Hey guys. Here is the first chapter of this FF. Please let me know if I should continue.
Living the Dream
Chapter 1
"Psst."
She looked up from her paper.
Thinking she'd imagined it, she shook it off like a fly and returned to her paper.
"Pssst."
It was louder and more persistent this time.
This time she turned around to find the owner of the sound.
Find him, she did. He was sitting right behind her.
The first thing that shocked her was the person who had called her.
She had barely gotten over the initial shock, when she was hit by another realization.
He was calling her in the middle of the Economics exam.
The nerve of him! She thought bitterly. Doesn't he realize that we would be screwed if we got caught?
Apparently he didn't.
She looked around for the supervisor. He was at his desk, busy reading an old newspaper.
She whipped her head back around.
"What?" she mouthed, somewhat angrily.
He stuck up three fingers, indicating that he wanted the answer to the third question.
Does he really think that I'm going to help him? she thought, skeptically.
"Please!" he begged silently.
She sighed.
"The answer is Giffen's paradox." She said.
His eyes sparkled for a second and without a word of thanks, he went back to his paper.
She stared at him for a heartbeat, before shaking her head and returning to her own paper.

He walked out of the hall as if he had no care in the world.
I wish! He thought. I wish I didn't have a care in the world.
True, it was the last day of the exams. But my problems are way bigger in magnitude.
Shaking his head, he decided he couldn't let the problems get the better of him. So slapping on his best fake smile, he joined his group of friends.
They were discussing their plans for the night. It was the last day of their exams and they planned to de-stress as much as possible.
He suddenly had a brain wave.
Climbing on the podium in the atrium, he announced-
"Party tonight! At my place. Every body's invited!
All the students cheered loudly. He walked back to his group of friends where he was met with pats on the back and hi-fi's.
"Nice idea!" said his best friend, Kriya excitedly.
"But why did you invite the entire college?" asked Nilesh.
"Because everybody else deserves to have fun as much as we do!" he said. And plus I need all the distraction I can get.
They chattered on, excited about the party.
Suddenly his gaze fell on her.
He didn't know her name. But he had forgotten to thank her when she had helped him earlier during the paper. He called out to her-
"Hey! Wait up!"
