CHAPTER 5
recap : khushi declines akshays offer for lunch , and goes to lunch with arnav.
As khushi and arnav were escorted to their table arnav decided to ask her what she thinks of akshay as the way akshay was trying to flirt with khushi didn't sit well with him , as they sat down arnav asked :
" so umm... khushi, what do think of akshay ?? like him ??"
Khushi gave a small laugh as she rolled her eyes and said :
" well he seems like a nice guy , but he needs to tone down on the flirting that annoyed me a little "
arnav did a mental backflip as he said :
" yeah i noticed his umm ... over friendliness too "
khushi gave him a little smirk and said :
" but i thought you were on an important call ?"
ohh god now he was stuck , its gonna look so desperate if she found out he was paying attention to her more than his call but he decided to wing it
" well i was .. multitasking , akshay tends to be a bit of a flirt but he's the best out of all my other friends who own companies , they are just down right womanizers "
khushi said " ohh "
"shall we order ?" asked arnav
"yeah sure , why don't you suggest something ?? i haven't been here before " said khushi
arnav replied saying :
" well you seem like the type who enjoys spicy food so I'm going to suggest the dragon fire chicken , vegetable fried rice , meegoreng noodles and a lemon chicken cause spicy food is not my thing , so we have 2 spicy and 2 non - spicy "
" thats sounds great " replied khushi while arnav gave the order to the waiter
while the food came they began chat about things and they deeded that they would answer at the same time like a game
so first question " favorite book ??"

they both said at the exact same time while they looked on surprised .
next question " favorite color "
"red"
"blue"
to which arnav replied saying " hey what a coincidence I'm wearing a blue shirt while your wearing red :O "
this continued for a while , with both of them laughing uncontrollably at the quirky questions being asked by one another .
When the food came the game ended and they both just chatted normally , arnav began telling her about his job while she listened with utmost attention while she got lost in his molten brown eyes when he finished he looked at her and he couldn't help but smile at the cute expression she had on her face while she was listening to him, boy was this girl something he thought .
Once they came out of their trance , khushi began to tell arnav how she got fired from her job because she refused to fire one of the new interns because he made a small mistake , while lost in conversation with khushi , arnav accidentally took a piece of khushis spicy chicken which led to him starting to cough uncontrollably , khushi immediately got up from her chair and ran to his side patting his back while feeding him water , when he was done coughing she put down the glass and looked into his eyes and bothe were lost in each other for what seemed like centuries but in reality was only a couple of minuteds before the waiter came and asked them if they needed anything else.
they grudgingly looked away and they told the waiter to get the bill , they paid the bill and left .Both of them were in the mood for a walk so they didn't call the car and they began to walk out of the restaurant , taking in the beautiful scenery , thriving in each others presence , the feeling for them could easily be described as heaven as arnav cautiously slipped his hand in khushis as they walked , while khushi smiled at this arnav was happy that she did not pull away .
While they were walking they passed a group of 18 year old boys , they began to whistle at khushi while one of them said " hey babe leave the old man for us come on , we can give you a much better time "
Arnavs hand tightened around khushi's at this while khushi began to stroke his palm with her thumb trying to calm him down while she , said ;
" i wish they would act their age not their who size "
hearing this arnav began to laugh at her innocence and lovable character thinking 'this girl is definitely a wild one '
