Lavanya had finally woken up when her medicine effects were gone. Her body started aching again. She felt vulnerable, her health was going down low, and she can't do anything about it. She saw the news and saw that Arnav and Khushi came to Paris for 4 months because of their meetings and business talks about AR Group. A part of Lavanya had gotten happy, but a part of her realized that she was going to kill Khushi, so she needed to think. Her brain was as small as a nut.
Arnav woke up from his sleep and looked up to his sleeping wife. He slept in her neck last night. Arnav sat up straight and turned a little to her side and touched her stomach lovingly. He smiled and kissed her belly button. Khushi woke up when she felt Arnav's lips on her stomach. She smiled at him and his sweet gesture. Arnav smiled at her and kissed her lips as sweet as ever, but gentle. Khushi blushed and left to get dressed. After 20 minutes, Khushi came out wearing a off white and light peach faux chiffon saree. Soon Arnav got dressed and wore his usual black 3 piece suit.
Arnav ordered his bodyguards to stay outside the room and make sure there is no intruder with her. Khushi protested to come with him, but he looked at her in his ASR mode, and Khushi had no choice but to agree with him. Arnav told her he would return after 6 hours. He gave his servants good instructions, and he kept tight security around him and outside his suite where his beloved wife was sulking.
After Arnav left, she had nothing to do. She decided to go shopping. Khushi was still wearing the same saree and went shopping for the family and to pass time. There was tight security around her when she went shopping. As Khushi came back from her shopping, she saw Arnav in his casuals and working on his laptop. Khushi saw Arnav and hugged him.
Khushi: Humne toh socha tha ke aap late aayenge, she said while getting out of the hug. ( I thought you were coming late.)
Arnav: Haan, par meine kaam jaldi khatam kar liya tha, he replied. (Yes, but I finished my work early.)
Khushi nodded her head and went to freshen up. She came out wearing her midnight blue faux chiffon saree. When she came out, Arnav was mesmerized by her beauty. She called out to Arnav, and insisted to cook dinner, when Arnav said no, Khushi used her puppy dog pout, and Arnav couldn't help but say yes to her. When Arnav said yes, Khushi beamed happily and went to the kitchen and cooked dinner.
At the Raizada Mansion, Shyam had left overseas to save his client from pleading guilty in front of the judge. Akash and Payal had visited her house for a while to be with her family. Anjali was left all alone, but was relieved to talk to Khushi and get the news that they were returning in a week, not 4 months. Anjali was happy that she at least had someone to talk to other than Nani, and Mami.
Khushi and Arnav ate dinner and told Anjali that they were returning in a week. But Khushi was sad to know that Anjali didn't have anybody to talk to, so she made sure that she calls up Anjali everyday. Khushi and Arnav slept peacefully in each other's arms.
Lavanya was sad because she couldn't make her plan in action. Probably after a year, she would be able to kill Khushi and capture the Raizada family in her hands. But she needed to think her plan through and make her plan in action. Which was after a year! She cursed her fate because of everything she got put through. She wanted fame, money, and fans. But she has them. She wanted something more than that.
Rahul was Lavanya's best friend ever since childhood. he met her in the hospital. Lavanya smiled when she at least had a good friend to talk to. Rahul was in love with Lavanya ever since he met her in during her childhood days. Lavanya never knew about Rahul's love for her. But she knew that he would come and rescue her whenever she needed help. Rahul just hoped that one day she will notice his love for her and love him back just like he loved her with all his heart. He knew Lavanya was a good girl with a good heart. Probably Lavanya was obsessed with Arnav Singh Raizada. But he had heard that he had a wife of five months who was pregnant with his child. Rahul sent his best wishes to the couple. Rahul saw that Lavanya wasn't happy at all. But he still managed to crack jokes and make her feel better. It was the least he could do, because she didn't love him. Rahul saw a shooting star, and he wished that Lavanya gets her happiness and loves him just like he loved her too. Rahul fell asleep in his room thinking about Lavanya.
It had been 2 weeks since Arnav and Khushi had returned from their Paris trip. Arnav still remembered the fateful day that he almost lost his wife and child. It was the horrendous day of his life.
It was their last day in Paris, and Khushi had decided to go sightseeing in Paris one last time. Arnav came with her. But they didn't know that someone was following them with a gun in his hand. He was muscular and had a straight face all the time. Lavanya had hired this man to kill Khushi, and to make sure she is dead. Completely dead.
When Khushi was alone in a store looking for a good shirt for Arnav, the man decided it was his chance to kill her. The man fired the gun, and BOOM! Khushi gasped at what she saw and heard. The man cursed t himself for firing the sales lady. Khushi screamed loudly, to which Arnav started running faster towards her. Arnav looked at the person who was trying to run away but his bodyguards caught him.
Arnav had led a terrified and frightened Khushi to their hotel suite. He made her sleep and made his bodyguards to watch over her.
After much interrogating, the man revealed his name was Iqbal. He was Lavanya's friend, and she was the one who hired him and to kill Khushi. All he wanted was money. Arnav clenched his fists and punched him hard in his gut. The man was on the floor, gasping for breath. Arnav grabbed his collars tightly.
Arnav: HOW DARE YOU! If you ever try to kill her, you will face serious consequences and I mean it!
Arnav punched the man hard once more in his face, and the police took him away. Arnav was fuming in anger. He quickly made his way to the hospital and started to walk furiously towards Lavanya's room. He pushed the door open and walked in to see Rahul and Lavanya laughing. He was furious, his wife had almost got killed and there she was LAUGHING?! He wasn't going to spare her.
