Khushi and her friends were supposed to go see the school's play and they went to the auditorium. Everyone turned around the moment Khushi's entered. People started gossiping and giving her scornful looks. Finally Shyam got up.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk. Khushi? Came alone today? I mean without any boys? Where's your boyfriend? Oops, sorry I mean Boyfriends."
Khushi started to tear up and was about to cry when she felt a cool hand grab hers. He led her to the stage.

Khushi looked at him and was about to speak when he said ,"Please Khushi, let me set this straight. I wont able to live with myself if I don't. Please." He said as his emotions changed all of a sudden. His eyes were moist and we're as if he had been crying all night. His face filled with concern.
He grabbed the mike.
"So you all think your being cool right? And heroic?" he looked at Shyam. "By 'protecting' our community of students from 'characterless girls.' By putting false accusations on a girl? And that do a girl like Khushi? Do you even know what's going on in her life? No, right? So then WITHOUT KNOWING ANY FACTS *bangs podium*, WITHOUT LOOKING AT WHAT THE POOR GIRL'S GOING THROUGH *bangs podium*, YOU GUYS CAME UP WITH A TOPIC OF GOSSIP. I'm right na? This is all to you is just topic of gossip that will fade out in a few days but it will never undo all the scars that you will make on this girl's reputation and emotions. Khushi is pure, there is nothing going on between us. We are good friends and I was just there to help her and comfort her. She was completely broken and on a day like that you made situations even worse. How do you people live with yourself?" He said disgustedly. "And all of you know Khushi well, you know what kind of girl she is, heck she's still a virgin and yet you call HER characterless!"
"Excuse me Arnav but how do YOU know this?" Shyam said with a dirty look on his face.
"Just what I expected of you Shyam. I know this for a fact because I know Khushi, she is a pure hearted soul with the world's most beautiful mind and heart and these accusations aren't even worth listening to. I expect you all to apologize to Khushi for your unacceptable behavior." He said as he looked at Khushi with his deep green eyes. Khushi looked at Arnav with great respect, honor, and a bit of... love. Yes! Yes! She loved Arnav! She watched him walked out of the auditorium. Khushi slowly walked down the stage and was crowded by a bunch of collegues saying their heartfelt sorries. She looked towards the door where the man that saved her honor and stole her heart was walking away
