I have seen your index...I have also read most of the precaps you have posted about your stories..They have been so beautifully written that readers like me can't help but request you to share your work...But you've posted in your profile not to PM you for the blog link...

I understand the ordeal you've been through with plagarism and the difficulty you have in trusting someone new like me...But a genuine question I have is, do you not want new readers at all? If the answer is no, then what about the previews of all the stories you've posted?

I would absolutely LOVE to read your work...I sooo badly want to read your stories about Arnav's repentance... But I can't.. ..Only because I found you too late and couldn't prove myself as a trusted reader...
Tell me what should sincere and genuine new readers like me do to be a part of your reading network? I would really like to..

We must pressurize IF to implement stricter rules regarding FFs and plagariasm...I really appreciate your initiative against plagiarism and I've shared the link to your thread in my post...
In your thread, could you also give the usernames of the mods and people we need to PM to take stricter action against this issue?

I have noted down Vijay's profile link in the main post and on page 7 of the Against Plagiarism post. Thank You for sharing the link here. :)

Now coming to the questions you have asked me -

A. I want new readers of course, but I have a stringent method of selecting from the ones who request access which includes a number of things but actually it all comes down to whether I feel I can trust that person. However AS OF NOW, I am not taking any new readers because for the long time when I had opened my OS' blog to public, I had some 200 views with 15 comments. Now that is unacceptable. I dont like silent readers and hence am careful about them. Also I have a very busy schedule in my university these days which makes it difficult for me to keep track of everything properly, hence restricted access not open to any requests right now.

B. The previews are there because it wasnt planned that I will have to be so careful about the blog link and also quite simply it isnt my fault or my express wish to move from IF, then why should I remove previews to my work which may attract me new readers (although RIGHT NOW I am not allowing anyone access)

C. There is not really anything I require any person to do to get in my trusted readers' group...I really dont know how to explain this but well for starters, dont be a silent reader or an absolutely new member of IF, have a few hundred posts to your credit maybe, dont have engaged in any form of plagiarism/wrongful sharing of work...but after all this, it still is largely subjective so cant really explain...

Plagiarisn hurts the writers and sincere readers too. Krani is one of the really talented writers here. I m really sorry to hear her work got copied. In a perfect world people would realize copying someones work basically makes them a robber. In academia and professional life it can have serious consequences. But since people here chose to ignore this i feel we as readers can be on the watchout if we really respect our writer friends. Recently i came across a fb page which had plagiarized charlotte74 work. Not only did i bring it to her notice but reported the page on fb. If we all do our bit i m sure we can atleast curb it a little. All these writers have a large number of readers if all decide to take plagiarism seriously i m sure we can see some positive results...so friends i request all to please be aware and report such pages.

Thank you so much for your response...It clears a lot of fog...And I felt a lot better too reading it...
Often readers like me feel as though the writers are treating us very unfairly when our requests for access are turned down without any explanation..The rejection kinda hurts!

But I can now understand things better from a writer's point of view, especially one who has been done such an injustice...And the need for you to exercise so much caution..

I hope IF becomes a safe place for you to post your work here again. With the talent you have with words you deserve more readers and sincere ones in that too

I just have a request...
That whenever you decide to let new readers in I hope you would give me a chance...and other sincere new readers too.. :)

PS: I had posted on your thread for "Written in the stars" - now, fingers crossed!

Thank God ppl are taking intiative towards this sickest of crimes. I am a new reader here nd writers here fasinate me. i inspire them and want to right something myself but copying some1 else work never crosses my mind . And wen i saw so many writers putting stiky notes for no plagirism it felt strange to even think of something like this happening. But wen i got familiarized to this place i saw this crime actually practiced in bulk . And seeing those notes actually felt soo bad. To think writters going through traunma of witnessing there hard work being pulished under some1 else name was so horribel . Even considering it on myself , i would have litreally strangulated that theif to death.

Seeing a writter put note against non copying is one thing , coz its there work they obiously care for it . But as a new reader or unfamilier reader , who takes time to settle nd start commenting slowly its a feeling of helplesness. You care for the story u r reading as much as d writter, irrespective if you know them personaly or not coz u realte to it , u love it , nd u invest in it almost as much . But wen such crimes happen nd writter take there stories off nd u are denied access just because u r new or d writter does not trust u enough to grant acess fells horrible . Just beacuse of certain cowards nd untalented ppl even genuin readers like us are dragged in and are left deprived of good stuff.
Maybe writters know it or not , but we readers feel hurt almost as much as d writters wen d story we adore nd treat like our own baby is copied or theived.