Both of them stopped laughing, and Arnav requested for Rahul to go out of the room and Rahul obeyed him and walked out of the room. Arnav closed the door and Lavanya smiled her sweet poison smile.
Arnav: What is your problem?
Lavanya: Is she dead yet? I knew you would come back to me. Ofcourse you would. I love you and I didn't want that "Khushi" to take everything that I had, so I killed her. I'm happy that you came back to me.
Arnav couldn't take anymore and slapped her 2 times on both of her cheeks. Hard. Extremely hard. Both of her cheeks were red. The slaps made a sound. But Arnav didn't care.
Arnav: How could you?! Didn't you know that Khushi was pregnant, but you still decided to kill her. Why can't you just leave me alone? I hate you. You better get that into your thick head. I LOVE KHUSHI! ONLY HER! You betrayed me. We're over. We've been over ever since. What's your problem. Please I beg you, please leave me alone. Arnav folded his hands infront of her. I beg you, please leave me alone. You almost killed my child and my wife. I will never forgive you for this. LEAVE ME ALONE! I'M TAKEN! YOU'RE JUST OBSESSED WITH MONEY & FAME!!! LEAVE ME ALONE! If you ever try to mess with my family or my wife, you will face serious consequences. I mean it. After saying that, Arnav left.
Lavanya cried and Rahul heard the whole conversation and tried to comfort her, even though she was not worth comforting for. Rahul asked why she messed with Arnav, but Lavanya said she tried to get him. But she failed once again.
Arnav had come back to his room, to find Khushi awake and when the door opened, Khushi ran to him and hugged him tight. Arnav hugged her back. He soothed her with comforting words and kept hugging her. They reached the bed, and Arnav made her fall asleep once again. He fell asleep too hugging her tiny waist tightly, not letting her go.
**Flashback Ends**
Arnav jerked out his memories and got dressed quickly to go to his meeting. He saw Khushi laughing while talking to Laxmi - the family goat. He smiled watching her laugh. He proceeded to go downstairs and went to his usual place to sit in the breakfast table. He watched Khushi sit next to him and they both smiled at each other. Everybody started eating their breakfast having good and happy conversations to keep Khushi happy and smiling.
It was late evening when Arnav returned home. He suddenly remembered that tomorrow was Khushi's doctor appointment. He made sure he called the office to not come in tomorrow. he went upstairs to their room, and saw Khushi organizing their closet. Her back was towards him. He quietly put his stuff on the bed and tiptoed towards her. He hugged her tightly and nuzzled in her neck. Khushi sensed his presense and his footsteps coming in the room, but she didn't jump. She smiled and felt content in her life.
Khushi: Aapka din kaisa gaya?, she asked cutely, while putting away her sarees.
Arnav: Theekh tha, he said while still hugging her.
Khushi: Hume khane ki tayariya karni hain, she said when he was still hugging her.
Arnav: Hmmm.
Khushi: Uffo chodiye na. Koi dekh lega, she said while pushing him off.
Arnav pushed her body towards him and said no and started kissing her neck. Khushi tried hard pushing him off, but he continued to kiss her neck and pleasure both of them.
Just then, Payal came up to their room, and called them to dinner. They immdiately pulled apart and went downstairs. Khushi's cheeks were still red. Everyone teased Khushi, but overall dinner was a good affair.
Khushi was fixing his things when Arnav came out of the bathroom shirtless and only in his sweatpants. Khushi gasped and blushed seeing him shirtless. Arnav came up to her and hugged her. He started kissing her face and neck. He laid her down on the bed. He came up on top of her. They made sweet, passionate love all night, with the moon shining upon them and witnessing their unconditional love.

Khushi woke up at the crack of dawn. She opened her eyes, and looked towards her left side. Khushi smiled looking at Arnav sleeping like a baby. She was hoping for a baby boy, just like Arnav. She couldn't wait for the little one to finally come out. Khushi remembered that she had a doctor's appointment at 3 in the afternoon. She got out of bed and went to shower and get dressed.
Arnav soon woke up when Khushi came out of the bathroom. He saw Khushi dressed in the saree he bought for her. She wore a magenta and turquiose satin saree. She looked beautiful and adorable in it. Arnav smiled and got out of the bed wearing his sweatpants. He hugged her and smiled and kissed her cheek. She smiled at him, and kissed his cheek too. Khushi knew he was becoming naughty again, so she quickly pushed him in the bathroom with both of them laughing.
Khushi did the aarti as usual and started to give everybody prasad.
The Raizada family ate their breakfast in peace and happiness having small talks of happiness. Nani suggested that they have a havan to keep this happiness and Khushi was given the task of bringing Arnav into the puja. Khushi was sure Arnav would listen to her and come with her. Breakfast was a good affair for the Raizada family.
Soon it was afternoon, and Khushi and Arnav went to the doctor's office with tight security surrounding them everywhere. Arnav held her by the waist and led her to the doctor's office. The doctor checked her and their baby.
Doctor: Don't worry. Everything is normal and fine. Please keep her happy at all times and make sure she doesn't work around the house or anything like that. Also, make sure she doesn't lift anything heavy, the baby could get affected. Please make sure, she eats healthy and fruits and vegetables.
Arnav nodded and said he will make sure. Arnav and Khushi went back home and Khushi went up to their room to rest.
Anjali was now in her 8th month and the family were preparing for her baby shower. Everyone made sure Khushi and Anjali did no work at all.
Khushi and Payal were welcoming guests. Everyone was occupied in doing something for Anjali's baby shower. Khushi was happy for her sister-in-law. Everything in their life was going great. Khushi felt happy and content and prayed to God, that their happines stays.
