I watched my little Nidhi & Ratna, Di's daughter playin with Lakshmiji. I smiled, feeling happy at the little family which I never thought would be possible after marrying my Laad Governor at the temple that day. But things change, as do people and their dreams...Just like my Arnavji had changed, and he finally began to dream. As I looked at Lakshimji, I realized that alot wouldn't have been possible with her Highness' Bleating presence. Anjali Di had told me everything...Without Lakshmiji, she wouldn't have been overheard by Di that night at the Mandir (CHAPTER 3) which only proved to Di that something was wrong. And without Lakshmiji, Di wouldn't have been able to get the bhaang into her system, (CHAPTER 5) {(This Di admmitted out of guilt)} which made her Arnavji realize the truth (CHAPTER 6) I shuddered when I realized that if Lakshmiji hadn't woken up Di on that fateful day...! (CHAPTER 9) Oh Lakshmiji, how could I ever thank you? I thought, and realized there was only one way...
-Arnav's POV-
I stared at my beautiful wife, who watched my daughter and niece play with that interefering little goat of Nani's. That pesky goat without which I would not have realized Khushi had gone to the temple that day (CHAPTER 2) and had the first inkling of unease settle into me. Then there was also the fact that my Khushi was talking to the silly goat (CHAPTER 4) which was the second time Ihad felt something was amiss. And Di would not have mixed bhaang in my adorable darling's milk if it wasn't for that ridiculous goat (CHAPTER 5) Well, maybe the goat wasn't ridiculous, pesky and silly afterall...? I wondered idly if there was a specific way to thank goats...Maybe I should ask Nani? OH MY GOD! Arnav Singh Raizada? Am I actually thinking about thanking GOATS?! I must get myself checked...Maybe my Khushi's sanak was creeping into me too...!
I saw Khushi getting up, and come back after ten minutes with basket, which layed infront of that ridicul- um, HELPFUL goat... The goat sniffed, and attacked the basket, which Khushi watched smilingly. "Shukriya Lakshmiji!" she said.
I stared at her, wondering if she was alright, and realized then, that she'd been thinking on the same lines as me.
In that basket, was an assortment of grass and fruits. Well, I need not look for a 'specific way' now did I?
I felt an urge to go hug my adorably crazy wife. I looked around warily, to make sure no one was there, and saw the kids playing there. Not a good time, I thought annoyedly.
Just then, I hear Di call, "Ratna! Nidhi! Breakfast...!"
Impeccable timing Di! I thought, as I watched the kids leave. I slowly walked to Khushi and hugged her from behind, and kissed her neck.
She whispered reprimandingly in a shy voice. "Arnavji!"
I turned her around and kissed her, feeling the warming up of cheeks against mine.
We broke apart for air, and I whispered, "I love you Khushi..."
"I love you too Arnavji..." she whispered back and hugged me.
There was a beuatiful silence around us, as our words hung in the air. A serene and tranquil atmosphere------*bleat*--------until that GOAT bleated...
Aargh! I take back my words...It really IS a stupid goat...RIDICULOUS ROMANCE KILLING goat...!!!!
