wonderful!! and am so sorry 4 not reading the last 2 parts when posted. But was so busy that i just came and left on those days and just got to read the updates..

anyway omg the hell Khushi has been through is truly heartwrenching:((( poor poor Khushi!! she even lost her baby cz of him!!

anyway i like how Khushi is independent and having a career of her own in this story..and more than that love how she has taken her life and its decisions in her own hands and is dealing with them in her own way..
though personally i think she is better off without Arnav and with someone who would really love her. cz for me love means trust..

anyway u have created an amazing story!! very different and unique!! I love reading its updates!!!
keep writing!!😳

Woah! The divorce thing was really a masterblaster!!!
But still I did not get a clear picture of why Arnav ended up in drinking and hurting her physically which led to her broken collar bones?
I dont get the exact picture of what they fought about on that night?

"You are giving divorce..is that you final resolve?"

" No other options, I tried in every possible way to be with her, but I failed, moreover I have been unfaithful.."

"Oye chhad yaar...human being are capable of making mistakes..damn ..9 years of marriage..is it that easy ?She forgot everything..what you did for her...?She only remembered your single mistake in life? "

"She is not to be blamed yaar.."

"Then who is to be blamed? Did you marry her forcefully? Why didn't she oppose 9 years ago, whom you are saying Shyam? Don't I know ,over the years what you did for her..?"

"When I was planning to marry some other girl, I was ready to leave her, just because she asked divorce, now I will remind her about our 9 years of marriage ..don't you think it is unfair?"

"Yaar..that was your mistake..one single mistake.., as a spouse one must have that much compassion to ignore that..I am not telling that only girls are supposed to forgive,yaar we deal so many cases..where the husband is also ready to forget everything and..you know...and Shyam teri ghalati k pichhe Anjali ki bhi kuchh zimmedari hai..can't she see that?"

"She is at fault that is true, but for that the gravity of my wrong deed will not be lessen, she wasn't unfaithful, I am, she was not spending her time with some other man...you see the difference,.."

"Tell me..how is the scene between Arnav and Khushwant..I mean is there any chance that Arnav will divorce her..you liked Khushwant..right..then you can marry her..you wanted to..isn't it?"

" Neeraj..that was a blunder made by me..I don't want even to be reminded about that..and..as far Arnav is concerned..he loves Khushwant..and Khushwant also loves him.."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah..else why she would be that much patient with him..? I have seen her yaar..what she has done for Arnav.."

"Don't you feel bad?"

"Why? I mean I am happy for Arnav , he loved someone..and the love is very much reciprocated..may be not in a conventional way..at least someone is happy ...that's very important.."

"You are saying if Khushwant wouldn't love Arnav then she wouldn't have been that much patient with him..what about you?What took you 9 years to be unfaithful? What stopped you? Shyam..one mistake can overshadow all your feelings ? So easily?"

"Neeraj..I could not protect her yaar..because of me she lost our child..if I wouldn't have been unfaithful,things were perfect..and moreover..I don't love her anymore.."

"Shyam ,please..tell these things to someone else..she is your wife damn it..this is tough time..this is a test for both of you..."

"Neeraj..let it be..I don't want things to be stretched.."

"Payal...Paaayal...where are you...?"

Payal entered in bedroom.."What is it? Why are you shouting..?"

"Just like that..come..sit with me.."

"You don't have to go office?"

"Later, I need to ask you something.."

"How is everything between Bhai and..."

"Nothing..just usual..I think things are getting normal..in fact..yesterday.. Jethjee took her to Doctor.."

Akash raised his eyebrows .."So?"

"To gynecologist..Khushi told me that..Jethjee wanted to know when they can have a child..you know Khsuhi's condition..that's why he took her to clinic.."

"Khushwant went with him?Are you serious..?"

"Hmmm.."

"That's great..waise..I think ..we should also think about ..you know..what I mean.."

