Another update... so early... wow.
The tale is getting more gripping after the entry of the mysterious General Jha. Eagerly waiting to know more about the curse of General Jha.
"You'll carry me to love too, Lightning………. to the end of this wretched curse,"
reminded me of nani's wise words "Everyone is a fool, Fools with reasons." I hope there is a convincing reason for his belief about that khushi is the cure for his curse. I mean, he met her only two times few weeks back, got few reply letters from her and now he cannot do without her? Really?
Lighting is a female horse? ... Why? Im curious...
As you mentioned, the loyalty of both horses to their masters may be the same. But the bonding and the level of understanding between the two duo is definitely different. Shadow understands his master's thought process and reacts accordingly which is again perceived by Lord Arnav. But about Lightning im not sure. Both the horses are loyal but Shadow is much smarter...
Lightning was a horse willing to carry her master to any end he wanted to go, even to the moment of his death.
Thats the difference between Shadow and Lightning.
Lightning acts according to her master's command. Shadow reacts according to his master's temperament.
This is completely my point of view about the horses and how i perceived their characters.
