CHAPTER 7
Khushi could not stop thinking about her date with arnav the whole day , damn he was HOT but still polite and chivalrous , she couldn't wait to find out more about him and so she went to sleep wondering what new things she would find out about arnav the next time they meet , hmm she was definitely , no doubt about it , taken by him.
Arnav sat at home working on his laptop muttering profanities under his breath because he was so close to kissing khushi , but NO , that damn aman had to call and interrupt him , aman really had the worst timing ever.
He knew that there was something about khushi that made his heart flutter and he couldn't wait to explore it more because he knew that khushi was different and he was over the moon when she didn't come to his office wearing some skimpy little dress to impress him , he was glad that she wore her own style and he admired her for that 😳.
But he could not forget how that damn akshay flirted with khushi and tried to get her to go to lunch with him , it made his blood boil with anger , if akshay EVER tried to steal khushi away form him , he would be a dead man !! and this time arnav promised himself that he's not going to get his insecurities get the better of him , he was going to trust khushi implicitly even though he's had women betray his trust before he knew khushi would never and so he decided to call khushi tomorrow and so he drifted off to sleep forgetting about his work altogether
THE NEXT MORNING
The next day khushi got up early and got ready for work she wore a pink anarkali and caught an auto and went to akshays office building which was just a few buildings away from arnavs , she got out of the auto hoping that she wold see arnav entering his building much to her avail but when she turned around a cute pout on her lips she saw arnav standing behind her giving her a sweet smile .
He had seen her exiting her auto and told the driver to go there , he wanted to wish her good luck for her job , he looked into her eyes and said " good luck khushi , i will pick you up from here by 7:30 for dinner "
to which she blushed and said " thanks , i will be waiting " he gave her a quick hug and walked towards his building
Khushi entered the building and was greeted by receptionist who told her to go up to akshays office
Khushi went up there hoping that akshay wouldn't flirt with her again , god that man was exasperating
. she knocked on the for and entered , akshay came unto her and said in a sickly sweet tone
" ahh khushi you're here i need your help , which tie looks better on me the red or the green , your opinion is VERY important to me " he stressed on the word very !!
khushi rolled her eyes and said
" sir i don't know , perhaps the green "
he replied quickly " ahh just what i was thinking , see how alike we are " he winked and tried to put his arm around her but khushi side stepped him quickly saying " sir do you have any work for me "
He said " umm i need you to type out a letter to mr sharma saying i can't make it to his party because I'm sick and i need you to make sure that the raizada group meeting is on for today at 3 , arnav will be coming for a deal "
khushi blushed on hearing arnavs name and quickly excused herself and left the room , god this was going to be a LONG day and akshay had already started flirting : HAI RE DEVI MAIYYA exclaimed khushi in frustration
PRECAP : arnav boils with jealousy as akshay tries to flirt with khushi during the meeting 😡
