The sincerity in Mausi words brought tears to Pallavi's eyes. 😭 She had a hard time controlling her emotions. She remembered how her mother would talk to her, explain things to her. Mausi had the same tone in her voice. 😊

Few days later…Pallavi joined a small private company as an assistant 😊😊

Gradually both settled & their life fell in sort of a routine…Khushi got admission in Ranvijay's college…Khushi also had a fetish for designing so she also got involved with Prachi in her boutique…. 😃😊

Pallavi knew that Dev was being a good guardian to them, 😳😊 he made sure they never have a reason to complain😃 … but still, they both were not very comfortable in talking…😛 Also… both girls never met the lady supposed to be Mrs.Dev Khanna😛😉 , they didn't came across her after their first day in Mumbai. Even Nobody in this house ever mentioned her, and the girls never felt the need to bring up the topic of Mrs.Khanna 😛 …

In these three years they found out how famous their new family is.😃😃 They were in the media every other day…more than family how Dev Khanna was popular & an influential person.😳😳

Dev got to know, through his conversations with massi & kabir & also could notice how much impact the girls had made on his family 😊😊 … Every one in family simply dotted on the girls…😃😃 At every party and to every guest Kabir mentioned having two brothers & sisters 😆😆 … instead of just Dev & kabir…

Kabir also shared with Dev…pranks both girls played on him & Rj 😆😆 … also how khushi- Rj njoying pulling each others leg…how they fight among themselves like kids…😆😆 inspite of knowing each other only short while back…

Dev was amused coz…he knows Rj has always been a little shy & elusive when it came to talk with girls…Ranvijay might be a chatter box but when it comes to dealing with girls he always became speechless…😆😆😆

Kabir also joked how ladies have a majority in the house & they force only two men in house to watch some stupid daily soaps & emotional films on weekends…😆😆😆 they don't get to watch their favourite cricket matches…

Kabir—tujhe aakar dekhna chaiye Dev how the ladies bully us innocent boys…😆😆 (dev just smiled)…pehle sirf maa aur prachi hokum chalati thi…now these two also… 😆😆 meri aur Rj ki kya halat hoti hai…u cant even imagine…specially jab inke saath shopping jana padta hai… all ladies always gang up on us two innocent boys 😆😆 …kabhi kabhi aajaya kar…atleast humari team mein koi hona toh chaiye…to compete 4 ladies… hum do bechare akele pad jate hai…

Dev(just shook his head)—main aabhi jaunga…tab bhi it will only be 3 men …

Two days later

After seeing off Rj at airport ... Pallavi reached office sharp at 8.30 😛😛 she still remembered what Mrs.Verma told her 😆😆😆 He is a strict, rude, wants employees to be in office sharp at 9am..no late comers...Mrs. Verma gave her a long list of Dos & Donts 😆😆😆

Pallavi was a bunch of nerves when she arrived…😆😆😆 Dats why she decided to come half a hour earlier then her new boss so she could adjust her desk the way she likes it… She had heard about his reputation of a shrewd businessman and a ruthless and very demanding boss. 😳😳 The thought made her feel uncomfortable.

Its 9am & her boss is still not arrived…. 😕😕 After waiting for 15 minutes she decided to go in to his office. 😛😆

Pallavi(thot to herself)--- Maybe he is late…

She entered the office to find an exact replica of the study at the Khanna house 😊😊 ….The same furniture, the same chairs, the same sofa. She saw a jacket on the sofa. She picked it up and hung it back on the chair.

Pallavi—shayad kal bhool gaye honge…😕

Suddenly she heard a noise in the bathroom... She turned around and came face to face with her new boss… 😳😛

Dev (surprised to see her so early 😲 …Rj had already informed him that she wud be joining him as PA) --Good morning miss Kapoor…

Pallavi(shocked to reply ...coz she wasn't expecting him to be here this early)—ermm Good morning Mr. khanna … aap yahan itni jaldi…😲😲 …(bit her tongue…realizing she said too much afterall its his office he can come anytime) I mean ….aapko kuch chaiye…Coffee tea…shall I send something….

Dev just nodded—coffee wud be good…

Pallavi (she could not stop thinking this while she made his coffee)—Mr khanna kab aaye…😕 8.30 se toh main yaha hoon…Mrs.Verma ne kaha tha woh 9 baje aati thi...& Mr. Khanna had no problem with that 😕 shayad jaldi aagaye honge… let it be… (she finished making coffee)

She also got the diary with appointments from her desk and knocked on the door...As she entered the office. He was sitting behind his desk…already too much into work… She placed the coffee on his desk and apprehensively looked at Dev.

Pallavi cudn't help noticing he looked very tired and it seemed like he did not shave today 😳😛 .

Pallavi (to herself) –ghar se jaldi mein nikle honge…(To dev) ermm Mr.Khanna your coffee. Would you like to discuss your appointments now or later?

She worked all day in her own cabin. Dev would call her on the intercom when he needed some details, so she did not see him the rest of the day, and he did not have any meetings till 3pm for a change.

At half past 2 she went in his office to remind him about his meeting he had half a hour later…

She was surprised… 😲😲 He had shaved…and he was wearing a different suit…all ready to go… 😳😊 she gave him the project file he would need, with her views and she had made notes on important points.

As soon as he left she sighed in relief ..😆😆 ..first day itself she is feeling like over worked & completely exhausted

Pallavi(to herself)-- ek din mein yeh halat hai...do mahine kaise niklenge 😕😕 ...Kaha fasa gaye Rj upar se doesn't get an appreciation from boss *sigh* let it be...mujhe kaunsa humesha kaam karna hai inke saath 😆😆

As she reached took the file she needed and started working…While working she noticed the information in it was incomplete… She needed another file which, was in Dev office, to complete here work.. she looked at her watch. It was abt to be 8… He would not be in his office, she did not see him come in. She decided to make some coffee first, in case he would come in early…

She stood in front of his office and out of habit raised her hand to almost knock on the door. 😆😆

Pallavi(smacked her head)--Tu bhi pagal hai pallavi, kiske liye knock kar rahi hai? 😆😆😆 For the ghost who lives inside after Mr. Dev khanna goes home?' she laughed at herself. 😆😆

She went inside and turned on the small light on the desk and looked for the file.

As she was leaving ...she realised to switch off the light...as she turned around.

She stopped… 😲😲 For a moment it seemed like she could not breath …She turned white, ready to scream, like she indeed had seen a ghost…. 😲😲
