Ab-so-luuutely LOVED it.
Beyond, way way beyond, expectation.
You ended the story squeezing the readers' heart well and good, such finness with which you executed this chapter! As it happens, I was thinking just yesterday to nudge you a little to do something about the much-in-love Arnav and Khushi still not having a child (or, preferably, a whole brood :D) to love to distraction.
And viola! there it was! Oh, the delight and surprise of it! :D (more delight and less surprise though, because more than a few times now you've appeared to be able to read the minds of your readers) :)
The update was story writing at its best.
You did not let the family break down in hysterics when they saw Arnav and Dhruv but let it erupt when they learnt Khushi took a fall. The family is emotional certainly, but every member is also strong enough to control their emotions when they need to. They seem to love and cherish quietly but show concern and worry quite animatedly. :)
Arnav telling Khushi about his low-sugar episode, all the while wishing to not worry her, and Khushi doing exactly that was yet another show of their strong bond and how little they keep secrets from each other.
Then later on Khushi shouting at him in her need to make him understand and how, even right after that they both went to sleep in each other's arms, was beautiful. Arnav's dialogue just before they go to sleep makes the reader grin right along with Khushi's smile. :)
The reunion scene was written brilliantly. How Khushi stood with Dhruv instead of Arnav because it was Dhruv who needed her at the point, and how Arnav promptly forgave his brother once he heard his brother was exactly what their characters demanded. Your depiction of Mamiji's concern and her overflowing happiness at the reuniion, and later on, Anjali's tearful joy at the scene in the library that completely reassured her that everything was alright was very true to their characters as well. How Arnav thanks his wife so seriously and how she gently responds is yet another one of those special Arnav-khushi moments.
The brothers with their eyes popping and their incredulous echoing of 'romaaanch what!' was the comedy highlight of the episode. Along with the surprised laugh it brought on I also learnt a new word. :D
And it makes one tearful as you manage to make Dhruv convey all his feelings in that simple sentence..to his bhabhi from her Dhruv...just like his brother had conquered his heart, so had his bhabhi.
A beautifully fitting end to a beautiful narration of emotions and family.