"Khushi is not well..and if she gets pregnant now..again..you know how much care she will need.."

"For that you can't have child..?Come on..Nani is there..Dadi is there..Mom, Di..if necessary we will keep a 24 hours nurse..what you are saying..cannot be an excuse.."

"Hmmm..will think about it..now get ready for office.."

Anjali was seated with a bent head..Adhiraj was staring at her.She came again, to meet him.Adhiraj held her hand, said.."Anju.."

Anjali started to shed tear.."Shh..don't cry..I can't see you crying anymore..", Adhiraj said..

"I just can't believe it...that you are here..again..why did you leave me.."

"Because I am an idiot..."

"I don't know ..why..I just couldn't stop myself..?"

"So, Ranisahiba..finally , you got the love of your life."

Anjali was shocked to see her husband.."Shyam..what are you doing..here?"

"Was feeling alone, that is why came to see this crowd..didn't think that you will be here..how is everyone in house?"

"Fine..he is Adhiraj.."

"I know..who he is..he is the one who left you on your wedding day..how very surprising ..Ranisahiba..he is the man who despised you..for him only you never could accept me whole heartedly..once you see him again..and you forgot everything..you forgot those 12 years..you spent without him..he is holding your hand now..."

Anjali left Adhiraj's hand..

"And you cannot forget my mistake, the single mistake done by me, how easily you threw me out of your life...you forgot those 9 years.. when I lived only for you..you know why..because you never considered me as equal as you..I have been always the one who lived on your charity..no other identity was there for me..he despised you..but still..he is the aristocrat..he is a Rampal...but you have every right to choose..my best wishes for your health and happiness.."

Shyam left that place...suddenly he wanted to cry,suddenly he wanted to cry for his unborn child.When Anjali miscarried..Shyam couldn't express his grief.. because of his own guilt..but today he really missed that unborn..if only he/she would be there..things could have been better...the day before yesterday he was listening to a man who filed a case against a construction company. His wife and one year old daughter died because the building collapsed..he was crying profoundly..today Shyam wanted to cry just like that man..suddenly his heart said,"I cannot take anymore..."

He was checking some files in his office, suddenly from an unknown number somebody called.."Your wife is going to meet her ex-flame..want to see..be there at Saket.."..at first Shyam ignored..then he went, who knows what was the truth. Now Shyam realised that it would be better to ignore the call.

9:00 pm @ Randhawa Mansion..

Anjali came back immediately after the chaos , she was feeling terrible and then she witnessed the fight between Khushwant and Subhadra.Subhadra was constantly insisting to give back those family jewelleries to Khushwant..and Khushwant was on denying mode.

"Khushi..Bahu..listen to me once..what has done cannot be undone ,but remembering those things and making own life miserable , that is also not right ..forget everything..Khushi..please accept these.."

Seeing those ornaments Khushi's injuries started to get uncovered and fresh again...she said in a heated tone.."What should I forget? And why?Give me one good reason?You forgot anything? 12 long years, you remembered each and everything, you left no chance to punish and humiliate me..you renounced the world..still you couldn't forget..my injuries are still fresh ..can't you understand? And I don't want them, is it compulsory to sustain with same jewelleries? I will ask Arnavjee..he will bring me new ornaments..I know that..if tommorow I have children, I will gift them those jewelries when they will get married..I don't need them,those ornaments belonged to Malik family..because there is no Malik family anymore..we all are Randhawa here..please spare me this nonsense..."

Nothing was unseen by Arnav, he just entered and saw Khushi's retaliation..he only called her.."Khushi..what are you saying...?"

Khushi folded her hands and said.."Please Arnavjee..I cannot forget everything ..I am not that liberal..if you people continue to insist me on every single thing ..then how can I live? I am also a human being, there is a limit to my tolerance also..please..have a heart.."...and she cried profoundly...

Khushi's tear was the last thing Arnav wanted to see."Payal..please..take her to the room...please Payal..."..Arnav ordered..

