Jaishree wow u are good with emotions and so descriptively beautiful can see it all in my mind's eye. Shyla has gone through severe trauma. But Adi's love made survive though she does not remember. It is beautiful. 👏

He did not sleep a wink that night , several times he got up to check on her.

He sat beside the bed and gazed at her face.

Gently tucked a strand of hair behind her ears.

Her cheeks a little pale but still had that curve on which his knuckles had grazed a thousand times.

He moved forward and allowed himself to do it again, a catch forming in his throat as he did so.

She was deep in medicine induced slumber, but somewhere in her subconscious mind, felt his gentle fingers.

Her fingers moved.

He stopped; afraid he might have woken her.

She was still fast asleep, but her fingers moved up touching his hand lightly, her eyelids fluttered and she moved her head sideways, her breathing rasped and she moaned as if in pain, her legs kicking against the sheets.

A struggle was going on within,

She felt the touch, it felt familiar, she wanted to see who it was, but her eyelids refused to open, she struggled.

He gently rubbed her fingers with his thumb, comforting,

Shhh. Baby, hushhh, Dr. A is here now he whispered'

Shhh, his finger ran across her cheeks calming her.

She heard his voice, she felt safe.

He placed his hand over hers.

Slowly she quietened down, her breathing rhythmic.

Her fingers found his and tightened around them.

She turned holding his hand tucked against her, she slept calmly.

Each held the other.

Two tears escaped, one from his and one slowly made its way through her lashes.

As he sat beside her, he knew one thing., allow La to find her Dr.A, the curtain that hung on her memories was translucent.

It was nearly dawn when he ever so gently removed his hand,

Mmm she protested, her eyes closed.

I am here La, he whispered into her ears.

Her grasp loosened. He knew her heart had heard.

His lips just touched her forehead.

He closed the door noiselessly behind him

Adrit and the chief discussed Shyla at length.

I cannot believe this Adrit, It seems like a miracle, the chief was telling him.

Two years, God does work in his own mysterious ways.

The chief handed over all the files and reports of all the hospitals in which she had been admitted.

There were still so many unanswered questions.

But priority was Shyla. Nothing else mattered, all other things could wait.

Naren and Ridhi were coming in sometime during the day

Sitting in his room he looked through the reports.

She was unconscious when she was found. She had been admitted by some villagers. A few names were also mentioned. They had even come in regularly to take care of her.

Yes chief god does work in mysterious ways, he thought to himself.

Her brain scan were clear, Naren will be able to give him a better picture.

Her speech was another mystery, nothing was wrong with her voice box!!

Why doesn't she speak? Shock?

Other than several deep cuts on her arms, glass pieces and thorns had to be removed.

She had suffered a fractured leg and a dislocated hip.

High fever, panic attacks, nightmares.

Momentarily he stopped, not wanting read any further.. But he had too.

He searched for any report on Head injuries, there were none!!!

He continued reading like a doctor, trying so hard not to be affected.

The scar on the face was due to a glass piece, it had narrowly missed going into her eyes.

No,, oh god No, he closed his eyes, the pain, the suffering, the trauma she must have gone through.

Not knowing, Not knowing... La not knowing who she was, and I not knowing you were alive La.

A sound of deep sorrow escaped his lips.

First of all Jaya superb updates. And then ...I will pray that may Dr.A's La will regain her memory soon...
It seems she had faced a terrible accident...the symptoms which are given in the reports...1. Face scar is occurred due to a glass pieces which hurt her just beneath her eyes.
2. She had a leg fracture and hip dislocation...
3. Her arms were cut by the thrones and glass pieces...
Above things are signaled towards a car accident...and she might be sit on the front seat of the car...now question is who was driving the car??
And about her Memory loss...there is no sign of Brain damage and her vocal box damage...then she might get a shock which made her numb. But what caused her ...and why can't she remember any thing...I hope this questions will be answered only after her recovery.SO I am desperately waiting for the new updates.
Don't know Jaya who is thinking this and why but these lines are reached to me by something...
