Maan did not know where he was heading but the only thing that he knew was as long as he is there nothing can happen to his Geet
They continued running and the goons were following them trying to locate them

They continued running Maan stopped as he realized that Geet was tired. He was constantly looking back but the goons were no where to b seen
Mere haath mein tera haath ho saari janathe mere saath ho
Geet hugged Maan she was really very scared.
Maan hugs her back and tried to calm her

It was then that Geet noticed Maan's injuries.
Tu jo paas ho phir kya ye jahan tere pyar mein ho jaau fanaa
She touched his shoulder which was bleeding since he had been hit by the bullet

She tore her duppata and tied it on Maan's injured hand

Maan had some injuries on his head as well she took another piece of her duppata and tied it on his head

Maan just took her in his embrace trying to assure her that he is perfectly alright

Maan suddenly heard some footsteps he realized that the goons were nearby they immediately leave that area
Tere dil mein meri saaso ko panna mil jaaye

As they were running Maan found a big hole dug in the ground where both of them could hide easily. He signalled Geet to enter and he also did the same and covered the hole by some grass strands that were lying nearby
Jitne paas hai khushboo saas k jitne paas hoton k sargam
The goons arrive in that area Geet moves closer to Maan. Maan assures her not to get worried through his eyes
Jaise saath hai karwat yaad k jaise saath bahon k sangam
There was a lot of tension at that particular time but still both of them were there for each other. It seemed as if Maan's eyes were promising Geet that I am here for u forever and ever
Jitne paas paas khwabho k nazar utne paas tu rehna humsafar
Geet had not spoken anything after witnessing that murder the only word that she had spoken was Maan and her eyes clearly reflecting her trust for the man whom she loves more than her life
Tu jo paas ho phir kya ye jahah tere pyar mein ho jau fanaa
They were not sure whether they will stay alive or not but they were making thousands of promises at this dangerous phase of their life as well

Maan realized that the goons had left that area and were searching for them somewhere else. He once again tried to listen to the surrounding sounds to reassure that they were actually safe

Maan was now confident that the goons had left
Rone de aah humko do aaklhein sujha ne de
baho mein le ne de aur khud ko bheeg jaane de

He comes out and helps Geet to come out as well
Jitne paas paas dhadkan k hai raaz jitne paas bhundho k baadal
He realized that his Geet was really tired . He lifted her in his arms and started walking
Jaise saath saath chanda k hai raat jitne paas naino k kajal
Geet just rested her head on his shoulder. Maan continued walking very soon he saw a hut and decided to take Geet there.
Jitne paas saagar k leher utne paas tu rehna humsafar
There was no one in that hut. Maan placed Geet carefully and tried his level best to make her feel comfortable
Tu jo paas ho phir kya ye jahah tere pyar mein ho jau fanaa
He noticed that Geet was really worried. She was not talking to him but she was only responding to his touch. Maan understood that this incident has caused a severe damage

He tried talking to Geet but Geet did not reply she just sat there like a lifeless soul
Adhoori saas thi dhadkan adhuri thi adhoorein hum
magar ab chand pura hai falak pe aur ab purein hai hum
Maan caressed her face lovingly. Geet just hugged him in response.Maan felt as if someone has blessed him with a new life when he found Geet safe and sound in his embrace
Maan took full care of Geet. After sometime Maan decided that they need to get out from here and he was very much sure that the goons will not be able to find them
Geet was sleeping in his arms. Maan lifted her carefully and started walking towards his car
This wasn't the first time that Maan had been to Amritsar he was very well acquinted with the routes and shortcuts of this area.
He took a shortcut route and maanged to reach his car
he placed Geet carefully in the car and touched the taaveez that Geet had given to him
He closed his eyes and tried to start the car.
The car starts and Maan immediately leaves for Delhi
After few hours Maaneet reach Delhi
Maan stops the car in front of KM and lifts Geet and starts walking inside Khurana Mansion
Here everyone was already worried for Maaneet since they were late
Dadima: Maan ye aapko chot kaise lagi aur Geet ko kya hua?
Annie: Bhai aap dono thik toh hona?
Maan: Dadima main sab batatha hoon aap pls relax ho jaaiye
Dev: Bro par
Maan: Dev kuch der intezaar karo main sab batatha hoon
Maan: Nakul Geet ka saaman outhouse se mere room mein shift kar do issi waqt main Geet ko iss halat mein akela nahi chod saktha
Nakul: Ji Sir
Maan carries Geet to his room the entire family follows them
He places her carefully on his bed
Geet was still sleeping
Maan: Dadima aap please yahi rukiye main zara first aid box lekar aata hoon
Maan goes to get the first aid box
As soon as Maan leaves Geet opens her eyes
Dadima: Geet bete aap kaisi hai ye chot aapko kaise lagi?
Geet did not reply
Annie: Geet tum kuch bolthi kyun nahi
Geet was not responding she was sitting like a lifeless soul
All three of them try to talk to Geet but Geet did not respond
Just then Maan enters with the first aid box as soon as Maan comes and sits besides Geet she hugs him
Geet was only reacting to Maan's touch and nothing else.
The trauma of witnessing the murder had given Geet a tremendous shock but a small part of her mind remembered Maan only Maan...
