Yayyy...khushi realises her love...amazing how he stood up for her...

Loved your update... well it had o happen ... Khushi falling for Arnie and with her ever absent boyfriend who isn't there to comfort her it was to be expected but i wonder how she'll tell Arnie that coz he just announced loud and clear that they were just friend... hmmm hope they dn't get into a clash

Khushi ran with bounds of happiness out of the auditorium and headed straight for Arnav's room. She opened the door when she saw Arnav sitting on the end of his bed that was facing the balcony. He was on the phone.

"Yes di. Yes, I know, I know. If you like her than by all means continue with the proposal. Im happy you respected my decision of not getting married 'till after med. School but I think its time. If you like her then I like her too and I'm willing to marry her with my eyes closed. Your happiness is my reason for living and if getting me married is what you want to see then so be it." Khushi took a step back and ran out with tears all over her face. Arnav turned around to see where the noise came from but all he saw was his door moving slightly as if someone was there not to long ago.

Khushi ran to her room and took out the small box she brought with her that had her mum's memories in them. She took it and head out for the spot.

She decided to go to "the spot". She found a nice boulder to sit on. She opened her box and got her mum's pic out. She ran her hands through it.

"Mum.." She whispered softly barely able to speak. She started to cry and hug her mum's pic. "Mum..! Mum! I miss you mum! Where are you? Can you see me? Hear me? Feel Me? Cant you see that I need you here with me right now? I failed you mum! I failed you! Not only you but Arnav, Karan, and me myself. I'm guilty of falling in love, in love with Arnav. I am, I am in love mum! I tried hard to love Karan but Karan never was able to open the locked corner in my heart in which I had sealed all my love away. It was Arnav. Sure he may not have everything that's in the notebook but he has everything that matters! I don't know what to do! I feel guilty! I failed you mum!" She heard leaves rustling nearby. She turned around but failed to notice anyone.

She turned back around and wiped her tears. "What was I thinking, I forgot that Arnav has feelings too, he has priorities too, he has plans too and I forgot that I am engaged for crying out loud! I must do something about this, I cant ruin Arnav's life like this I'll never be able to be able to forgive myself if I came between him and his desires. He deserves happiness which lies in someone else. I need to go away, far away from this place before he finds out whats going on with me. He knows me better than I know myself and he'll figure this out sooner or later. I have to go." She said as she sobbed quietly into her hands.

Meanwhile in room 112...

Arnav was holding pictures of the party they went to the other night. He took a picture of Khushi out and caressed it.

"I love you." He said as he held the picture close to him. He sighed. "I've loved you from the first time I met you. You are the most innocent, lovable, beautiful, desirable person in the world. The way your broke my quiet shell was commendable. Not even Di was able to do it. Thank you Khushi, for teaching me how to live. I know you're engaged and in love with somebody else but I don't know why. Why I fell in love with you. I guess the heart doesn't listen to the mind after all and there I fell in love. I'll never be able to forgive myself if I ever come in between her dreams and her love. And di, she was the one who sheltered me from the cat-dog fights mum and dad had at home. She raised me and was there for me when mum and dad should've been. I have to fulfill all her desires too. What was I thinking? I cant ruin Khushi's life and I cant fail Di. I have to go far, far, away." He said.

So there they were both foolish and in love, sacrificing their feelings, running away from each other for what they thought was their happiness. If this isn't true love then what is?
