It was an amazing update & thanks for the PM 😊
- Arnav chiding himself for missing the chance of seeing Khushi in red was sweet
- Khushi assuring herself that maybe it was normal to behave like that in parties to Arnav's gestures of holding her seemed very cute & pointed out her matured thought of reasoning out a situation before creating a scene, especially in a social gathering which would ultimately result in tarnishing Arnav's name & image in the society was admirable
- Arnav planning to leave the party abruptly, the moment she took Akash's name, sending Aman to interrupt the friends & holding Khushi possessively more closer than before and not letting her go from him points out his fear of losing her and his unwillingness to even risk the meagre chance of any such thing happening
- Arnav at first accidentally rising his hand on her back from where it was previously placed & deciding to withdraw it but changing his mind the next instance on witnessing Akash glancing at his Khushi was beautifully portrayed
- Arnav's thought of not professing things without being certain of Khushi's feelings depicts how much he respects her feelings
Quoted the lines that I loved the most :
- ...he could not take his eyes off of her. She was a vision, and she was his. A renewed wave of possessiveness swept over him.
- 'If she looks so delectable in white, how would have she looked in red?' he deliberated. He had no one but himself to blame for missing that vision, he rued.
- How to tell a girl who is looking absolutely ravishing and sexy, that she is looking more than okay, WAY MORE, without sounding cheesy? he pondered.
- 'Why? I mean are you getting bored? Do you wanna go back? We can leave' suddenly all his attention was on her.
- If Arnav was half interested in the party earlier, his full interest now went down the drain at seeing his white angle gliding towards that idiotly grinning Akash Roy.
- And after 20 minutes whatever little patience he had, snapped.
- As soon as Khushi reached Arnav, he latched his left hand at the small of her back, on the pretext of introducing her to someone, and then innocently forgot to take his hand back, for the rest of the party.
- 'Its normal. Don't overreact. Everyone is standing like this only' she kept chanting in her mind, all the while giving side glances to an ignorant-to-her-plight Arnavji. Only that, he was very much aware of his hand, her reaction and her plight.
- Just then Arnav turned to his side, his other side, and simultaneously his hand on Khushi's back rode up a little, KNOCKING THE BREATH OUT OF THEIR LUNGS.
- Should I move? Will that look rude? Does Arnavji even realize where his hand is?' her confused mind went into over drive now.
- And his first instinct was to pull his hand back. But something stopped him. ...And it felt heavenly. He did not want to take his hand back, but he knew things will get very awkward between them if he did not. And he had all the intentions to draw his hand back at that moment, had he not seen Akash looking lost into Khushi from a distance.
- 'Well, we have to take a step ahead from somewhere. Why not here? She has to be taken out of her friendship zone. I am doing nothing wrong, Khushi is mine' his mind took a U-turn.
- Her cluelessness was very cute, but he does not have time to humor it, specially with her random 'friends' turning up on his door step. But however certain he was about his feelings, it did not mean he'll profess them without being sure of hers.❤️
