Geet woke up in a blissful mood the next morning. The sun was shining and she couldn't feel any happier than what she was. She didn't remember much after the dance last night, the last vision she had was of Maan carrying her to the car. She must have fallen asleep after that. She wished they could have stayed in that beautiful setting, but they had to get back for university.

Geet (self-thought): That place was so peaceful and serene, mujhe bahut pasand aaye. If only we were there for longer, but university has to spoil everything. Uurggh.

She jumped out of bed and got herself ready. Geet was about to make her way into Maan's room but then she remembered he had an early lecture, so he probably had already gone.

Geet (self-thought): Mein toh bhool gaye, Maan had an early lecture, he has probably already gone. Ohh it would have been nice to go to uni with him. Now I won't see him till lunch.

She made her way to the car feeling miserable. The sky was no longer clear anymore as dark clouds began to form. Geet looked up and realised the weather has changed to her mood. She looked at her watch.

Geet (self-thought): 9.30. I have 3 hours until its lunch. I have to wait all that time till I can see Maan. God, the time is going to pass so slow. Babaji, please help me. Please make the time go quick, I am really missing Maan.

Like Geet had expected, the morning dragged and passed slowly. Geet could not concentrate, she wasn't in the right frame of mind. Her thought's were centered around Maan, like they always were. Even though they had been together yesterday, Geet felt like she hadn't seen him in an eternity. How she longed to be with him, snuggled in his arms. His presence made her feel so safe and secure, like nothing could ever harm her. How she longed to smell the scent of his irresistible aroma that made her lose her senses. How she longed to see his seductive smile that made her forget all her worries. He was just so damn gorgeous and he was hers.

She sat there daydreaming about Maan and didn't realise that everyone had left and the lecture room was empty. The sound of the door shutting jerked her out of wonderland.

Geet (self-thought): Where is everyone? Oh god, I have been to busy pondering about Maan and I missed the whole lecture. Well, that's one way of making time pass quickly. Yes, now its lunch, time to meet my jaan.

She hopped out of her seat and raced towards the canteen. She could feel excitement bubbling inside her, adrenaline rushing through her entire body. She pushed pass everyone, frantically trying to get there as quick as she could. When she entered the canteen, she almost fell. She made her way to the table where Yash, Meera and Sameera were sitting. But Maan was no where to be seen.

Meera: Hey Geet

Geet: Hi, where's Maan?

Yash: Aw missing him already are we. Tum fikar maat karo, he should be on his way

Geet (self-thought): Maan bi na. He has to come late today of all days when I am missing him like crazy. Babaji, please make him hurry

Geet sat there annoyed. She tried to act interested in what the other guys were talking about, but she couldn't. She continuously looked up at the door whenever it opened, hoping to see her jaan walk through, but he never did. Time began to pass more quickly and Geet grew more and more impatient. This was unlike Maan. Sure he could be late at times, but never this late. The others at the table noticed Geet worrying and tried to calm her.

Sameera: Geet, don't worry. He probably just got held up. He will be here soon

Geet: You guys said that almost 30 minutes ago, now lunch is nearly over

Yash: Come on Geet, relax

Geet: I can't. Sitting here is not going to help anything. I'm going to look for him

Geet made her way out of the canteen. She felt so frustrated and upset. No one understood how she was feeling. No one knew how much pain she was going through. She couldn't imagine her life without Maan. Not seeing him today made her realise how much she really needed him. She wondered around the areas she thought he could be, but no one was to be seen. She then decided there was only one place where he could be. The lecture room.

Geet made her there but she paused in her tracks. She could her voices coming from a nearby classroom. As he made her way closer towards the door, she instantly recognised one of the voices. It was Maan's. But he wasn't alone, someone else was with him. Geet tried to listen carefully, but she didn't know whose it was. As she peeped through the window, she saw a girl swish her hair. Geet was totally shocked. She stormed her way into the room and saw that Maan was sitting with none other than Sasha.

Maan: Geet, I'm sorry. I got held up

Geet: I can see that. What's going on?

Sasha: Oh Geet, so nice of you to join us

Geet: I wasn't talking to you so if you could mind your own business that would be nice

Maan: Listen Geet, this is not what it seems like

Geet: Then what is it, tell me

Maan: Look as you already know me and Sasha are on the same course. Our tutor has given us a project to do in which we have to work in pairs. Sasha didn't have anyone else to work with so I offered to work with her.

Geet: How long is this project for?

Sasha: 2 weeks

Geet (self-thought): 2 weeks? I have to put with this nonsense for 2 weeks. God why did Maan have to choose Sasha of all people to do this project with. I bet she is loving this.

Maan looked at Geet and saw her giving a dirty look to Sasha. He knew exactly what she was feeling right now. Jealous. He loved seeing her this way. It showed how much she actually loved him.

Maan: Geet, I will probably come home late today so don't wait for me, okay

Sasha: Yeah we have a lot of work to do so it will probably take some time. Isn't that right Maan?

Maan: Umm yeah

Geet: Fine

Maan: Geet, are you okay?

Geet: Perfect, never felt better

Geet was far from okay, in fact she felt like killing Sasha with her own two hands right there, but she couldn't. So instead she just stormed out of the hall and made her way to the gang to inform them that she was not feeling well and was going home as she didn't have any lectures anyway.

Maan knew that Geet didn't like his closeness with Sasha, however he felt in a naughty mood so thought of carrying on with this jealousy game a little longer, but he had to play safely because he knew what Sasha was like, she would do anything to get hold of him so he couldn't give off too many vibes.

As Geet made her way home, she was thinking of what to do. She knew that Maan could sense that she was feeling jealous yet he continued with his game. So Geet decided to get him back. She would give him a taste of his own medicine.

Geet (self-thought): What fool does Maan take me for? Well, I'll show him. Let the game begin.
