Part 39
It was late night when Chandni tried to sleep peacefully as her day went well without being much bothered by anyone around her... she was happy that her Grandmother went to Sarita's place for some religious ceremony along with her Mother and Shama...
Smilingly she read her favorite book and sipped her coffee... she always enjoyed being alone, without bothered about anyone in the house...she ate dinner early as she wanted to listen to her favorite instrumental music...
She changed into her nightgown... composed but tensed about somethings that seemed crucial and mysterious... she lay on the bed looking at the ceiling, with a book on her chest... she slowly closed her eyes, unaware of the next moment that would change her peaceful environment into a harsh and violent atmosphere... it was almost impossible for her to even imagine what she would face in another instant of her life...
After some time...
She felt rough hands around her neck as if someone would strangle her any minute... she opened her eyes and found herself forcefully being attacked by an unknown force...though she couldn't see anyone around but she strongly felt someone wanting to throttle her...
she tried to get up from the bed but her efforts were wasted... she coughed... it was unable to breathe anymore...screaming and yelling was almost impossible, her feet rubbed against the bed, her hands tried to free from the force that was strangling her neck... another second she freed herself somehow and jumped off the bed...
Each part of her body trembled... "who is there???" she spoke lowly, touching her strained neck... tears floating her eyes... her body sweated as she was physically trying to fight with the unknown power, Chandni was sure that there was something around her...something very close to her...
She tried to open her door...it seemed jammed... "Kamla...Kamla..." she tried to call the servant who was sleeping downstairs...but she did not heard any response... Chandni glanced around but she couldn't see anything...
her eyes were wide open because of the fear, the pain she felt in past few seconds...every breathe she took scared her... she thought of calling her Mother '...
she started searching for her phone when she was pushed forcefully on the floor badly hurting her knee...she could see the blood from her left knee... unable to get up she turned and looked around miserably...she somehow felt it was the end of her life...she was too weak to fight with the power that wanted to kill her...she felt some unknown shadow coming closer to her...when from out of the blue she heard him... "Chandni...Chandni..."
she smiled with a sigh of relief...as if he had come to rescue her... she felt the shadow moving away... unable to get up she tried to shout for help but she couldn't as if something struck in her throat... scared from the incident she felt numb...for some period her eyes couldn't visualize him standing in front of her...

After some time...
She found herself lying on the bed...he was holding her hand sitting next to her... "what happened??" she could hear him asking her again... she looked at her injured knee with a plaster... Veer may have helped her plaster her knee with a white bandage... she smiled at him, her devil came to save her'... "Veer"
he touched her cheek...she seemed pale, feared of something... "Veer...i...fell..."
"i know you don't open your eyes and walk..." he spoke as if completing her sentence...but she didn't fell herself... "Veer...i...i '.was"
"Chandni...sshh" he placed his hand on her mouth not letting her speak anymore...Veer assumed her falling off on her high heel sandals placed in the centre of the room...
she somehow felt dizzy, as if some force left the impact on her before leaving...she felt as if she carried heavy weights around her... overcome by tiredness she didn't stopped him when he came towards her lips...
the moment his lips touched hers...she felt relaxed...she closed her eyes and only felt his touch... she wasn't unconscious, she could feel his embrace around her nervous body... slowly he climbed on her...
her hands ran slowly in his thick, tousled hair... his kiss was gentle... his hands touched her shoulders on both sides...'..because of the terrible incident she felt so scared and insecure that she tightly hold him and pulled him more closer almost putting his entire weight on her tiny body...
It was only when she realized that he was lying on her when her knee felt a sharp pain because of his weight on her... "ouch" she cried out... moving him away...
he lay on her side, realized about her injured knee... "is it painful?" he asked her casually making her annoyed...
"what else do you think Veer...do I shout for fun??" she looked angrily in his eyes that seemed to enjoy her pain...
"you started again???" he shook his head in despair... while slowly getting up from the bed...
Chandni felt relieved as he got up from her bed without insisting '... she saw him taking out the blanket from the cupboard...she was happy that he understood she needed one as she felt cold... "thanks Veer" she said while he placed the blanket on her...
but her smile turned into frown when she saw him climbing inside the blanket...
"Veer...what are you doing ????" she shouted angrily...
Veer smiled while lying next to her "sleeping with you sweetheart...what else "
that was enough to arouse one more angry spark inside her... "what???"
"of course...do you think I work for free??" he teased her again making her furiously turning red...she could never understand him...he was more painful then her knee injury...she wanted to hit him, to move away from him but the physical pain made it impossible to even turn around on the other side...
"Veer...it doesn't look good..." she tried to explain with a fake smile...
"oh really...and does it look good when you yell at me all the time???"
so that was his revenge '.she thought...she could now understand his reason of getting the blanket... she had been yelling at him...but then he keeps on drinking all the time... she came out of her thought when she heard the door bell '. "Veer..." she panicked '..
"my...family...i mean they have come back..." she was all nervous...on the other side Veer looked at her nervous features...that made him smile...
"so what ??? let them see us together in one bed" he said calmly... making Chandni all scared and tense...
"no no Veer...please, try and understand...my Grandmother will shoot me..." she pleaded '.
Chandni could hear the steps coming towards her room... she immediately pulled Veer into the blanket, so that no one see him if they enter her room...she turned off the lights...though no one entered her room...she waited for few seconds still concentrating on the footsteps when she felt Veer's warm breath inside the blanket touching her waist...
Chandni took a deep breath...but soon she felt an unknown pleasure occupying her... Veer lifted her gown...and kissed her waist... while Chandni closed her eyes... she couldn't pull him out of the blanket...she felt her stomach muscles contracting at his warm breath against her skin...
he moved upwards and kissed her chest...Veer saw her eyes closed and smiled... "so you like me kissing you" making Chandni open her eyes and embarrassingly looking around...
"no...its nothing to do with that" she replied back...though every breath she was taking made her heart beat louder...
"lets not stop here Chandni..." he said while flicking her hair '.. and turned her towards his side... both looked at each other...
"Veer...i..." he placed his finger on her lips...not letting her speak anything... Chandni wasn't prepared for this...she wanted to pull away...
"until when will you keep on denying...???" Veer whispered softly coming closer...
Chandni couldn't look into his eyes anymore... his arm snaked around her waist... though he did not touch her knee that might hurt her... he lay his arm under her head and embraced her tightly in his arms... Chandni couldn't ask him to leave...she felt complete when he was around her...when he touched her she felt beautiful... she felt happy when he loved her...
Soon he smothered her with rough, urgent, hot kisses...
