What makes you think this part wasn't funny??! It may not have been a riot of laughter all the way through, but that had to change at some point didn't it? Their relationship has to get serious and I just loved the way you did that in this chapter. Both wanting the same thing but neither wanting to be the one to say it as they're still not sure enough of the other. It was a little bit heartbreaking.

The humour was there but toned down, which I loved too as it kept the essence of this story without overpowering what is a subtle change in their relationship.

I also loved the slow build of their physical chemistry...a searing kiss but, again, not overpowering...yet!! 😃

So with three 'loved's in this comment alone, I think I can safely say I sort of liked this chapter 😉 😃
