"Why would I mind?" He responded to her challenge by putting his hand around her shoulder, to mark her as his own. To the rest of the crowd they would look like the perfect couple but he could feel holding her breath "After all she is my wife and that's all that matters."

FLASHBACK: ETF OFFICE MUMBAI

While sitting at the bar he couldn't help but think of his morning discussion with conversation with Sameer.

Arjun, Chotu called and informed that there are some illegal drug dealings going on in Devils Den. It's the Disco, I know Sam, and I also stay in Mumbai and if I think about it I do have a much social and active life as compared to you he replied with a chuckle. Whatever, Arjun, it's a well known place so we need to be extra careful so I expect no theatrics from your end and don't you dare defy my orders. Sure, Sameer Sir, I follow you orders he replied with the smirk which Sameer knew meant trouble either for the criminals or for him

And now after 3 hrs of alcohol tasting he wasn't sure that why the case was given to ETF. Even the local police would have tackled the case after all just few broken teeth and bones and the man had started to speak out the truth .Now pondering over it Sameer would be livid tomorrow and he would be really hard to pacify him. He knew, they both knew that he was rather bored by the lack of challenge. It was becoming too easy to watch them break down until they had no option but to give into him. And then he would do as he wished. His patience was wearing out and that would often lead him to unleash his worst on the criminals tough it was correct but against the protocol of being a cop. Even his team members could sense the change in him

He was the Super Cop as he was named by his fellow colleagues and indeed one the strongest one. No one had the audacity to stand up against him for his one look could send shivers down the enemy's spine. Nowadays it was almost becoming like a child's game which was repeated every other day. But despite all that it his obsession and the only aim to cleanse the society as much as possible were still there. Power & adulation were never his aim but his aim was itself the reward.

Now that he was on an introspection mode for which he knew he has to thank the bar tender. He realized that he was alone, yes professionally he was flourishing , Personally he had a friend in Sameer and family in ETF team and not to forget his Dadi .But still there was a emptiness which was yet to filled and that's when a soft feminine body bumped against him spilling his drink .

As she felt her husband's arm around her, she just stood there silently.

"Isn't that right, Riya?" Arjun asked even as he held her. "Nothing else matters, except that we are married." His words weren't a warning but rather a reminder of their relationship.
