Manu is definitely changed..there must be a huge part to his story in gradschool and all his fluent Tamil speaking..

He. Still likes Nikki...likes her a lot..she is the be who always seems unsure about herself..she has a low opinions of herself quite a bit..she is not as pretty as rima, she can't top the exam etc..but Manu had confidence in her..then and now..

Good start to the convo..is she going to sleep on the floor agin?

Thanks for translating ladies. Manu needs to start speaking her language now; he keeps saying all the nice things in tamil. i can understand her anger still; its hard to forgive so fast: hate commenting on the phone; sorry fr errors; thx 4 update.

I am just speaking aloud to clarify in my mind.

Manu did his Mbbs in manipal which is not Tamil speaking.

He goes to vellore for his MD where he picks up Tamil.

He must have been there near about TN for 5 years I guess, finishing MD and then his internship plus some more because the gap in their not seeing each other is 5 years as niki was n first year and he was in the final year.

Tamil was not his mother tongue but he has become so fluent in it that

A) he has started thinking in it or

B) he only uses it when he does not want the other person to understand, like a secret language to say what you feel as it is.

And my Tamil, I can only try. Mine is worse than manu's. So if he goes all native, I will also have to depend on translations.😆

Hope he is able to build some confidence in Nikki for herself.

P.S:I sectretly wish she learns Tamil just to understand what he speaks without his knowledge so that it will be a shock for him. Maybe she will ask help to learn and as her only hamraaz rightnow is Varun, he might help out.
