nupur pregnant, mayank apprehensive, sam-gunjan wedding, the gang get together, MN know they have twins, mayanks working extra , pushing nupur to study, nupurs exams over and she cleared, the scare of pains, waiting for the babies.last scene was the one on beach
Part 33MN house-evening -dining table "nupur, mayank kahaan ho?"shilpa aunty
nupur came in waddling and sat on the chair with difficulty. Shilpa noticing it asked," nupur, tumhe sofe pe baithke khaana hain tho wahin chalthe hain"
" nahin maa. Main phir se nahin uthsakthi. Chodo" nupur replied back sounding tired and pulling the plate nearer , " aap?"
"tum start karo, main ..." nupur cut her short
"waise aapki saari saamaan aagayi?"
"haan aagayi. Ab aur gussa dikhaana baaki hain ya khatam hogaya?"
"agar is baar aap yahaan shift nahin hoti tho main sach mein aapse gussa hojaathi. Ab aap yahaan se kahin mat jaana" she replied strongly. Shilpa smiled at her.
" main akeli ghar main baith baith ke thak gayi thi itne din se. Sab busy hain. Mayank tho pata nahin kya kya kartha rehtha hain, gunjan aur samrat apne naye ghar sajaane mein busy hain aur samrat ka tho sports academy bhi start honewaala hain. Dia aur benji dono subah ko yahaan hain tho shaam ko delli mein. Free hain tho uday bhaiyya – aur uday bhaiyya mere saath itna jagdaa karchuke haina! Har roz mera aur unka khaane ke baare mein jagdaa hota hain" she took a breath pouring out all her woes ,
" bui bhi nahin aapayi mere saath rehne aur mayank ne mujhe morena jaane hi nahin diya" her voice filled with disappointment," matlab uski galthi nahin hain. Ab socho, agar doctors daraayenge ki travel nahin karna hain tho mayank ko unki baat maanni padegi na" she paused again after defending mayank ,
"par sach mein maa, itne stupid se khayaal aathe the na akele baith baith ke...aur yeh ek achha sa moholla bhi nahin hain ki padosi se jaaki kuch baat waat karoon" she sighed again and finally took a deep breath having poured out her loneliness.
Shilpa looked at her sympathetically and understood the need of someone being close to her
"inke elawa tho koi aur tha bhi nahin" she added as an afterthought patting her tummy as they kicked from inside.
Shilpa patted her head and asked affectionately, "agar tumhe itni hi company chahiye tha tho mujhse pehle kabhi kyun nahin bataya? Main tho kuch mahine aur pehle aajaathi"
"aapki bete ki wajah se" nupur blurted before she knew what she said and bit her lip
"matlab?"
'kuch nahin maa" she tried to change the topic," aaj kya bana hain?"
"nupur" shilpa tone was strict. Nupur looked at her apologetically
" wo mayank ko lagaa ki aapko takleef nahin dena chahiye. Aap apne kaam se khush thi na tho..."
"us bewakoof ne tumhe mana kiya tha mujhe bhulaane ke liye?" nupur nodded. Shilpa shook her head and sighed," yeh ladka bhi na! Aur tum nupur, tum kya uski har baat maanthi ho? Ek adarsh patni !" stressing sarcastically on the last words. Nupur looked at her with a sorry expression on her face. Shilpa turned to see mayank standing near the door, he seemd to have heard what she was saying
"aajao" shilpa said as mayank walked in," kya ab mujhse baat karne par bhi permission lena hain nupur ko?" mayank walked in looking at both of them, taking in his mothers irritation and nupurs apologetic expressions, his own face expressionless ," agar tumhe mann nahin hain is boodi maa ke saath rehne ka tho directly bol sakthe ho beta" she continued sarcastically sweet.
Mayank looked at her and then at nupur who said," nahin maa, mayank ka wo matlab.."
"tum chup raho nupur. Aur tum uski taraf mat dekho." her hands on her hips, she took off, " Tho Mayank sharma tumhe lagtha hain ki mujhe zindagi bar kaam hi karthe rehna hain? Apne family ke saath ,apni bachhon ke saath unki zindagi ki khushi ko baantne ka koi haq hain ki nahin?"
