Madhumati woke up to the sound of crying and moaning. She tried rubbing her eyes but couldn't. That was the time she realized that her legs and hands were tied in an uncomfortable manner to a column. She tried wriggling her hands to make it come alive, but nothing helped her. Her eyes slowly adjusted to the darkness around her. She was shocked at what she saw. All around her, people were tied similar to herself. Some were crying and some were praying.

Chup shouted a voice from somewhere above and everyone became silent (shut up). She looked here and there to assess the situation she was in.

Tum log apun ke custody me ho. Understanding?? Asked her voice (you guys are under my custody. Understand?)

Sab listening to me, I not maroying (hitting) you if not listing then I maroging you... (If you all listen to me, then I wont hit you if not I'll hit you)

Understanding???? He asked in a gruff voice.

Madhumati was still searching for the face of the man to whom this voice belonged.

Arrey Chup karo Nadhkishore she yelled. Hume chod do. Ap logo ko galath family hui hai. Madhumati cried out (keep quiet Nadhkishore. Let me out. You have misunderstood me)

But there was no reaction. No voice. So she yelled out again. Hume chod do.

Suddenly the door opened and two bulky men appeared. They walked towards her and grabbed her by her shoulders. One opened her hands but not her legs. They dragged her out of the room and locked her in another small dark and fowl smelling room. She moved her hands on the ground to check where she was, when her fingers touched something gooey, she stopped. She was scared to think of what that might be. The noise of the door opening made her turn around. One of the guys who bought her here stood there with a bucket in hand. He switched on the light and Madhumati got the shock of her life.

Ek hi balti pani milegi. Saf karo aur raho. He smirked at the look on her face.(you get only one bucket of water. Clean it and stay)

Wo kya hai na, boss ka pet kharab hai isliye. He said point at the mess, then he turned to leave (you see the boss has a stomach problem, that is why)

Thath bool gaya... saying he hit his head with his hand... Yeh lo help ke liye... saying he handed her a toothbrush and left her.(oh I forgot) (take this for your help)

Madhumati sat there looking at the toilet which was covered with grease everywhere.

Taking a deep breath she stepped inside the office... Devi maiyya... pls.. hume yeh job chahiye... Kushi keliye.. bauji ke liye... pls she prayed as she arranged her duppata in place and sat down in the waiting room...(DM pls I need this job for Kushi for father pls) she was 5^th on the call list and the nervousness was making her hands sweaty. This was the first interview of her life, and being a shy person this was scary for her. She pressed her palms together stopping them from shaking. She closed her eyes and prayed her goddess for strength and sucess

Payal Gupta... the lady called. She got up and in a hurry dropped her file. Luckly the file was closed so her documents dint spill over. She picked it up and placed it near her eyes, a sign of respect and apologizing to God for her carelessness... Payal had been thought earlier that books like many other things were equated to Goddess Saraswathi and are to be held in the same position that was given to the Godess herself...

Gathering herself, she made her way towards the closed room..

May I come in sir? she asked in a really soft voice...

Yes.. came a soft but manly voice...

She entered inside the room... and placed the file on the desk...

The chair revolved and both the people were shocked to see each other...

AAP??? Both asked in the same manner...

JI.. answered together...and then both smiled...

Ok.. ab we will start the interview... saying Akash started the questions.. He went through the records and found her good in academics but dint have any experience... she was nto music and had done her typing.. The answers she gave was good but defo not his Bhai's standards... but there was no way in this life that he would let her go... so he had quickly made a decision...

So... hmm... what is your name??? he asked, acting as though he dint read her name on the file..

Payal sir ... Payal Gupta... she said with a smile..

Hmm.. please go and wait... you will be informed of your position soon.. he told her

Payal took the file and left the room... she dint know what to think... she knew she did answer the questions to the best of her ability but was it enough? she dint know...

Maan entered his office in his usual glory. His eyes immediately moved to the cabin near his. There he saw the only woman who affected him, engrossed in some file. For few moments, he got jealous of that file which had occupied her attention. That attention which he had craved and dreamt for so many years. Mentally slapping himself for thinking all this, he pushed his body towards his cabin. He had work to do. Important work that was long left undone. He smirked as this thought crossed his mind.

Adhi he called as he sat down on his seat. He saw his trusted man enter, adjusting his glasses

Get me a trusted and good detective he ordered

Ok sir. Adhi answered as he placed few files on the table. These files need your signatures Sir. The bank manager in waiting for you outside. You also have 2 more appointments by lunch. Adhi filled in Maan's appointments for the day. He was so busy in doing so that he dint pay attentions to his boss, who was glaring at him.

Adhi Maan called in a serious voice

Sir??? Adhi stammered as he saw Maan glaring at him

Isn't this job someone else's??? Why the hell are you still doing this around here?

Wo Sir Adhi gulped at the look Maan gave him.

Go and get Mrs Jha. I believe she is the secretary and it is her job to fill me in of my appointments for today. Saying he dismissed Adhi

As soon as Adhi left he took his phone. Natty come in now.

But sir but she was stopped.

