Shaina had been staying alone, away from everyone, especially Rathore. She knew how much Rathore hated her, and on his birthday she wanted him to enjoy and have fun, not be angry and stressed because of her. "How many dreams and plans both had made before she went to Italy" she thought with a sad smile.

Flashback

Shaina had been waiting for one hour now, thankfully she was off from work today, she and Rathore had made some lunch plans. Being a very punctual person, she had arrived at time, and the waiter had taken her to her reserved seat. And she had waited and waited, but no Rathore. She tried calling him, but his phone was busy since half an hour. She was getting bored and hungry now. She had drank at least 10 glasses of water while waiting for Rathore, even the waiter looked at her with compassion in his eyes.

"Probably he must be thinking that my boyfriend dumped me," she thought when she caught the look in the waiter's eyes. She glared at him, and he hurriedly went away. She decided to wait for some ten minutes more, and also texted a message to Rathore that she was going if he doesn't come in the next minutes. She was sipping the water when suddenly some men came towards her, and one sat on the chair opposite. His two friends leant on the chair, and were looking at her with malicious eyes. She ignored them, and being a model, she had learnt very well how to fake a passive face in front of people, though she hated and was a bit scared right now. But these men didnt like her ignoring them, and one grabbed her hand to get her attention.

"hello sweetheart, ab hum agaye hein, to phir intezaar kissi aur ka kyun?" he said.

Shaina tried to get herself released but she couldn't. She was really getting tensed, when suddenly someone grabbed that hand holding hers, and gave a punch to that guy. He flew down from the force of that punch. His friends were going to attack the man who dared beat their friend, when suddenly that man showed them his guns. Both three run away quickly as they could, though they had to carry their wounded friends.

Shaina had already guessed who it was, but she was feeling very angry at him. She saw Rathore sit down meekly on the chair opposite to her, and he had a puppy face with a very childish smile.

"Sorry jaanu, you know how my work is nah," he said and held both his ears as an apology. But Shaina kept on ignoring him, though inside she felt like smiling everytime Rathore tried to pacify her. She enjoyed such moments.

"Hmmm, to madam nahin maan rahi hein," Rathore spoke out loudly enough for her to hear.

"Jaanu mujhe maaf nahin karoge, not even for this?" Rathore asked and gave a bouquet of red roses. Shaina took the bouquet but nodded her head negatively. Rathore smiled at Shaina for her doing this, "and what about this?" he said by giving her favorite chocolate. Shaina immediately took that also, but she still nodded her head in a negative way.

"Hmmm, what about this?" Rathore asked by giving her a teddy bear with "I Love you" written on it.

Shaina also took that from him, but now she dared replied him, "Nope, not yet!"

"Itna bhi nacrein theek nahin hein," Rathore said jokingly, " mein kahin dousri ladki ke piche na bhaag jaoun!"

Shaina glared at him, "To jayein nah, yahan kya kar rahe ho?"

"Kya karoun, mujhe ek pagal ladki se pyar ho gaya, ab ouske bina muhje koi bhi ladki interesting nahin lagti hein. Jaanu, narazgi choro nah. What about this?" Rathore said, got up and went to stand near her chair.

He knelt down and said, "Jaanu, tum iss duniya ki sabsein pagal ladki ho, kitna nacrein karti raheti ho, dekho mere bhaal bhi ab have started falling due to you. But i love this pagal ladki the most in my life, i want to spend my whole lifetime with you, muhjse shadi karogi," and pulled out a ring from his pockets.

Like expected Shaina was not indifferent to this, she went straight in his arms, almost making him fall in the process.

She broke the hug, and looked at him with tears in her eyes, "Make me wear the ring, ab itna bhi muhje kahena parega" and waited for Rathore to put that ring on her ring finger.

Following that, both went away without having any lunch. Rathore had taken a half day off, so they went for a romantic drive. They were too happy and in love to feel any hunger. During that drive they had both planned to announce their marriage to Rathore's family. Rathore had told her that he would introduce her on his birthday to everyone in his family, and after that in about one month they'd get married.

Flashback ends

She had left with so many hopes for Italy, and now when she returned everything had completely faded. She no longer knew where her fate would take her as from now.