"maa , kya tum bhi nupur ki tarah nautanki shuru karrahin ho? Kya kiya maine?"
"kya kiya ? Tum tho kabhi kuch karthe hi..."
"maa" nupur had got up from her chair and placed her hand on shilpa aunty s arm," please ...sorry.
hum bas aapko ..." and turned to mayank. He moved to stand next to her and putting his hand also on both of theirs continued what nupur couldnt say," maa, hum ...nahin meri galthi hain, mujhe laga aapko problem nahin dena chahiye bas"
shilpa opened her mouth. He continued before she could say anything," sorry. Main ab jaangaya hoon ki agar aap pehle yahaan aathi tho nupur aur comfortable hoti. so..." he removed his hand and put his arm around both their shoulders ," both of you sorry"
both of them looked at him smiling inspite of themselves and then at each other. Shilpa hit his head o the side affectionately and ruffled his hair bringing the frwn on his face involuntarily.
"chalo, dinner karo, aajao nupur, sofe par hi baith jao" and turned to the kitchen
nupur, on whose shoulder maynk s hand was still present, bent quickly and kissed his cheek. He turned to her in surprise and looked back to see if his mom saw them. She hadnt. Nupur grinned at him and kissed him again, then moved to sit on the sofa , mayank sat with a smile on his face next to her. Shilpa came in with a plate for nupur and herself and sat down.
Mayank saw them , got up and brought a plate himself.
"maa waise aap mujhe kya denewaale ho kal pooja mein?" nupur asked her eating.
"surprise " nupurs face brightened
"boliye na"
"kal jab milega tab dekhlena. Aur nupur tum apne pairon ko upar rakhke baitho, warna phir se swelling aayega. Tumhaara appointment parsau haina? Main chalthi hoon tumhaare saath"
"haan" " nahin" mayank with his plate both looked at him questioningly.
" matlab main chaltha hoona iske saath, aap kyun..." and looked at nupur meaningfully. She looked back not understanding what he was trying to say.
"kya mayank? Tum hamesha tho aathe ho..."
"isiliye tho, mujhe pata hoga ki kisne kya kahaan tha last visit mein. Maa aayegi tho confuse hojaayegi"
shilpa shook her head," mayank yeh achhi baat hain ki tum nupur ka khayal rakthe ho lekin saare kaam akele nahin karsakthe" she sighed," teek hain tumhi chale jao."
nupur gave mayank dirty looks like you upset her again while not understanding what he was trying to say.
" wasie nupur yeh tho last visit hoga na...delivery ke pehle"
"nahin maa, do aur hain. main tho wait nahin karsakthi. Pata nahin kyun bulaathe hain. Jab bachhe ko baahar aana hota hain tab wo aahin jaathe hain. shukar hain ki wo classes jo hum jaarahe the wo khatam hogaya" mayank smiled
" Mujhe tho kuch bhi samj nahin aarahaan tha. Aisa uto, aise baitho, walk karo, yeh khaao, wo mat khaao..." she shook her head," ab bachhe honewaale hain, koi exam thodi na dena hain! Aur mayank...! shayad mayank ke sawaalon se darr ke close kiya unhone. Ab socho, yeh unse poochrahaan tha ki lambi saans ka matlab kitni lambi saans lena hain?"
"hello, wo maine nahin tumne poocha tha. Main itni stupid si questions nahin poochtha"
'maine? Main kab uthi thi un classes mein sawaal karne keliye?"
"maa, iski baaton par na vishwaas mat karo, yeh sab kuch bhool rahin hain"
"main pregnant hoon aat saal ki buddi nahin"
"aur naahin mujhe bhoolne ki bimaari hain" she retorted," bhool jaathi hain!"
"STOP " shilpa ," tum dono kuch tho badal jao. Matlab mujhe koi problem nahin hain par bachha aanewaala hain ghar main. Agar aise ladthe rahoge tho bhagwaan bachaaye usko. " she laughed , while mayank joined in , nupur became thoughtful.
"tum itna serious kyun hogayi nupur? Main mazaak karrahin thi"
"maa, kya bachhe ke baad hume sab kuch badalna padtha hain? "
"jab main wahin baat poochtha hoon tab tho scold karthi ho" mayank grumbled . Nupur ignored hima nd looked at shilpa aunty,
"Matlab humein kya serious serious rehna padega? Mujhe hi kuch aatha nahin tho main unko kya seekh doongi? Mayank .."