By now I mean NOW! Got it? Don't you dare try to refuse me. You are not worth so much to refuse me. Come in in 1 minute. He yelled before he cut the call.

Just then the door opened and Natasha practically ran into the room. She stood near him shivering. She was scared for her job and more so scared of what he was planning to do.

Maan smirked looking at her. He really enjoyed the fear that he read on these people's faces. His ego got its boost every time he sees this look. Not wasting more time, he pulled her on him. He lifted her by her waist and made her sit on his lap. He grabbed her face in one hand

One he thought as he opened the bun of her hair

Two he counted mentally as he slid his hand through her opened hair

Three he whispered as he roughly kissed her when he heard the door of his cabin open. He mentally smirked when he heard a gasp from the person who had just entered the room.

Arnav ji... She called him...as he was immersed in his phone...

Hmmm he said for the nth time. He dint know why he was humoring her at all. Here she was sitting and pestering him to take her from the hospital and he was bearing with all this...

Pls... hume yahan nahi rahna... She pleadedto him for the nth time. (Pls I don't wanna stay here)

Arnav looked up... Dekho Kushi.. tume yahan rahna hai.. atleast kuch time ke liye... Understand... he said trying not to smile looking at that adorable pout on her pink lips (look Kushi you have to stay here. Atleast for some time understand?)

Par hum kabhi akele me nahi rahe hain... she tried to put on her best puppy dog face as she pleaded...(But I have never stayed alone)

Teek hai.. me bhi yahi rahunga... he offered, not able to refuse that cute look. Just then the doctor came in...(ok I'll also stay here with you)

Mr Raizada... the reports are in... and we need to keep her in observation for two days. She told him... as Kushi looked confused at the doctor...

Ok and how many days will she be required to stay here???? Arnav asked trying no to look at Kushi

Hmm.. thank you.. Arnav said as the doctor left the room

Tho doctor ji ne kya kaha??? Kushi asked expectedly. (So what did the doctor say)

Tumhe aur din yahan rahna padega Arnav told her simply. (you have to stay here for some more days)

Kis ke liye? Hum tho teek hai she asked him as fear slowly crept into her tone. (For what? I'm all right)

Wo log tumpar... hum... He thought the word for observation han kuch janch karna chahte hai. Katam hote hi chod denge . (They are going to) (Yes they are going to do some tests on you. They will let you go after that)

Kushi gave him a horrified look as she imagined herself being cut and tested. She jumped from the bed...

Arnav ji.. bhago.. she cried as she made a dash towards the door... (Arnav ji run) There was no way that she was going to stay in this place... but Arnav was quick. He caught her and held her by her waist...

Nahi .. Chodiye... She screamed as she kicked her legs trying to free herself...(no leave me!)

Kushi.. calm down.. Arnav tried talking...

Chodiye.. hume jana hai... she screamed.. Arnav hugged her closely... and held on till she calmed down...

Kushi sshhh he whispered...

Arnavji.. hume dar lagta hai.. she sobbed... (Arnav ji I'm scared)

Don't worry.. me hun na...

Aap thode na SRK ho... She sobbed and giggled, still in his hug..

Arrey Sharukh Khan... she told him coming out of his hold

Huh??? Arnav was still clueless. He dint know why this topic just came in...

Kushi then giggled as she imagined Arnav as Sharukh Khan... in the meantime, Arnav lifted her up and placed her on the bed. He found her really light. So he reminded himself to talk to the doctor abt her weight tomorrow. He took out his phone to type this as a reminder when he heard her voice again

Aap tho Sharukh ki tara nahi.. Sallu ki tara dhikte ho.. wo.. body guard wala... Coat suit.. she giggled again, remembering her time with her jiji when she saw the movie. (your not SRK but resemble Sallu in bodyguard movie. Coat suit and stuff)

Arnav was again clueless abt this Sallu and bodyguard. But choose to keep quiet as he noticed she was no more trying to run out of the room.

Par aap ke body thoda kam hai... Sallu ki tho bath hi alag hai.. she spoke..lost in her dream world. (But your body is a bit less than Sallu. His is something different)

Arnav raised his brows. What the.. he murmured as he looked at her dazed expression

He had no idea who Sallu was, and presently he dint want to know either... just then he got a call and left the room with a happy Kushi...who was busy remembering all her good times with her jiji and her Sallu movies.

Anjali flinched at the open display of animosity through his eyes. This man was not her Maan. This man was MSK. But how will she explain this to her heart. The pain was so large that it was threating to break the dam of tears that she had held for the past years. NO she reminded herself. She would never give this man the pleasure of seeing her in tears. He had destroyed her life. And now he wants to see her break again. She would never do it. This monster will never see her cry. That Geet was dead. Here, today was Anjali. A much stronger woman and she would not break down before him.

Mr Raizada, her addiction, as we have informed you is not too deep. We believe with proper consoling and your support we can help her. Actually we can cure her. I advise one month in rehab and then 2 therapy classes after. Then we will see. These medicines are to be given to her. The doctor told him. Arnav suddenly felt an unknown sense of relief flood him. He released his breath that he dint know he was holding on to. He was confused with his feeling towards this girl. He nodded his head as he couldn't trust his own voice.
