MN house kitchen

nupur in her maternity gown ,on one of the chairs and her legs stretched on the other chair , her elbow resting on the table and her head on her arm. Gunjan cooking, both laughing

"achha hua tum aagaye , warna morena ke baaton mein kisi aur ko interest hi nahin hota,ek baat boloon gunjan , mujhe maa bauji ki bohot yaad aarahin hain aaj kal khaaskarke maa ki. Itne saalon mein kabhi uski itna yaad nahin aaya jitna pichle kuch mahino mein aaya hain" gunjan smiled understandingly " kitni achha tha wahaan, life kitni seedi saadi thi na?"

"wo isliye kyunki hum sab bachhe the" ouch nupur felt a kick and gunjan ran to place her hand to feel it too. Both grinned

" ab dekho. Tumhaara baby aanewaala hain. Waise di, tumne shilpa aunty se baat karli? Unhone subah se teen baar phone kiya tha aur tum so rahin thi"

"haan" nupur smiled," baat hogayi unko maine warning bhi diya hain ki wo agale mahine tak yahaan aajaana chahiye. Unko tho itna buraa lagrahaan tha ki mujhe hi unko console karna padaa" she shook her head remembering shilpa affectionately ," yeh maa bhi na ..." and looked at gunjan who was listening to her intently with a curious expression on her face," kya hua? Tu mujhe aisa kyun dekhrahin hain?"

gunjan smiled ," di tumhaari aur aunty ki kitni banthi haina?"

"haan wo tho hain! Pata hain kyun?" and without waiting for her reply, "kyunki hum dono ki duniya ek hi insaan ke aage peeche ghoomtha hain. Mayank ke" she grinned and stopping her talk raised her eyebrows at gunjan, her naughty nature showing up," itne saalon mein tho tune meri saasumaa ke baare mein nahin poocha , tho ab kyun? Kya baat hain? Apne saasumaa ki yaad aarahin hain kya?"

gunjan looked at her as if caught and smiled," di! Tumse kuch nahin chuptha! Samrat ki mom ko abhi time lagega mujhe accept karne mein" she said wistfully ," Chalo kamre mein chalke let jao warna tired hojaaoge" and came towards her to help her get up

gunjan and nupur on the sofa, nupur lying down and gunjan sitting at the corner

"gunjan yeh sab kab aayenge? dia kab aayegi? Mujhe dinner karna hain" nupur fidgeted

"aagayi" and dia walking towards nupur hugged her ," sorry girls .main late hogayi. Par nupur tum kaisi ho? " looking at her worriedly, " main kitni scared bhi"

"main teek hoon abh. Uday bhaiyya?"

"dodo aur benji dono samrat aur mayank ke saath hain bahar " nupur hurriedly placed her hand on her tummy to make her feel the kick. Dia s face broke into a huge smile as she felt the sharp kick and said," dard hota hain nupur?"

nupur shook her head ,"achha lagtha hain. Aaj subah se kuch zyaada hi football khelrahe hain"

and before the others could regsiter she had referred to twins, continued," Waise dia tum log bhi chaloge morena ? " she sat up completely

"morena? Tum kab.."

" mujhe wahaan jaane ka bohot mann karrahaaan hain. Wahaan hamara mandir jo tha na dia.."

" abhi nahin di abhi abhi tho hospital mein...kuch din ke baat jaayenge" gunjan interrupted her

" kahaan jaane ki planning chalrahin hain ?" samrats voice came in and the sisters turned to see the guys as they walked in. uday who seemed to be upset walked to the kitchen directly.

Mayank walked near nupur and gave her a one armed hug simultaneously looking to see how she was feeling. She smiled in response to his unasked question and held his hand as he came and sat near her.

"Hum abhi morena ki baat karrahe the" nupur answered brightly

Gunjan added ,"bui ki daant sunnipadegi agar ab gaye tho..."

"bui ne hi kahaan tha ki meri godbaraai karegi tho..."

Mayank interrupted her , " doctor ne kahaan hain ki tum travel nahin karogi tho behtar hoga. So NO nupur"

"mayank magar mujhe morena jaana tha!"

"agar magar kuch nahin. please main jo bhi kehtha hoon wo sab karo koi bhi arguement ke bina." he shut her up with a finality in his voice, his arm still around her .Her face fell.

samrat spoke up," achha hua nupur tumhaara function yahin karenge" nupur still looked upset.

All of them exchanged glances and suddenly dia brought brought out a huge bag and took out some covers from inside-to divert nupurs attention

" nupur yeh dekho, hum tumhaare liye kuch laaye hain "

haayi, wow, so sweet, kahaan se?

It was a baby bag with a whole lot of assorted stuff- the scarfs/ dress/mittens/socks /diapers/ napkins/baby bed- nupurs face broke into a huge smile as she saw all the cute stuff lying in front of her she glanced at mayank who sat staring at the stuff unbelievingly

"mayank yeh dekho! Kitna cute hain!"

