a beautiful girl walked into the bar , she was gorgeous , all eyes turned to look at her , she did not look older than 22 . She walked unto the bar and promptly sat herself down on one of the empty chairs next to a man clad in a black armani suit who seemed to be engrossed in his own little glass of whiskey . she ordered herself a strawberry margarita and waited for her friend lavanya to show up . that girl had no sense of timing at all. she was sipping her margarita when her loud friend showed up and screamed pin her ear

" Hiii Khushi , sorry I'm late i got caught up at work , by the way you're looking gorgeous "

khushi replied " thanks lav , and don't worry i haven't been waiting long "

they continued to talk for a while about the days proceedings while mr armani sat at the bar swiveling his glass of whiskey in total and utter boredom , he seemed quite distressed , maybe it was a bad day at work or maybe his girlfriend pissed him off... god only knows

a young man walked upto lavanya and asked her to dance he was cute and lavanya quickly agreed leaving khushi alone at the bar , it wasn't long before a man approached khushi and asked her to dance , she politely refused but he wasn't taking no for an answer , he began to harass her and tried to drag her on to the dance floor when mr armani spoke up

" if the lady does not want to dance , then leave her alone " he said in a dangerously low voice

the man replied " its none of your business " to which mr armani got pissed of and promptly punched him the face making the man stagger away holding his now broken nose in pain

khushi turned around and spoke to the man she said

" thank you i really appreciate that m my name is khushi n and you are ??"

he turned to her only to meet the most beautiful honey brown eyes he had ever seen , he replied saying

" my name is arnav , nice to meet you "

they began to talk as lavanya came up to khushi and said that she was leaving with the guy who had asked her to dance . they talked about their day and khushi learnt that arnav had just broken up with his girlfriend and arnav learned that khushi had just quit her job . he said

" i would offer you a job at my company but right now all the positions have been filled but i can get you a job at my friend akshays fashion house "

khushi replied " oh my god that is so sweet of you , thank you so much "

they talked for a long time exchanging pleasantries , and khushi made arnav laught for the first time in years .

As khushi got up to leave she turned to arnav and handed him a paper while saying

" i had a really nice time tonight , and i know i just met you but heres my number so call me maybe "

arnav smiled at her and said " not maybe , definitely "

to which khushi blushed and walked away leaving arnav to look at her retreating figure .

hey i really am so glad that at least a couple of you have replied i was feeling kind of down 😛 thank you so much for appreciating my writing and I'm already thinking of a new chapter now😳

CHARACTER SKETCHES

KHUSHI KUMARI GUPTA : a young girl of 22 , happy go lucky always smiling but with a dark past , her parents had died when she was a mere girl of 12 and she was tekn in by shashi and garima gupta , who had a daughter called payal , khushi is very attached to these people

ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA : a self made man of 28 , he has a bad temper and is extremely protective of the people he loves , especially , his di , his mother and his nano , his mother left his father when they were very young and since then he has vowed to never make her sad

PAYAL GUPTA ; khushis sister loves khushi very much , is soft spoken and is currently dating awash singh raizada

ANJALI JHA : loves her brother and husband very much , she is a kind , sweet woman , who would do anything for the ones she loves

SHYAM JHA : Anjalis husband < a very sweet man who loves his wife and brother in law , he is a positive character

AKASH SINGH RAIZADA : arnavs cousin , is a sweet man , currently dating payal gupta

AKSHAY SINGHANIA : he is the owner of singhania fashion house , arnavs friend , and khushis soon to be boss ( antagonist )

CHAPTER 2

KHUSHI , caught a taxi and went home , all she could think about was arnav , he was o sweet and he just made her feel better , she hated to admit it but she was smitten with him already , his eyes were just gorgeous , there were a molten brown which held so much , when she looked into his eyes , ti was liking watching a beautiful sunrise , there was so much that they held. he made her horrible day a good one when he smiled at her , first he saved her from that drunk man and then he offered her a job at his friends company , he was a saving grace , helpful , chivalrous , classically handsome ! WOW !!

When she reached home she plopped herself down on her bed as her mind swam with thoughts of arnav , her phone suddenly buzzed and she groaned in frustration as her thoughts were interrupted , as she opened the message her eyes lit up with happiness , it was a text from arnav he said

" hey khushi , i know it seems kind of desperate of me to have messaged you so fast but i couldn't resist :) please come to my office bulfind tomorrow , AR building and we can discuss your job at my friends company and then if you'd like then maybe could have lunch ?? "

she replied in joy saying " thats sounds really nice , i would love to "

he messaged back instantaneously saying " thats great see you tomorrow , goodnight , sweet dreams "

' goodnight arnav " replied khushi and she fell asleep thinking about her day tomorrow excited as one could be.

ARNAV'S POV

WOW!!! khushi is just so amazing he thought , she lit up his messed up day and made him smile for the fist time in years , she had begun to melt his ice cold heart and he wasn't afraid , he was happy , he thought it was time to move on with his life and think about a brighter future one that could include khushi. She was the most beautiful woman he had seen and he had seen plenty of pretty models in his line of work but none of them interested him with their fake personas and clinginess , but khushi she was different , so young , so innocent , her eyes were so deep they spoke volumes fashioned from the stars, and her skin the color of peaches , he could still smell the roses woven into her ebony hair . he was completely enticed , taken by this woman and he couldn't wait to meet her tomorrow .

he soon fell asleep , his dreams filled with the beautiful smiling face of khushi
