Prologue

Tonight was one of those nights where she had to put the pretense to be happy wife of the Mumbai Super Cop but only if they could see through her they would now the turmoil she has to face with every step she took with him '...

He could sense her hesitance and her fake smile as she met with the other officers and their wives .The ways her hands clenched gave away the storm that was building inside her, After all he could always look through her, wish she could just once do the same to realize the love he had for her.

Good Evening All, the known voice of his best friend and chief ACP Sameer Rathore echoed through the hall breaking his reverie.

Well I am sure you all must be wondering for the reason for tonight's celebrations ,Well to end the suspense, this party is to celebrate first marriage anniversary of our Super Cop ACP Arjun Suryakant Rawte and his lovely wife and the applause followed .

He stood next to the ETF Chief ACP Sameer Rathore and the commissioner Mr Dutta , trying to stop himself from looking for her. He hated parties and this particularly wasn't the one he would ever want to be a part of but just for her, Oh wait there she is!" Mr Dutta exclaimed as he spotted his daughter nearing them. "There she is!"Yes there she was, the reason for him being here tonight.

Yes there she was, the reason for him being here tonight.

Time didn't change her a bit. She had definitely had become more beautiful, Wearing just a Black sari and a pair long earring she outshone the entire woman in the room.

"Dad, I was just going to come and talk to you."

"I could hardly wait "He laughed.

"Anyways there is someone I would like to re- introduce you to. Her eyes widened as she turned around and saw him. He saw the mixture of emotions floating on her face - Surprise, pain and finally happiness her eyes shone as she looked up at him.

"Hi' I can't believe it's really you.

They know each other he heard Sameer asking while his eyes oscillating between the 2 of them. Yes it was her father who answered, since childhood .He is Abhi, Abhinav Choudhury, Justice Choudhury son.

Sameer saw him asking her for a dance and she obliged with a smile

But she never'..ever dances with any other man! Rathore thought
