Yes that makes sense.

Sorry, I just realized how rude that sounded.

nahi re. you were not rude at all.. we are discussing dear. POVs can differ na. doesnot mean i am right and you are wrong and you are right i am wrong. i love to have healthy discussions...

See what i meant is some thing which i want to discuss.

I just love teen stories, college life, stories which has lots of humor. for example teenage love by nav_bat and Unexpectedly Expected.

but you know i can never bring myself to write those kind of stories no matter how much i want to... coz i dont have good sense of humor (though i enjoy it to the fullest) i can never make people laugh their tummy out.

same with teeny stories, i just dont know how a teenager will behave in a given circumstances because i was really matured when i was a teenager and i hardly have a proper teeny life. but i just love to read teenage stories. Remix and Hip Hip Hurray are my all time favourite serial.

so these are the area i know i cannot no matter how much i try because my thinking changes after sometime it gradually tends to go towards emotional subject. the biggest example is Ishq Vishq (shall we) which i wrote. i have started it as a teeny love story but indeed in a very mature note.

so my creativity is limited there. so i think i dont have that in me so i cannot write those stuffs.

this is why i said creativity is gifted not something u can get practicing it.

Par phir bhi yaar...! Just wanted to clarify. I am not very good with words. I do try to express myself more clearly, but sometimes it goes in the wrong direction.

Haan...in terms of what you are saying, it is true. Everyone has strengths and weaknesses in what they do. Like you make not like writing about teen life and college stories. I really can't write funny stories because after some time, I myself run out of jokes and anecdotal events.

See, I thought that you were saying that writing itself - you have to gifted for that, which I thought was very discouraging, because it was giving writers the excuse to say that..."I am not very talented so I borrowed this idea from another writer because I am not creative enough to come up one on my own!". This would have encouraged Plagiarism you see, and this post was anti-plagiarism. That is what I thought you meant.

But you cleared up my confusion regarding that.

Thank you for that.

I understand what you mean right now.

Love,

Mishty

I badly want to start with my story again but jotting it down is really problematic for me. So feel loss of words to fit in it , major defect is making corret sense.
Pls help.

See what you should do is get a plain peice of paper and write the main plot of story in bullet points.

Then arrange those bullet points chronologically so in the sequence they are supposed to be in.

So then you have a rough idea of what your story is going to be. This would help you visualize your story in a better way. It like planning your story, before you actually begin writing it.

Once you have a plan, then start writing it.

Spell-check your work using Mircosoft Word.

Also proof-read your work before posting it. Or get one of your friends to read it for you, and make those corrections.

Take small steps before going in straight for the kill.

I hope that helps.

^ thanks yaar. even i am not good with words. and when it comes to making someone understand writing something i fail miserabily. i am a better vocal person than writing and convincing lol 😆

but i hope what i meant. and i am very much against copying stuffs as i myself is a victim of such act. it was a very ugly incident which left a scar. i dont want to get into it what happened but its bad and it pains a lot when your work is copied without u being informed about it.

people should have guts to seek for permission from the original writer before copying their work. but u know people who copy are basically gut less losers...

agreed @mishty

another thing i want to add here is one should have a second person reading it (i know it is difficult) but we tend to miss our own faults sometimes...

I know what you mean. I myself have faced the scars of Plagiarism too. I was badly affected that I stopped writing for 6-8 months actually. I absolutely hate people who copy people's work. It shows that they were too lazy to get off their back-side and type something for the wider public. It also shows that they are cowards.

I just came back like a month ago, to begin writing again, just because of my readers. However, I did leave India Forums and moved to my blog, because there are certain rules on India Forums that restrict me to post my work here. Also, as a writer, my work is unsafe in this Forum.

This why this long post. Just to raise awareness and help new readers to develop their creativity rather than take ours. It is the worst feeling in the world when you find out that someone has taken your work and posted it somewhere else, calling it theirs. 😭

Mishty

Ahh yes. She is absolutely right about this.

Get a second person to read it for you, they will pick up on the mistakes that you have missed.
