Part 2

The sun-rays were peeking into the closed curtains, and Arnav shifted slightly. As the sun-rays hit Arnav's face, he got up and looked to the right side of the bed, and saw Khushi still sleeping. Arnav had the urge to kiss her and cuddle with her. Arnav couldn't deny that he had been feeling some kind of attraction towards her. Something was pulling him towards her. But he knew he was starting to like her. He couldn't! He can't get trapped in love again. He pushed these thoughts aside and went to get dressed for his morning jog.

Khushi soon woke up after Arnav left for his morning jog. She looked at the time and saw it was 6 am. She decided to quickly get dressed and arrange the morning aarti. Khushi got dressed in a dark red and sky blue half saree. She quickly made her way downstairs to arrange the morning aarti when Arnav came back from his morning jog. They collided with each-other. Khushi was just about to fall down, when Arnav held her from her waist to prevent her from falling. They had an eye-lock for about 10 minutes. When Anjali snapped both of them out of their eye-lock. Anjali looked happy as Arnav held Khushi, and thought maybe he's falling in love all over again. Khushi blushed as Anjali teased her.

Khushi finally did the morning aarti as per her routine and her melodious voice captured everybody's ears. As she finished, she gave everybody the aarti and prasad. Khushi and Payal were making breakfast in the kitchen, when Anjali came to Arnav's room to talk to him about his marriage and his wife.

Anjali: Chotte, I need to talk to you

Arnav: Yeah Di, What happened? Are you okay?

Anjali: Im fine, I wanted to talk to you about Khushi..

Arnav rolled his eyes.

Arnav: What is it Di?

Anjali: Don't you feel like you should love her like she loves you? I know you feel some attraction towards her, but you should probably think about at least being friends with her. Both of you are going to spend the rest of your lives with each other. Haven't you seen her devotion towards you and your family? Chotte, you should just let loose. Please don't hang around the past now. Your past is long gone. Please Chotte, she said pleadingly.

Arnav could never say "No" to his Di, not even when she pleads him.

Arnav nodded.

Arnav: I'll try, he replied in a low tone.

Anjali beamed happily and hugged her brother.

Anjali: Thank you Chotte, she said while hugging him.

Both of them went downstairs to eat breakfast. All of the family member sat down in their usual place and Khushi and Payal started serving breakfast to the family members and when Khushi started to serve Arnav his fruit salad, when Akash told him to hurry and eat. Arnav glared at Akash, ate his food.

As Arnav waited at the door for his laptop bag and coat, Khushi came quickly with his laptop bag and coat and gave it to him. Arnav thanked her and kissed her cheek. Khushi was left open-mouthed and her hand went to her right cheek where Arnav kissed her. Khushi was surprised, but she knew he was slowly,very slowly starting to change, but Khushi loved this change. All throughout the day, she was blushing remembering when Arnav kissed her cheek.

Anjali observed Khushi closely throughout the whole day, and saw that Khushi was blushing and knew it had something to do with Arnav. She felt happy that Arnav listened to her. Shyam noticed Khushi blushing, and felt happy for her and Arnav, prayed to God that Arnav changes and devotes his life to his wife. Everyone noticed, but didn't say anything. They were silently feeling happy.

It was a little past afternoon, when Arnav came home to accompany his Di to her regularly check-up. Anjali suggested Khushi, and Khushi instantly agreed. Khushi changed into a pale pink half saree and came downstairs. Arnav couldn't take his eyes off of her. How did I not see her beauty in these 2 months, he pushed these thoughts aside and went inside his car. He saw Khushi fidgeting with the seat-belt. Arnav helped her put on her seat-belt, and a blush crept up Khushi's cheeks as his lips brushed against her stomach. Arnav sensed her blushing, but didn't say anything. Anjali witnessed all this, and felt elated to see her Chotte appreciate Khushi.

As the doctor examined Anjali, Arnav recieved an important call from Aman, and answered it. The doctor told the three of them that everything was normal and scheduled an appointment 3 weeks from now. And the trio went home. Shyam had also come home by then.

Shyam: Rani Sahiba, What did the doctor say?

Anjali: She said everything is normal and scheduled an appointment 3 weeks from now.

Shyam: Oh. Okay. i'm excited for the little one to finally come out.

Anjali: Me too, she replied and hugged her husband. And Shyam hugged her back as well.

Arnav had come home for his sister's doctor appointment and went straight to his room to work on his laptop. Arnav smiled when Khushi sent his sugar-free coffee. Khushi did care and love him. Maybe he was hanging around the past too much. He should love her as much as she loved him. He would make everything better.

Nani had called everyone downstairs in their grand living room for an important announcement. Soon, everyone came down to hear the announcement.

Nani: I have decided that Arnav & Khushi should go on a honeymoon, as they never went on one, because of his work. But now, as his workload has decreased, I think we should send them on a honeymoon in Paris. Their honeymoon would be for a month. Do you have a problem Chotte?

Everyone instantly agreed and suprisingly Arnav agreed. And Khushi agreed while blushing, when everybody teased her. Khushi went to their room to start packing. Khushi finished both of their packings as their flight was tomorrow at 12 pm. Arnav entered their room and finally told her that he was going to love her back the way she loves him and try to be a good husband to her.

Khushi felt happy that he was going to try to be a good husband towards her and try to love her back the way she did. She couldn't ask for more. She served dinner happily to other family members. And she sat down next to Arnav and ate happily. As she entered their room, Khushi went to change into her night clothes. As she returned, Khushi saw Arnav getting ready to sleep. Khushi layed down on her side of the bed and pulled the blanket on herself and Arnav too. She realized he removed the pillows that he always puts. Maybe he's actually changing for good. She felt elated. Throughout the night, both of them slept while cuddling each other.