But I am so happy to see readers are coming forward to support writters against palgiarism coz belive us readers or not we are as much affected by this crime as you writters are. Coz wen we connect to your story we directly or indirectl connect to you ll , ur emotions , your thinking and your veiws.
I myself as a reader am in a full support against this crime nd would do watever it takes to help stop it. And wait as Angelteen said for good and amazing writters of this forum to return back some day. :)

hi guys,

i have this feeling that i need to tell also my opinion.
when i have enter india-forums i have do it only because one story from krani. i was a silent reader.
then i have this idea in my mind and start my own FF.
then i slowly realize how important is to coment or hit like.
let me tell you that some wrriter are sooo goood. very talented.
they dont get money for their storys and share it for free. the only thing what they get is to put under theyr storys their name or feedbacks from readers.

i have so much fun writing my FF After their second wedding.
i have upload about 6 chapter in a few days. i have about 5000 views in 3 days but only 87 replies.

so there were a lot silent readers.

then somebody ask me if i have share my story somewhere else. i say no. the person tell me that she/he have read it somewhere else.
i was shocked and hurted. how can somebody do this. it was like slap in my face. i cant describe my feelings.
now i can understand some authors here. beeing here so short (im newbie) here and get victim so soon of plagiarism is hard.

i was scared to update my next chapter. im still scared. so i have to find solution. i have start to upload my future chapter in a new thread, so everybody who hit like, coment, is my budy or send me pm will get my new link. i want to know who reads my story because i think that it was a silent reader who have stoled my story.

yes it hurts when somebody is new here and cant read some FF. but it al happens because of PLAGIARISM. i kann feel the same because im a newbie here.

so i have this in my heart and have to tell it here.
i can understand both sides because im autor and newbie.
i apologize to everyone who i have read his story but not coment.
now i know how importand this is.
i definitively will fetch everything.

I took mine off IF not because of plagiarism but mostly because I wanted to get off of IF, which is why the FFs that I had finished, Intoxicated and Soulmates- are on open blogs.

The fact that Intoxicated isn't actually up yet is just because #MedicLife is ridiculously busy and on top of that, I'm working on something which isn't an FF in the little spare time I do have.

This said, if I found out someone was plagiarising me, I'd be mad. But also I just think plagiarisers are massive losers/ sadsacks/ lonelylaras... Because honestly, what joy or satisfaction could they possibly get claiming credit for something that isn't theirs?

I came to the conclusion it's for internet fame and recognition. But that just makes me think they're even MORE pathetic because think about it- if you pretend to be someone you're not in real life just so you can have friends, then you'll be completely miserable because NOBODY ACTUALLY LIKES YOU. If you are yourself, then whoever likes you will truly like you for you. In the same way, being popular for someone else's work just makes that person the one that's liked. Not you. And as soon as your true colours are revealed, all the lies will collapse around you and everyone you lied to will turn on you because they too will feel betrayed.

Sorry if the analogy didn't make sense, but as someone with a pretty fulfilling life and friends Offline and lucky enough to find likeminded people on here, that's just how I see it.

So yeah, plagiarism is pathetic, internet fame isn't real and studying to be a Doctor is inteeense.

P.S. Intoxicated will be up soon, the blog won't be restricted. Tainted is on a back-burner: you just have to send me a request through Wordpress and I accept, though there will be a sweep of silent readers soon. My other stories... well they're just going to have to wait till the original I'm working on at the minute is done/ I find some inspiration.

Well...on behalf of all sincere readers let me thank you so much for not blocking us out!!
No other writer would have a nonchalant attitude towards plagiarism like you do... It must be wonderful to have fulfillment inside😊
And I completely understand the logic...I've thought of it too...A bit like someone who does plastic surgery...people admire them but not for the real them. Its true..plagiarists are just loosers...
But why did you want to get off IF?

Its so true that as readers we emotionally connect to a story we love so much that when we hear of it being plagiarized or we hear that the writer has quit...It becomes quite depressing...
The need of the hour is to make IF secure so as to prevent plagiarism from ever happening here...Then writers can freely share and readers can freely enjoy..no fear or insecurities for either party...So as readers it is our responsibility to support the writers in this initiative...We must spam the mods and Vijay to give ear to our demands...
Lets hope that our efforts bear fruit..

I wrote because I wanted people to enjoy the worlds I created in my head, I don't WANT to have to make them private as though it's some sort of elitist club, but I grew disenchanted with IF after seeing so many friends and other brilliant writers shamelessly plagiarised, their work not only copied but also butchered and destroyed... And nothing was done.

I'm a Medic, IF was taking up too much time I didn't really have :')