"What is your problem Dadi..? It was you who snatched those things from her, it was given to her by Nani on our marriage..you insulted Nani along with her that time..now what is your problem? Everything will happen according to your wish?Don't you think it is a bit unfair?"

"Arnav..Beta..I am appologising to her.."

"You called her a wh**e,you forgot that? Appology is not enough always..Dadi ..let me make it very clear..I am not going to upset her anymore..I will not let you either..it's taking all my energy and time to win her back..please don't raise the difficulty level..if this time I lose her..that will be forever..you know what does that mean?"

"Arnav..Puttar..it's about the memories of your parents..your mother..to be precise.."

"THEY ARE DEAD DADI..LIVING INNOCENT PEOPLE MUST NOT BE TROUBLED BECAUSE OF THE DEADS..IT TOOK ME LONG TO UNDERSTAND THIS..I ALMOST KILLED HER..YOU FORGOT THAT?I KILLED AN UNBORN..YOU FORGOT THAT?"

"Chhote, don't get hyper.."..Anjali said in anxious tone.

"Let me make it very clear..for the past I am not going to harm my present and future with my wife, if you people don't like that..I give a damn..and I don't want to see her tears because of you..again..I am telling you for the last time..keep that in mind."

As if she was slapped very tightly, Anjali felt, first by her husband..then by her brother..she felt defeated in every sense.

Dinner was a serious affair..Payal informed that Khushi is being very restless ..she wanted to go to Grewal House.she was crying badly.Arnav felt very disgusted.And helpless, why things need to be messed up every time?

Khushi was happy from the evening, she informed Shyam indirectly about Anjali, and Anjali's face clearly stated that she was thrashed verbally.But then the old lady..what was her problem?She couldn't help herself but crying.

11:30 pm @ Khushi's bedroom( Arnav's too)

She was silently crying while laying on bed..Arnav laid beside her, she wanted to turn back..but she could not because of her shoulder.Arnav held her hand .. said.."Khushwant..please stop crying..I am sorry on behalf of Dadi..I promise ..you will not be insisted anymore about those things...I will get you new ornaments..trendy, contemporary..whatever you like..."

"If you don't then also I don't care Arnavjee..I don't want ornaments..but please..I don't want to see those things anymore..please..give them to Di..or any other person..but not to me."

"No..you have to take new ones...else what will you gift our children on their marriage..?"..Arnav said..when Khushi was telling this to Dadi..then Arnav felt himself on seventh heaven.Doctor also said that they need to wait hardly for 4 months..

"What?"..Khushi suddenly smiled with teary eyes..

"You told the same in front of all..forgot already?..So..how many we will have?"

"How many you want?"

"You will give as much I want?"

"Yes.."

"Sure?"

"Yes.."

Arnav laughed..said.."Then..stop crying..don't upset yourself for someone else ..nobody will annoy you , I am assuring you..and tell me..when will you wear the necklace I gave you recently?"

"You said ..when I will trust you..then.."

"You still don't trust me?"

"What do you think?"

" I don't know..."..

Khushi got up from the bed..opened her closet..and fetch the velvet box..and handed it to Arnav.."Aap khud hi pehna do..."

Arnav put it on her neck with a huge grin.."Kaisi lag rahi hoon?"Khushi asked..

"Queen Victoria..."..Arnav said with a smile.He hugged her, he remembered those days when Khushi used to work in his office..all the day Khushi used to be around him..he used to see thousands of expressions on her face, he used to irritate her..annoy her..taunt her..when she got angry, he found many ways to calm her down.Those were golden days...they just lost. Arnav felt a pang of guilt in his chest..

"Arnavjee.."

"Thank you...for trusting me.."

"I always trusted you..that is why I am with you till date..I always knew that this day will come...I mean it.."

"I am sorry ..Khushwant.."

"You will never leave me...right?"

"Not a chance..never ever think about that.."
