Part 63:

In the lounge

Everyone is busy chatting and happy.
Manvi: Oooh Watchman * nudges Virat*
Virat: MadamJi can you stop irritating me * warns her*
Manvi: Oye Hoye Janeman! * pulls Virat's cheek*
Virat: MadamJi have some shame! There is little child here * looks at Dhruv*
Dhruv: What is Janeman?
Manvi: Ooops!
Dhruv: So it means Ooops. Okay.. So now if I make any mistake I will say Janeman * smiles*
Virat bangs his head on his palm..
Manvi: Oh god! Help.
Dhruv: I'll tell Dadi about this word.. * about to get up*
Virat grabs him quickly.
Virat: Listen mini monkey.. about our water fight.. * tries to distract him*
Dhruv: Oh yes..
Virat: We can't do that now right?
Dhruv: Oh yes. The small babies won't like it and the water will make them feel cold too.
Virat: Wow Dhruv. You are going to be a very good Bhaiya.
Dhruv: Yaay! Thank you * runs to Vanshika and hugs her*
Manvi: He definitely will. He is such a Accha bacha. * smiles*
Virat smiles.
Manvi: I want to know what's happening inside.. * eagerly looking at the door*

Couple of minutes have passed since baby girl came.
Viren: Dr Priya..this long pause. I mean no contraction?
Dr Priya: Don't worry Mr Vadhera. It happens sometimes. We've checked the baby.. It's fine. Everything is under control.
Jeevika: Maybe this one isn't ready yet * smiles*
Dr Priya: Mrs Vadhera next contraction and push..
Jeevika nodes..
After a few minutes..
Jeevika shuts her eyes and pushes again..
Viren: Come on... Very good Jeevika..
Jeevika moans..
Dr Priya: The head is out.. Keep pushing.. A bit more. Well done Mrs Vadhera.. Congratulations again.. It's a Girl
Jeevika has tears in her eyes.
Viren kisses Jeevika's forehead.
The nurse takes baby girl two to the basin.
Dr Priya: I'll go outside and inform everyone outside. They can see you when you change room.
Viren: Totally understand Doctor. Thank you so much.
Dr Priya: My pleasure. Good luck with your two daughters. Nurse please shift Mrs Vadhera in the private room on floor 5.
The nurse nodes.
Jeevika: Our daughters? * looks for them*
The nurse comes with the first baby girl.. And gives it to Viren.
Viren has tears in his eyes..
Viren: She looks just like you * adores her*
Jeevika: Noo.. She looks like you * smiles*
The nurse comes with the second baby girl and gives it Jeevika..
Jeevika: Hello Baby. You made us wait for a long time. * looks at her*
She gives out a cry as if she understood what Jeevika was saying.

Dr Priya walks outside the room and walks inside the lounge.
Everyone's attention goes towards her.
Dr Priya: Congratulations. The twins are in good health and so is their mother.
Everyone is happy and cheer.
Dr Priya: Oh yes they both are girls.
Everyone is really happy.
Manvi: Doctor can we meet them? * has tears in her eyes*
Dr Priya: You will have to go to floor 5; that's where the room is.
Manvi: Thank you very much.
Everyone rushes to go floor 5.

Jeevika, Viren and two babies are in their private room on floor 5. The first baby is in Viren's arm. She has her eyes wide open and is looking at everything. The second baby is in Jeevika's hand; she is fast asleep.
* Knock Knock*
Viren: Come in..
Manvi peeks through door and opens it wide.
Everyone rushes inside towards them.
Virat: Everyone make a queue behind me to see the babies..
No one listens to him..
Virat: Sssh. Hello. Everyone queue up behind me if you want to see the babies!
Dadaji: Virat! * tries to act angry*
Virat: Sorry Sorry * scared*
Vanshika: God bless you beta * kisses Jeevika*
Beeji: Badhai ho.. Beta * hugs Viren and Jeevika*
Everyone eventually makes a queue and Virat is the last one in the line.
Virat: You guys are such cheaters.. I was first in the queue.
Kadambari: Haaaiye Ne Virat.. Sorry. But you are the youngest.
Virat winks at her.
Viren passes the baby to Dadaji..
Dadaji: Aaare.. You are wide awake. * Smiles* And your sister is sleeping. God bless you both.
Dadaji passes the baby to Vanshika.
Vanshika: She looks just like Jeevika. These big eyes.. * the baby smiles* Look she is smiling. You like your Dadi.. God bless you beta * hugs her*
Everyone else takes their time with the baby.
Viren: Dhruv come here..
Dhruv goes running to him..
Viren: Dhruv..see you have two sisters now.
Dhruv peeks to look at the baby in Jeevika's arms.
Dhruv: Sister 1 is sleeping Daddy * curious*
Viren: Yes Dhruv.. * let's out a laugh* but Sister 2 is awake.
Dhruv: I will meet her after everyone else * smiles* Daddy they are so small.
Viren: You were also this small when you were born.
Dhruv smiles.
Manvi takes the baby in her arms..
Manvi: Awwwrh * adore her* perfect. Why are you smiling baby? Huh? I'm your Masi * the baby smiles*
Virat: Awwwrh Baby. Are you looking at a monkey and smiling? I know you are * smiles*
Manvi: Viraaat!
Virat: She definitely looks like Bhabhi.
Manvi: Jeeju are they identical?
Viren: They are non identical.
Manvi: Wow. I want to see my sleeping beauty too?
Everyone laughs at this.
Manvi passes the baby to Viren and sits next to Jeevika to see the other baby
Manvi: Bless her. She looks like you Di. Maybe the hair is like Jeeju.
Jeevika smiles.
Manvi: Who was born first?
Jeevika: The one with VirenJi was born first. This little madam didn't want to come out* hugs her*

Viren: See Dhruv. This is your sister.
Dhruv: Hi Baby * strokes her cheek*
The baby looks at him with big eyes.
Dhruv: Im your bhaiya. * smiles*
Viren smiles looking at this.
Dhruv: Daddy she has big eyes. Her cheeks are so pink.
Viren: Do you want to meet your other sister too?
Dhruv: I will meet her when she wakes up.
Viren smiles.
Vanshika: When will g be discharged?
Viren: I think the nurse is going to come and check Jeevika and the babies. Then I think we can go.

Everyone is sitting on the sofas in the private room. The two babies are asleep now and so is Jeevika. Everyone else is chatting quietly. Viren and Virat have gone to the cafe to get tea and coffee.
Viren and Virat place the order and inform them to bring it to their room.
They are walking back to the room.

Virat: So Bhai.. Father of three children! Wow! Pressure? * winks*
Viren: What pressure Yaar? I'm just so happy.
Virat: I know. You have been smiling.
Viren: You Virat... Having two daughters feels like something else.
Virat smiles.
Viren: You know when I held the babies; I was speechless. The way one of them was looking at me. I mean I felt like that with Dhruv too but this time it is a strange feeling. Good feeling.
Virat: Awwwrrrh mera bhaiya! * hugs him while walking*
Viren: Nautanki * hugs him back*
Virat: You look tired Bhai. I hope the nurse comes very soon. So we can go home. You, Bhabhi and Maa can go to sleep.
Viren: Right now I'm just too happy to feel any tiredness.
Virat and Viren enter the room and sit on the sofa.
