A Dark Love
He hadn't said a word to her since they'd left the party venue, some Part of her wanted to ask him why he brought her in the party. Did he know her parents were coming? Did he bring her purposely? But the rest of her wanted to postpone it as there was no mean of all this and beside that after so many days she was happy to meet her parents, she didn't want to spoil her happiness to talk to him.
"Do you want me to take you in my arms and led you towards our room?"His lips thinned as he added sarcasm in his voice and Nupur came out of her trance of thoughts, and turned her head towards him who was standing close to the car door. Anger rushed in her veins and she wished for a moment to give him tight reply but then she shrugged, drew a deep, unsteady breath.
"you don't need to be so concern about me I can walk ." She bit her words slipping out of the car and quickly walked past him before he would give another sarcastic comment. "I'm not going to bear your stubbornness anymore" he turned to look her, His voice hit a low, dangerous note she'd never heard before, she let out a gasp of panic before twitching her lips into tight words, "and you can never get the satisfaction that you want to get doing all this with me", her black eyes narrowing to slits as she gave him an angry glare, turned and took steps filled with anger and indignation towards the door and for her surprise he didn't reply.
He locked the car and turned back, his eyes fell on that place where she was standing a few minutes ago. He drew an unsteady breath and tried to remove her words from his mind which were still ringing in his ears. She might be right as he wasn't getting any satisfaction to hurt her and whenever he tried to get the answer of this question he felt restless'very weak.
Something stuck in his throat and he gasped jerking away those thoughts, As he entered in house he took long strides towards the room but stopped at the doorway thinking something and moved towards his study room where he could get some time alone'He thought.
He didn't know why he accepted the invitation when Mr.Rahil invited him to that party'he knew they were coming there but still he would've taken her there'why? When did he start liking these parties which were not less than A Show'A Show of those people who wanted to show each others their status'to show each other they've more capability to defeat them.
Mayank switched off the table lamp and took long strides towards the window; the cool, night breeze touched the flesh of his skin as he opened the window doors of his study room, the night was dark and silent'a dark-dry desert like his Life. Feeling of loneliness creeping over his heart his lips twitched into an ironic smile'when didn't he feel lonely?---he was just a seven year old child when he had lost the shadow of his parents love. He has the power to defeat anyone but when it comes to his life'he has been lost everything long back'what an irony of fate? A muscle ticked in his jaw as his lips curled into a fake'too weak smile.
Shrugging every thought behind he gave a glance to wall clock,it was almost midnight.he almost had been forgotten he was hell tired---he had needed some sleep'a peaceful sleep,switching off the lights he closed the door behind him taking steps towards their room.
The door squeaked open, and he stepped into the room as usual she had been sleeping now, he breathed walking towards the bed, After allowing himself a brief time to lie in bed and mull over the questions which were raised in his heart finally he drifted into much needed sleep.

She was the one who woke up first and his presence on the same bed near to her now wasn't bothered her much as she knew she has to bear him the whole life and she should accept it'she intake a sharp, shaky breath before sprang out of bed.
She took a quick hot shower and dressed in a light green suit, after closing the door behind her carefully she made her way towards the kitchen, Mrs.Manish had told her yesterday that she was going on two days leave.
She was hungry as she hadn't had anything last night at the party, feeling dizzy and weak and knew if she wouldn't eat anything she might get unconscious .but she knew nothing about this house'till yet she was living like a stranger.she gave a glance around and gave herself sometime to observe and then she drew a deep breath looking for a teapot; and took out it from the small wooden box and lit the stove, took out the milk bottle and some freeze kababs from the refrigerator and finally after searching for a minute her eyes fell on the transparent sugar bottle placing on the top shelf, She lifted her hand to pick up it but it slipped from her fingers and fell, a loud scream pierced the air as it broke onto her feet, "ouch!!!.
Someone screamed in his dream'a painful scream'he rolled onto his bed and again closed his eyes-possibly it was a nightmare'he thought.
"Ah!!!"Another scream and this time it was loud, clear came from the outside of the room--A feminine scream. Suddenly he recalled Mrs.Manish had told him she was going on a leave for two days-there was no one at home except Nupur and Him. Its mean something happened to her'A thought hit with him-His heart thumped faster and he even didn't why? But he couldn't resist'he threw the cover aside and jumped out of bed, he quickly opened the door and slipped out looking around for her.
"Nupur!!!"
His concerned filled almost shaking voice erupted from his lips and she lifted her tears-streaked face at him . He had seen the lines of amusement over her face and knew the reason too,it was the first time when he had taken her name with so much concern or maybe something more.
He gasped and covered his face with the mask of stern expressions stepping close to her who was sitting on the floor holding her foot and blood was oozing from it.
"What the hell were you doing here?didn't you think before doing anything?"
She shuddered at his angry voice but as he trying to touch her foot she swat away his hand. She cried out then, with anger and pain and frustration.
"Don't---I don't need your concern"
She found something strange on his face for a moment as she gazed up into his dark, angry face and it was obvious he was trying to hide something under those rough emotions and for her utter surprise he didn't seem angry at her words but was silent before parting his lips.
"let me see it" His voice was authoritative yet polite and she looked bewildered, "it seems deep wound'let me see it"this time his voice came out like a whisper but soft.
The way in which he spoke, one would think he was showing concern she would be left in peace and could had trusted him, but she had far too much experience with the bitterness,heartlessness of this person that she couldn't have trusted him.Never.
"NO'Don't touch me'stay away from me'I don't need your concern,your help'just stay aw------"
"Shut up"
His angry yet frustrated voice interrupted her and she left the words in midway as she met with his angry glare.
She shivered as he held out her shoulder,staring at her suddenly as if he'd never seen her before. "I don't---I don't need your help----please leave me---I don't---------"
Her words faded in her mouth somewhere as she felt his arm around her waist and then in a mere second he pulled her from her feet holding her in his arms, She was so mad she was shaking--mad enough to spit-- or to kill.she wanted to hit him hard so he would leave her but at the same time she felt relaxed and for a moment she forgot she was injured as he took her in his arms. It was like a shock to her system, her response to such a simple gesture, and she didn't understand why?she was reacting so oddly. The flip of her belly, the hammering of her heart? She must be hungry. Offcourse she was hungry.she shrugged all the odd thoughts.
She found him stiffened as she looked up at his face,there was no expressions on his face'it was expressionless like he made of stone or was pretending.
