CHAPTER 1-
She walked through the street thinking about the guy she loved. She was upset, as they have long parted. She had moved to New York to pursue her career. She didn't want to leave but once her dad found out, he made her leave. He found out that she had been liking this guy for a long time. She hated the fact that her dad was super strict.
"Sharon!" Chimed a familiar voice. It was Jennifer, her first and best friend in New York. She became friends with Jenny because she reminded her of Simmi, her best friend from Mumbai. "It's good I found you here. I was going to introduce you to the guy I like. He posted a status about a park he was going to and he said that he and his friends were going to have a flashmob there. Want to go see it?"
"I don't know," said Sharon. "I am really not in the mood." Slowly, Jennifer persuaded Sharon to go to the park with her. They made their way home, as they shared an apartment. During the whole walk, Sharon was lost in past thoughts while Jennifer talked about her crush.
Eventually, it was 7:30, time for the flashmob. They scurried out, dressed as good as they possibly could. Sharon wore her pink dress that her love had given her. It was the only symbol of their love she had. She was looking beautiful as always.
They made their way to the park. Sharon realized that she had never asked Jennifer for the name of the guy she liked. Jennifer replied with "hold on, I'll just go get him." Sharon followed Jennifer in the park, still not wanting to be there. Jennifer had spotted him.
They walked over to him, his back was turned toward them. He was talking to a fan, a girl obviously. Sharon looked at him, confused, as if she had seen him before. And then unexpectedly, Jennifer poked him and called "Hey!" He turned and Sharon stared in disbelief. There he was, the familiar face that she had been longing to see for 3 years.