"chota nahin padega?" he asked moving closer to the socks and lifting one up

"nahin jiju, yeh newborn size hain"

"mayank, usko cover se mat nikaalna. Warna dirty hojaayega" dia took it back from him ," infection hojaayega baby ko"

mayank looked a little confused and opened his mouth to ask something when nupur spoke," dia yeh saare hare rang kyun hain? " looking at everything which was in shades of green

dia and gunjan exchanged glances and grinned excitedly ," isiliye kyunki humein nahin pata..."

"...ki yeh baby girl hain ..."

"...ya boy. Tho pink ya blue ke instead humne green leliye"

"nupur tum khush nahin ho?" dia and hit benji s hands as he picked up the small quilt and tried to open it.

Benji moved back and stood next to samrat who grinned at him and said," hamara kaam nahin hain yahaan. yeh uday kahaan hain?" and went looking for him.

Nupur meanwhile smiled ," bohot khush hoon . thank you so much "

nupur looked at mayank her look saying please batana do na and mayank gave her a NO look. She sighed and mumbled,"ek hi set hain"

"kya di?"

"yeh tum dono ne liya?" she asked . Both nodded," kahaan se?"

delhi mein yeh...malaysia mein yeh ...indore mein suhaani ne yeh ...london se...

"achha? Mumbai se kya liya?" both shook their heads kuch nahin? ab main saare ki doosri set matching kahaan kahaan se loongi?

She thought to herself and glanced at mayank.His face showed he was exactly thinking of the same thing- dekha isiliye kuch bhi chupana nahin chahiye. aur yeh dono tho meri behenein hain. affectionately looking at them. he shook his head forcibly NAHIN

"kya nahin nahin? Ab ek aur..." she blurted out . Dia/gunjan stared not understanding what was happening between them or even whom nupur was talking to looked confused.

Aaa ...another kick and this time it was benji who ran pushing dia and mayank to feel the baby.

"wow nupur kitna zor se maartha hain!" he said admiringly," ya maarthi hain!"

before anyone could reply or mayank could start scolding him, samrat and uday came out with one plate," mayank tum kuch din ke liye tumhaari amba ko humein loan mein dedo. Kitna achha banathi hain. Kaash uski hands ko kiss karsaktha. Aur nupur agar tum abhi nahin aayi tho uday sab kuch empty karega"

"sammy, amba maid hain, loan me nahin de sakthe koi"

"aur mayank ki tho bilkul nahin hain "

"aur aaj khaana maine banaya hain"

samrat recovered fast and holding gunjans hand," tumne? Wow chashmish aur bhi achha hogaya. Main tumhaara haath kiss karsaktha hoon" and brought her hands to his lips

everyone burst out laughing.

"ek aur maara" benji screamed making nupur realise that he had his hand on her tummy still. Mayank moved with a frown to push him but samrat moved quicker and pushed his hand off.mayanks frown stayed.

"chodo samrat, abhi nahin aayega kuch dher tak" and moved his hand away . she held mayanks hand as he sat back next to her.

"kya yaar maine phir se miss kiya? " samrat ," sab ne feel kya?" nupur nodded and samrat looked dissappointed.

"waise all jokes apart nupur, mayank" dia said seriously as gunjan carefully placed all the stuff back," tum dono ko pregnancy classes join karleni chahiye taaki tum dono yeh pata chale ki kab kya hoga. Agar pehle se pata hota hain tho koi bhi danger sign...sab jaathe hain nupur. aisi koi problem nahin hogi phir se"

both nupurs and mayanks face had been changing , werent they careful enough? Why were they getting advises all over? Mayank held nupurs hands slightly tightening the grip.

"achha ? Maa aur bui tho nahin gayi hogi" Nupur attempted to lighten the matter so that mayank wouldnt get upset. Dia opened her mouth to say something and she interrupted ," hum sochenge okay" shortly and turned around to catch uday looking sad. She immediately changed the topic

"uday bhaiyya ap itne chup kyun hain?"

"kyunki main gussa hoon"

"kisse?"

the guys excahnged glances and smiled as he said," isse" pointing mayank

"kyun? Mayank ab tumne kya kiya? Tum uday bhaiyaa ko itna pareshaan kyun karthe ho? Unko akela kyun nahin chodsakthe kuch dher tak?"

samrat and benji burst out laughing as mayank started getting irritated," hello..mujhe koi shauk nahin hain tumhaare uday bhaiyya ke ...tum usse poochon ki usne mujse kya kahaan"

nupur turned to uday," maine suggest kiya ki tum log baby ka naam Wangdu rakhlo " he said glancing at mayank," aur isne ..."

"kya uday bhaiyya aap bhi- wangdu kya naam hain? " she interrupted halfway between smiling and irritation.she glanced at mayank and made a ok im sorry face. Mayank returned a u always are sorry look

" waise agar ladki hui tho" samrat prodded him

" ladki nahin hogi sam" uday replied confidently. everyone looked on curiously," kyunki nupur ko ladka chahiye" he stroked her head affectionately and she grinned happily at him

"tho? Mayank ko tho girl baby chahiye " samrat

" sam,mayank ki tho...matlab yahaan tho hamesha nupur ki hi baat chaltha hain , nupur kahegi ladka tho ladka hi hoga dekhna"

everyone except mayank and uday burst out laughing . Uday wondered what he had said while mayank didnt know whether to think of it as a good thing or a bad one.
