IS LOVE IN THE AIR?
[SUNDAY READS] Clinic buzzed with activity. But most came in with common colds and flu symptoms only.
There was couple of cases which needed a little more care.
He watched as Shyla comforted a crying child. She took care of the clinic like a professional. Except for the tripping and dropping things, she was perfect [ GRINS].
His eyes followed her,

Why am I staring at her.
[MY WORK IS MY WIFE]
Her hair looks so soft.
He nearly jumped
"Crash ,,, thud,,, thump '. A plate fell and then slowly twirled as it came to rest.
Shyla stood there with her hands over her ears.
A grin was trying not to appear on her lips.
She looked at him, bit her lips and then mouthed a Sorry.
He was not sure whether to smile or look angry.
The smile won.
Thank god there not many Glass things kept around here, he said.
She made a face.
You know I am not that clumsy'I am '. Before she could continue, the spoon which she was waving out as she spoke went flying from her fingers nearly hitting him.
She stood their hands in air, tongue peeking out, and not exactly happy at the sound of him laughing.
Hmmmp' she muttered, going home, feeling hungry, she pouted.
Sure, I will be safe at least for some time.
She glared at him before stomping away.
He was still grinning, when Naren walked in.
What happened?
Nothing just missed being hit by a flying spoon.

Do you know that there are Dolphins sightings near here?
Dolphins? Who told you?
Shylu said she can take us if we are interested!!
Ya why not? Tomorrow being Sunday, we can relax for some time.
The day progressed with no more flying, falling, dropping objects..
They were supposed be ready at 6 in the morning.
He was looking forward to sighting Dolphins.
[OR WAS HE LOOKING FORWARD TO SHYLA?]
...SUNDAY MORNING
Adrit yawned, Shyla are you sure there are Dolphins in these waters, he asked from beneath the hat which covered his face. I could have snoozed for another hour he grumbled.
Stop complaining Dr. A , they will come.
May be you should sing to let them know we are here, he grinned.
She stood at the stern looking at miles and miles of the vast ocean.
Dr. A he heard her whispered call, He opened his eyes as she removed his hat.
Look, he followed her pointing finger.
Two dolphins made a beautiful rhythmic leap into the air, before they disappeared into the water.
He stood up to get a better look, he watched as they leapt again and again.
They stood together gazing at the amazing sight.
He grabbed her hand and whispered, "that is perfection".
She stood still, his hand was warm, as it enveloped her smaller palm in his.
Her breathing almost stopped.
A man's touch was new to her.
A fluttering grew in her heart.
He turned towards her, their eyes met and held.
He felt this urge to run his knuckles against her cheeks.
Her eyes went a dark shade of grey.
Ahem, Naren cleared his throat.
Excuse me, Adrit , Shyla.. errr can you move a little he said, pushing them apart, You know I would love to see the Dolphins too, he had this big teasing smile on his lips.
Her cheeks were flushed as she hurriedly moved.
Adrit grunted something.
All the three watched the Dolphins in silence.
Soon the lovely animals moved away.
Coffee anyone asked shyla.
Soon hot coffee and samosas were eaten away in the midst of Dolphin discussions.
Would love to stay here the entire day said Adrit.
Of course you would Dr. A , Naren said guffawing loudly, much to Shyla's embarrassment, Adrit dimpled at both of them.