"nupur! Kisne kahaan ki bachon ke saath serious rehna chahiye? Main kahaan serious hoon?"
"ab nahin ho par jab main chota tha tab?" mayank
"tab bhi nahin thi, tum sabse mooh phelake baat karthe the"
"kyun itne saare rules nahin banaye the ?"
" mayu wo rules tho mere liye bhi the na, "
"haan wo tho tha. Aap bhi wahin karthi jo mujhe karne ko bolthi" mayank said remembreing
"achha ? Mere bauji bhi waise hi the. Agar humse kahaan ki humlogon ko kahin jaana nahin chahiye tho wo bhi nahin jaathe" , nupur stopped also remembering and then said," haalaki yeh alag baat tha ki main chalijaathi unse chup chupke..."
"aur tab tumhaare bauji kya karthe?" shilpa
" bui se ya unse daant padtha tha "
"bas tumhe bhi wahin karna hain"
"kya bachhon ko daantna hain?"
"nahin mayu, jo tum apne bache se ummed karthe ho, tumhe bhi wahin karna chahiye. Kisi ko bhi lecture dene se seekh nahin milthi, bache apne badon ke behavior se zyaada seekhthe hain. Uspar yeh zyaada asar padega ki tumne kya kiya, nahin ki tumne kya kahaan" she stopped as both of them stared at her and continued,
" zindagi badal jaathi hain, matlab sirf yeh nahin ki tumhaara work ya career pe asar padega .wo hoga, tumhaari daily routine bhi badal jaayega baby ke routine ke hisaaf se par usse zyaada tumhaara duniya dekhne ka nazariya badal jaathi hain."
mayank looked extremely thoughtful," kitni badi responsibility haina"
nupur sighed and linking her free arm in his said," kuch nahin.bachhe khushi dete hain wo koi project nahin hain tumhara jo complete karna hain. mujhe tho lagtha hain ki mera kaam sirf mere bachhon se pyaar karna hain aur tum unko daanto mat" shilpa smiled
" shayad" for a while they were quiet and as nupur made to get up from the sofa , shilpa suddenly asked, " mujhe yeh mila" and searched the table inbetween the newspapers and magazines and picked it out," yeh kya hain" pointing to apiece of paper- mayank saw it " babies names ki list nupur ne banaya tha"
"yeh? Jai /veeru- karan/ar..."
"ab usko kuch tho chahiye na timepass karne keliye, aur pado, achha hain" he smiled sarcastically
"saare boys ke naam hain"
"kyunki mujhe yakeen hain ki ladke honge" nupur said for the nth time
"par yeh do do kyun hain? Ram lakhan?"
both looked at each other guiltily and nupur gave a lets tell her atleast look. Mayank shook his head stubbornly
"...Ra.One ! Nupur , tum bhi na! Kya hua? " she looked at them. They shook their heads identically looking guilty,"tho yeh judwaa naam rakhnewaali ho tum?" she asked
"bas aise...maa mujhe aapse kabse poochna tha, aapka normal delivery hua tha na?" nupur suddenly changed the topic. Shilpa placed the paper on the table and mayank quickly picked it up , shilpa nodded to nupur
" tho batayiye kya kya karna padtha hain uskeliye. Us class mein bolrahe the ki walking karna hain, roz ek kamre ka pocha lagana hain. Exercises sikhaa rahe the. Maine sirf ek kaam kiya bas..." she showed her daaga which amba had given her.
Shilpa laughed," tumhe normal delivery kyun chahiye?"
"kyunki maa isko sooyi se darr lagtha hain, yeh injection ki pain ko seh nahin sakthi" mayank replied in a i ve been thro this so many times voice. And picking up their plates went in , they followed him still talking
"par nupur normal mein tho usse kahin zyaada pain hota hain beta" and on nupurs face looking troubled," chodo nupur. Zyaada mat socho. Jo hoga so hoga. Ab jaake so jao. Kal pooja ke liye ready rehna hain. Relax karo." and patted her cheeks affectionately.
