He spoke this rigidly while writing down sums on the paper, although as he started speaking, Nupur couldn't understand that why is he lecturing without a reason, but she didn't realize that Mayank had been very quick to notice the signs of irritation on her face as he announced the mathematics practice.

"and what about the other parts of the SAT exams?", she asked glaring him.

"first atleast prepare one part, then we'll think about others", he glared back and handed her the paper and controlling hard to shout, she said, "I know I am preparing well, only if you ever learn to appreciate",

"I don't sit here to learn from you, you do it, so stop advising and start the work", and with this without ever giving her a chance to speak he opened his book and Nupur closed her eyes, her only way to control anger in front of this arrogant man, sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't, and today unfortunately it didn't.

"I am thirsty", she threw the pencil on the table and left the room walking quickly, and Mayank, didn't even raise his eyes.

She rushed to the kitchen and drank a chilled glass of water. When that icy water choked her throat, she sat down on the dinning chair and closed her eyes again. It was strange that' she wasn't ever able to answer him the way she wanted.

She was notorious for being the blunt answering girl in her family, school and high school, she had never tolerated anyone's comments,. But this man!!. From the past month, every single day this person insulted her and still he was allowed in her home!! .and this never happened ever!!.

Mayank was uselessly turning the pages of his notebook, thinking she was angry yet again. From the past month, he had made note of her patterns and ways, and this excuse of being thirsty was used when she was unable to control her anger, he was sure she would be drinking icy water, and will cough for a while when she'll return.

Sometimes an urge used to arouse that he should stop her from drinking this chilled water, it is definitely not good, but could never made himself too. He wasn't this rude and arrogant, he was genuinely a polite person, then why was he always at his edge with this girl.

He knew that all her rudeness was initiated from his side, she can be a polite person only if he ever allows her to be, but he never did. He closed her eyes tight and took a deep breath; this is no way of thoughts to proceed. NO WAY.

Is it okay if I submit these questions tomorrow, I am not too well today", her weak vice made him open his eyes and fumbling he looked at her, her eyes had turned red, all of a sudden what ..

"May I?", she interrupted again and fumbling he nodded, "alright", he collected his books and headed to the door. Just before he could step put, he turned back to take a look on her.

Yes he had a huge fight with his conscious in that momentary moment, but still he did turn, and what he saw made a fiber of his heart ache. Although he could not keep on standing there, so stealing a glance, he quickly moved out, but taking the scene in his eyes, he couldn't move on from what he saw.

She was collecting her books from the table, wiping tears from her face.
