Swayam stood there watching the spring for several minutes. It felt like that she was sitting on stone still. But she was gone n he wished that could stop her. His phone ringed. It was his home caretaker calling." Baba u haven't ate breakfast till now. If u r done with ur morning walk. Come n eat the breakfast."
He remembered that he is taken a long time for his walk. And now he was not in mood to do anything.
" Hello, Hello. R u there Baba?"
" Yeah I'm coming in a little while." He came out of trance n disconnected the call.
His caretaker was employed in his grandparents house from very little age. He had became a family member for them. They had immense trust on him He treated Swayam like his son. Swayam also respected him as an elder person of the family.
He walked towards his home sadly. The crying face of that girl was repeatedly flashing in front of his eyes.
" Kaka I'm home. He said as he reached the doorstep. The environment seems different from what he had witnessed in the early morning. Heavyhearted he ate the breakfast. Everything was very delicious but it had no effect on him.
He was not interested in anything. He couldn't concentrate as well. He went to his room n he decided to take a nap. But every time he tried to close his eyes. Her face was flashing. He couldn't sleep. He went downstairs Kaka was preparing various dishes.
" Why r u preparing food now we just had breakfast n there is time in lunch." Swayam asked in confusion.
"Nah, Nah I'm not preparing for lunch. It is Sunday today n I spend Sundays in an orphanage. Children are very fond of my cooked food so I'm preparing for them."
"Oh okay. In how much time u r leaving?
"In half n hour. Would u also like to come?"
May be I should go, I'll be able to distract myself, Swayam thought to himself.
"If u dont wanna come I wont mind", Kaka said seeing him engrossed in thoughts.
"No, No. It is not like that. I'll just fresh up n come", Swayam said breaking his thoughts.
They reached the orphanage. It was neither too small or nor too big. The surroundings were peaceful. This is the speciality of this valley that every place is peaceful n beautiful. One can spend his whole life here.
As they enter all children shouted with joy n came n surrounded them in a circle. Kaka opened his bag n distributed chocolates to all of them.
"Who is he?" One of them asked for Swayam.
"He is my friend Swayam. He is very sweet. When I told him about u all he came here to make friends with u." Kaka replied to child's curiosity.
Swayam went near to the child n asked, "will u be my friend?"
"Only on one condition. U'll give one chocolate to me n my friends daily n u'll come n play with us daily. Then I'll think about friendship", child answered placing a finger on his cheek as if thinking.
"Yeah I'll come n play with u all. I'll not bring one chocolate but, after a little pause, many chocolates."
"Pakka promise? Then I'm ur friend. My name is Akash. Come I'll introduce u to all my friends." Child extended his hand.
Akash took him to all his friends n introduced Swayam to them.
Suddenly the owner of the orphanage came towards children n said "U know baccho. Who has come to meet u all right now? Sharon didi.
All hooted n ran to office. Swayam stood there only. Akash came back n said, "Come I'll meet u with our sweetest friend. She is very caring" n he started praising Sharon.
They both entered the office. As Swayam look Sharon, world around him stopped. She was the same girl who he saw in the morning.
