~Destiny~
They slowly parted from the kiss. They both were happy and a sense of love filled their eyes. Kripa was blushing but not nearly as much as Angad. Angad didn't even realize when he developed feelings for the girl he claimed to be only "his friend", but now that he was aware of those feelings, he felt it was the most beautiful feeling in the world to be with a girl whom he liked. Though, he didn't know if this was love or just attraction. Kripa on the other hand, thought of the relationship only as attraction. She felt as if it was impossible they were going to be together forever, heck they were only in college.
K- Angad your blushing, how cute!
A- ......No, I'm not blushing
K- Yes you are!
A-....No, no i'm not
K- Your not?
A- Nope
Kripa leaned over and kissed his cheek.
K- What about now?
A- Gosh, your not at all like the other girls I've dated.
K- Other girls?
A- Yeah, they were so different than you
K- Oh really! What were they like?
A- Well first of all they felt shy around me, secondly they were way nicer than you, thirdly-----
K interrupted- What do you mean they were nicer than me? Im plenty nice
A- Okay, if you call getting in a fight with me the first time we meet, hitting my mom with a car, smacking and accusing me of something I didn't do nice, than yeah your really nice
Kripa had tears in her eyes. Angad who was just joking noticed this.
A- Don't cry Kripa, I was just kidding
K- Your right, Im not nice
A- No, no your really nice, Im the one thats not nice, I made you cry, sorry, but dont cry
Kripa crying more- Im not nice
A- No, Im not nice, hit me, yell at me, but please don't cry
K-still crying- You want me to stop crying?
A- Yeah
K- Then pick me up in your arms
A- What?
K-I'll start crying again if you don't
A- Fine, fine
Angad picked Kripa up in his arms and Kripa put her arms around his neck.
K- How sweet
A- Yeah, but where are we going
K- Take me home, its getting late
A- Okay
After a couple of minutes Kripa noticed Angad was tired.
K- You can put me down
A- No its okay
K- No, I can walk
A- okay
Kripa got down and took off her heels.
A- What did you do that for?
K- My feet hurt a little, thats all
A- Then let me pick you up
K- No Angad, I'll walk
A- Kripa you keep telling me I'm sweet, but I say your sweet, You knew I was tired so you got down, how sweet!
K- Hey I think I'm waring off on you
A- Thats a good thing right?
K- To some extent
they both laughed
K- So tell me, how many girlfriends have you really had?
A- Only a few, but let me tell you the honest truth, I hated all of them
K- You did?
A- Yeah, I mean they were all bimbos and it was as if they couldn't think for themselves. All they ever wanted to do was be seen with me rather than actually want to go out with me to be with me
K- Oh
A- Yeah, but your different, you don't care about what other people think, you do what YOU want, maybe thats what I like about you so much
K- You know Angad, I like you too, but I want you to know something, I'd rather want your friendship than your love anyday, so if one day we're not together anymore, than we'll still be friends....right?
A- You got it
Kripa smiled at Angad and Angad smiled back. They were walking on a bridge, it had water underneath it.
Kripa took her shoes and threw them in the water.
A- Hey, whad you do that for?
K- I was tired of holding them
A- What, you threw shoes in the water because you were tired of holding them?
K- Well I didn't like them much anyway, so its okay......plus I bought them on sale for only for 3000 rupees.
A- OMG!
K- I know thats cheap isnt it.
A- You don't even know the value of money do you, just think how much 3000 rupees would mean to a poor person.
K- A lot I guess
A- You think?
K- Why r u so mad?
A- Just grow up!
The rest of the way they both didn't say anything to each other. Kripa was scared of Angad's anger and Angad was just angry with Kripa.
Kripa's house came and she didn't know if Angad would say bye to her or not, so she waited for a couple of seconds. When Angad didn't say anything to her, she said a simple bye and went inside her home.
As Angad walked home he felt as if he overreacted with Kripa. He knew if she was born in the house of the richest man in India, then it would obviously have some effect on her. He felt bad and decided to apologize to her the next day.
The next morning
Angad called Kripa
K- Hello?
A- Hey, its me, I'll pick u up for college ok
K- Umm okay, thanks
A- Hey, no problem, after all I'm your boyfriend remember
K- Yeah
A-Well c ya then
K- Yeah bye
Kripa got ready and when she heard a honk she went to the car and got in.
K- Good morning
A- Good morning,
SILENCE
A- Hey, I'm sorry for the way I acted last night, I was out of line
K- Actually Angad, you were right, I should grow up and I should learn the value of money, so I decided to get a job.
A- A job?
K- Yes, and its not at my dad's company, I'm going to apply at another one.
A- Hey, Kripa you don't have to prove anything to me, I'm sorry I spoke to you like that so lets just forget it okay?
K- No, I want to get a job and I'd appreciate it if you would support me in this.
A- Kripa, of coarse I'll support you, I mean I know your more than capable of finding a great job, but I don't want you to do it because I told you to learn the value of money, I want you to do it because you want to learn the value of money.
K- And I do
A- Okay, then I'm with you all the way
K- Thanks
At college Angad spotted Kripa in the canteen sitting alone. He went to her and kissed her cheek.
K- Hey
A- Hey, what r u doing sitting alone?
K- Job hunting
A- Any luck?
K- Yeah, theres some which I'm interested in.
A- Which one?
K- Well this one is a magazine publication house owned by...........Prithvi Bose.
