The next morning, Geet woke up in Maan's arms and she smiled to herself... She saw Maan sleeping soundly.

She softly slipped out of his arms and stroked his cheek...

Maan slowly opened his eyes and smiled, " Itne Severay aap uth gayi Rajkumari?"

"I am the daughter in law of this palace and of your parents... it is my duty" replied Geet.

"And the duty of you towards me?" asked Maan pulling her closer.

"Maan..!" giggled Geet.

" Bilkul bhi nahin" said Maan a sly smile of his...

"Haathiye" whispered Geet. She got up wrapping the silk sheet around her...

Maan and Geet were ready and Geet rested her duppata and held onto the sides of it with her two fingers.

They walked out form their chambers to notice the awing of the servant girls... They seemed to be disappointed that Maan was no longer a bachelor...

They walked towards the courtyard where Maan's parents were.

Raja Prithvi smiled, " Aayiye..."

Geet folded her hands and immediately touched their feet, " Khambagani Maa saa... pitta ji"

Rani Vasundhara smiled approvingly, " Itne sevaray Geet?" Geet smiled, " Maa saa... ab yeh humara ghar hain..."

Rani Vasundhara chuckled, " Waisay Geet... aap badli badli si lag rahi hain"

Geet suddenly blushed and Maan cleared his throat, " Maa saa, shall we get to breakfast?"

Rani Vasundhara smirked, " Ji chaliye... aap dono ka intezaar ho raha tha"

Geet and Maan nodded and Rani Vasundhara held onto Geet's hand lovingly, " Geet, aaj aapki mooh dikhayi hain... aur aaj aap humara haar pehnengi..."

Geet nodded, " Ji maa saa..."

Rani Vasundhara led her towards her chambers and Maan stood there awkwardly while his father was sitting comfortably and feasting on breakfast.

"Aren't you going to sit down son?" asked Prithvi.

" Of course" replied Maan smoothly not hinting the disappointment of current plans of his mother.

The servants poured Maan water into his jewelled glass. " How is married life so far my boy?" asked Prithvi with a small smile on his face.

Maan was good at putting the tough exterior around him and he replied, " It is satisfying..."

Prithvi chuckled and Maan almost wanted to drown himself for choosing that word to describe married life.

" Saathi ho to jeevan sundar lagta hain" added Maan. " My son...you are my son after all, why should I hide my laughter from you" replied Prithvi.

Maan cleared his throat and then suddenly Dev walked out yawning and Prithvi decided he would poke fun at his youngest son.

" Rajkumar..." said Prithvi with his deep and intimidating voice.

Dev shook awake a little and straightened himself out, " Ji pitta ji..."

Maan smirked, " Dev... come eat"

" Bhai... do we really have to practise today? Id rather relax" said Dev. Maan looked at him amusingly, " Achaa?.."

"Waisay Maan, you just got married! You should relax my boy!" added Prithvi.

"Pitta ji, aap sahi keh rahe hain..." replied Dev. Maan shook his head and then Rani Vasundhara walked into the courtyard with Geet talking with her.

They seemed to be talking like mother and daughter, laughing away at something. Geet quietened when they reached the courtyard.

Maan's eyes went to Geet and a small smile curved at his lips. Geet looked away and was about to say something until a burning sensation went through her skin.

She almost fell back and the sky started to go dark with black clouds. Rani and Raja were quite shocked and didn't know what to do. Dev got scared and stepped back and looked around him.

Maan immediately wetn to her and Geet screamed almost shaking the entire palace.

Maan tried to handle her but she was too strong when it came to her powers. A light erupted from her and then she pushed him away.

She seemed to be fighting against something as she fell to the ground and tried to get back up. But at the back of her mind, she remembered the charms her mother taught her to safeguard herself.

She began fighting words to say the charm and the light shined into the sky, replacing the black clouds with white ones. The sky went a beautiful blue and finally Geet stopped feeling the burning...

She got up and immediately gathered herself. Maan was about to go to her until she stopped him.

" Nahin...Nahin... Just stop... don't move! ANY OF YOU!" roared Geet. She began furiously saying something and it spread a sort of protection around them.

Vasundhara clasped Prithvi's arm and Dev almost fainted.

Geet began chanting something and immediately they could hear evil cries. Geet's eyes went a complete ice blue and the scorpion on her wrist began moving.

" War...its war now" whispered the evil voices. Maan's eyes burned with sudden anger and Geet sensed it.

She turned to Maan, but Raja Rani looked at each other surprised because of the ice blue eyes that Geet suddenly had. Dev rubbed his eyes in shock.

She started chanting something and suddenly, the evil voices wore off and the atmosphere felt a little bit more soft.

Geet looked around her as the wind calmed around them. Her eyes slowly went back to its regular green.

"Maaf kijiye" said Geet calmly. She was a tad bit embarrassed and Rani softened her expression and smiled, " maafi nahin maangiye"

Geet fixed her duppata quickly and Maan tried to change the topic, " Hum jaa rahe hain..."

He walked away and Geet could see the tattoo on his back shining.

Geet frowned and Raja Prithvi chuckled, " Jab Maan ko ghussa aata hain, woh kahin chale jaate hain, aap fikar mat kijiye Rajkumari"

Geet nodded but felt a little uneasy. But, she managed to cover it up with a sweet smile... How would she be able to calm Maan down?
