The most important line. - BE YOURSELF... and another point is you get more stories from your life experiences. It adds more life to the story..

I completely agree with the fact that most people feel that they are not good writers because they don't have a good vocab. However, you don't need it. I also agree with the fact about the Writer's Block. I suffered it too. I have to say, sometimes it's good to have a break, because for me it was the passion for my writing that took over everything else.

I came back only to write. Only to express myself further.

Di need your help.
I badly want to start with my story again but jotting it down is really problematic for me. So feel loss of words to fit in it , major defect is making corret sense.

To start with well creativity is gifted unless you have it within you you just cannot be creative. Practice makes you perfect is a right word not creative. it is an art to conceive and then narrate how you would visualize your story...

Coming to the TM's 6 points. i wrote what i feel

Don't compare yourself with others. Well when i started writing last year it was something i have never thought i can per-sue it. I am more of a good narrater then a good writer. People who read my stories they know that i am not good in Literature. but yes i was never scared to write my thoughts no matter how bad i am. but what i got to know is the story, the script, the concept is what matters. i agree if i would have had a good grasp in the language my stories would have been much much better. still i am happy how i write and ofcourse i would love to refine my writing. Comparing your work with someone obstructs your creativity. but i am not saying you should not. yes you should but provided you learn form your mistakes and it keeps you motivated to do better and better.

Don't listen to feedback. For me feedback is a vital part when you are writing a story chapter-wise. it helps you in improvisation. you get a feel what others are thinking and expecting out of your stories. it helps you in betterment. Yes but never ever change your concept or storyline reading feedbacks. it messes up your story further. always remember remember one thing, everyone has their unique way of thinking and people like to read out of the box. if you ever get any negative comment in your writing never ever get demotivated. try to analyse what that person is saying and try to think it logically. if you think any comment which might help you in your story try to incorporate it. if not then just move on.

Routines. Never ever force you to right even if your readers are demanding. you will inveriably fall short of words. Creativity can never be forced unless it is your proffession.

Let go of Perfectionism. Give you best shot. its your story and no one knows better than you. Perfectionism is good as far as it is not effecting your flow.

Ignore trends. There is nothing called trend as far as creativity is concerned. you never know how many people would love to read what you write. It doesnot help you to think out of the box.

You. You should have a clear picture in mind before you start writing. the first thing that you need to know is the end of the story which you are nurturing. unless you know the end you can never focus on the current state. Building up a story is creativity but first you need to have a clear idea of the concept, the character, and the emotions. you should know what your are going to write in the next chapter while you are writing your current chapter it keep you in the flow. Close your eyes imagine about the scene and then start writing. that helps.

Few things which i follow.

Something can inspire you to write. in my case it was pure pure ArShi.
Creativity is an art which is within you. you cannot be creative if you dont have it inside you.
Be positive in whatever you do. dont hold yourself back thinking what others might think of you. you never know what clicks.
Keep you mind, eyes, ears open to the surroundings. you never know what you might get to know.
Never be ashamed of your creation. sometimes those creations helps you to be more creative.

Lastly reading books never makes you creative. i have never ever read any fiction in my life. but i feel it surely it helps you in refining your skills. so i would say write what your heart says and your mind conceives trust me you will be a better writer.

For me a story should have a good narration rather than classy literature. maybe i am saying this because i am not good in literature. but i feel i have few good examples thats why i am saying this. last and the most important thing is that you need to connect with people with your writing and trust me it can be in any form of writing. you dont need to be a skilled writer to be creative.

- focus on narration

- know the high point of your story

- place it when people are least expecting it.

- keep the surprise element intact till the end.

- keep it simple

- never focus on likes (it tends to demotivate you so keep your expectations low)

- give your best.

- you will be rewarded

- be humble

I agree with some of your points. Your post highlighted very significant things, which other people need to know.

However, I strongly believe that everyone is creative if they put their mind to it. Everyone is different and unique - in their own way.

That is originality. The reason why we think differently is because everyone's different, because are idea's of how we perceive things are different. Hence everyone has creativity.

I also don't believe that Creativity is only gifted because it is not. If you have the passion and determination to do something. Like someone who doesn't really know how to play a piano. But they learn it, pass their exams which makes them more confident. Then they can compose what they like.

If you are determined enough - the creativity will come to you.

i agree. but what i meant is learning a piano is only possible if you have the passion and love to learn it and unless it is withing you, you cannot excel. you will just learn it and produce it. you cannot create the tunes on your own... you cannot force yourself to love/learn something. here you are talking more about practice, the one i mentioned about refining. you cannot create unless you are passionate about it. and to create you need the first push and then you keep on refining it.

what i am trying to say think about those people who starts coping others work. they want to write but they cannot think. unless they dont have the capacity to create they will end up copying.
