~Edit~

This is not the edited version, K. But I guess it is your net that has to be blamed. About the update,

This is perhaps the first time they have actually discussed a problem and talked through it rather than resorting to sex in order to draw comfort, sooo proud of them!

Indira, I cannot day I fully understand the motivations behind her actions, but it is clear she has reached her breaking point. Trust Arjun to break even the strongest of women out there, that bas***d. He is also lucky, always has someone or the other cover up for his actions. I am not surprised Arnav blames himself a little, as they say "spare the rod and spoil the child".

But I have to give it to Khushi, she is much younger to Arnav yet she spoke with such maturity and wisdom. A beautiful heart, a perceptive mind and a mature nature, what more can one ask for?

Arnav trusted Khushi's uncanny ability to judge people correctly and in her he found an ally, who he thought he never needed.

That reminded me of Maya's ~Khushi~ - Khushi acts as a foil as well as the perfect ally for Arnav. And so is the case here. They complete each other in every sense of the word. Beautiful. The last scene, including the bit where Bhavna cracks her knuckles made this heart of mine smile and sigh :D

Really felt for Arnav in this chapter, he is a good man with too much on his shoulders, and is having to get his family through all the troubles while his own people let him down. Really, I have said this before and I repeat, he the The man and he is mine :D

EDIT
I really liked this chapter. Indira might be a great woman but she is yet Human. It is completely understandable that she is deeply affected by the circumstances created by her poor excuse of a husband. Her steps remind me of the KBV's concern over shift of power. She in her riled up state thought of the short term case completely ignoring long run impacts of her actions. All I could deduce is that Indira helped Lila in some way and gave her this huge amount to send her off. This way she distanced her from her husband and covered the latter' error. Then there was this mention of her leaving home without notice and returning in a miserable state, is there more to this?

Arnav is upset with the steps she has taken when their intentions were, to cover up Arjun's errs. But the discrepancy was probably caused when Indira wanted to get out of this quickly while Arnav wanted to prevent the incident from affecting the family. I absolutely loved Khushi here, analysing the situation, being the support system for her husband; they did not start right but learnt to fall in love with each other. Beautifully dealt. She was right when she said that they could support and urge them but cannot interfere in their matters.

alas..this was indeed a tough chapter to absorb honestly...such deep thots n statements made on complicated moves and decisions..ofcourse those troubled waters evoke a restless feeling within us when it comes to r family n d urge to keep them into a bond..never let it scatter...😒

arjun has a fair amount of mistakes on his part..n those r such which wont be put right no matter wht...n Indira..though being a strong lady, has her own turmoil lashing into her heart...its noway easy...khushi is right to give her advice yet wt her own pace to make her own decisions..

arnav...boy stay strong..is all i can sy..u alone cant put evrythng right..here...i wish both of them should get into putting n mending things for future.. let d past go...devlop a understanding n awareness in family tonurture togethrness n embrace life...😕

But someone please tell Arnav that even with all the physical demonstration of his love, a woman does need words.

@Bold - Yes, a big fat yes ! I have told her before, what she writes is like a physical expression of deep rooted emotions, and she does it beautifully :)

And R&S Arnav is mine, for several reasons - but he is all mine. Claimed by me long, long back, about 30 chapters back to be honest :D You can have PoL ka Arnav :D

@Italics - I know, he is learning. He speaks less, but when he does it is heartwarming :) Always means what he says :)

Beautiful chapter of bonding between husband and wife...I am so glad for this Khushi's existence in Arnav's life...how amazingly uncomplicated she has become from the first chapter to this...how love has changed both and how beautifully you have captured this journey...

Arnav trusted Khushi's uncanny ability to judge people correctly and in her he found an ally, who he thought he never needed. On realizing her intelligence and perceptive nature, her ability to love her family yet know when to step back; showcased the brilliance of her mind and understanding that lay in her heart.

=> Love you for this! I know Arnav is capable on his own but a woman like Khushi can take him notch higher!
Thank you for giving Khushi the due respect and importance and also equality.

I am finally here with my comment K.

Let me start by saying that this story is way better than PoL in terms
of details, layers upon layers of emotions, the importance of all the
other characters, the many different plots and some really believable
but strong/ screwed up characters.

And amidst all this the story of Arnav and Khushi. Khushi's indifference
and Arnav's love. Khushi's attempts and Arnav's exhilaration, Khushi's
verbal love and Arnav's physical. And their combined dedication and
commitment to their relationship and each other. This love is perfection
at its best. They are flawed yet love the best they know how to. They
know the other is flawed yet accept each other in spite of those.

Their journey! what a journey! You have taken into consideration bloody
everything! Their backgrounds, their connect to their and each others'
families, their personalities, everything and tackled each issue making
them come close. K you are AWESOMEST!

Since the start I was wondering what was so secretive about ArHi
marriage and when you made us discover I though Khushi would flip and
walk out on him but the way you made "Kunju" (I love the name btw)
handle the scene I fell in love with Arnav all over again. That was a
different perspective all together.

Full circle, isn't it? She hated Arnav for the way their marriage was
forced upon her. And they made the most demonstrative and fulfilling
declaration of their love when the reason of her forced marriage was
revealed to her.

The way you handle sex it shows the motive is to express love and not titillate the audience. You are a master at intimate scenes.

I know Twiggy, Liya, Choti and am sure there must be others who are
fighting over this Arnav. I want PoL ka Arnav. This one is too sexually
charged. I tire easily 😉. Tsk tsk gutter. I meant I get tired even when I cook a single dish in the kitchen.

There were so many places I wished I was with the story from the start
so that I could share my thoughts. But jo beet gayi woh baat gayi. Now I
am on your story and here for good. I will comment away henceforth.

But still I love PoL more, bas bataa rahi hoon 😊

____

Both Indira and Bhavna are strong women rendered weak at the hands of the men they love and the family they feel responsibility towards.

I love the silentlove, and strong admirationbetween Arnav and Khushi. But someone please tell Arnav that even with all the physical demonstration of his love, a woman does need words.

Now can anyone blame my queen size ego. Thanks Saiyu, you made my day :)

Beautiful we can see the contrast between both relationships. A very unfortunate situation for Indira, Arjun has no clue what he has

Awesome! Can't wait for the next chapter

I wait for days to check if you have updated and when you do I am done reading it in a few minutes and then the wait begins again...

You are such a brilliant writer handling all the emotions so well. Even the intimate scenes feel so right expressing the way their love is growing and not meant to add some sexual content.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!!!
