How can you write so beautifully?? It was just amazingly heartrending... Poor Khushi, never thought that under cheerful exterior lurked such a lonely & sad soul. What kind of a mother does she have? Who left her toddler daughter to marry a man who will take her away from her child?? Sheesh!! My heart bled when Khushi cried over her dad's grave. At least, her dad being dead did not abandon her completely, in the sense that his grave is still there so that she can go & talk to him... Her mother's gift obviously appears so cheap in light of the fact she denied her daughter her love & protection esp. when she didn't have a father...

And Arnav, what can I say. The poor boy hides behind a tough & mean exterior to protect his tortured soul... Him breaking down at Khushi's father's grave was so, so sad. The poor boy's craving for parental love & guidance, just brought me to tears...

Awww, Arnav sketching Khushi's eyes was so romantic. Poor Khushi, could not even recognize her own eyes thought they were familiar. LOL.

The last scene where Khushi revives a fainted Arnav was beyond beautiful... You did infinite justice to that scene. It was just perfectly portrayed, the ever forgiving & friendly Khushi taking care of a guy who has been nothing but mean to her was so just Khushi... And Arnav being physically helpless & his vulnerability being completely exposed was written superbly well.

Can't wait to read the next chapter, please continue soon. And I just love the pace, it is just perfect. We need this detail of their past to know who they are as adults, so you're doing absolutely fine :)
