Sleeping beauty Part 20
Maan and Geet were walking through the snow.Geet watched the snow fall.
"Walking on the snow is so nice.Watching the snow fall is really a wonder.Right Maan?It's like going to another world",Geet said.
"I did'nt know that you can be romantic".
Maan's words made her embarrased.
"What are you saying Maan?Me romantic?Why do you feel like that".
"The way you talk proves that you are romantic".
Maan smiled at her.
She found it difficult to face him.
While walking she was about to fall down.So to get balance suddenly she held his shirt.
She looked at him.
He never expected it.He stared at her eyes.
She also kept looking at his eyes.
Slowly his fingers went through her face.
She was shocked.He looked at him unbelievingly.
She got nervous and moved away from him.
He held her hand.
She never expected it from Maan.
He came towards her and stood very close to her.She was stunned.
She did'nt know how to react.
He forgot himself.Geet could feel his soft touch.
She looked at his eyes.
Her lips shivered,"Maan!"
He carried her in his arms.She could'nt believe what was happening to her.
She felt secure in his arms.Still she felt uncomfortable.
He carried her to a cottage.
He placed her on the bed.She was wet.She started shivering.
"Feeling cold?"Maan asked her.
"Yes Maan".
He removed his shirt and showed it to her.
"Your clothes are wet.That's why you feel cold.Change it and wear this.You will feel better".
Geet got up from the bed and took it from him.
"Thank you Maan".
Maan did'nt say anything.He went off.
She wore the shirt and came out.
Maan was sitting near the hearth.He saw her.He could not take his eyes off her as she looked very sensuous.Geet felt uncomfortable and nervous seeing the way Maan looked at her.
He went closer to her.He stood very close to her.She did know what to do.
They walked towards the hearth looking at each other's eyes.Then they sat down near the hearth.Maan touched her.They both were lost in each other.Unknowingly her fingers longed to touch him.Slowly she touched his face.
He felt very nice and happy.Finally his lady love is accepting him as her husband.But suddenly she came back to her senses and tried to move away.Maan held her shoulder to stop her.
She removed his hand from her shoulder.
"No Maan..please".
Maan looked at her eyes deeply.
Her eyes became wet.
"I can't cheat Dev".
Maan's heart was pricked.
He thought,"Still i don't have place in Geet's heart?Still she is longing for Dev".
Maan moved away.
Geet went towards him.
Maan had some hope.
"Let us go back.Krish must have woken up".
His hopes were shattered.
"Ok".
They went back.
Dadima laughed seeing them.
"What is this?Maan is shirtless..only a banyan and Geet has worn Maan's shirt.So funny".
"Actually dadima...Geet's dress was wet.Heavy snow fall.Right?She was feeling cold.So i made her wear my shirt",Maan said.
Dadima smiled,"It seems that you both enjoyed a lot on the snow.Right?"
Maan and Geet did not reply.They just looked at each other.Dadima smiled.
"Dadima..Krish?"Geet asked.
"Krish is still sleeping".
"I will change my dress and come",Geet said.
She went inside to change her clothes.
Geet and Maan were not able to sleep that night.Geet was mentally disturbed.
Maan,Geet ,Krish and Dadima went back to Mumbai.
There Geet was haunted by what happened between them in Shimla.She closed her eyes. due to irritation.
Maan entered the room.Hearing his footsteps she opened her eyes.
He looked at her.She was not able to face him.
"Maan!I have decided to go back home.Before 4 i will leave".
He was shocked.
"Why?"
"You know the reason.I can't stay here anymore.I'm scared.I don't trust you.You might behave in the same way to me".
"But Geet.."
"I can't...Dev's soul will not forgive me".
Geet's eyes got filled up with tears.
Maan did not know what to say.
Maan went out and cried secretly.
