Do I love the quote or what. I remember when we were kids, and my uncle had told us this story:
That there are two mythical characters roaming this earth in flesh. One is Ashwatthama, and the other Hanuman. That once a long time back, a man had been roaming Maansarovar with his friends and he got lost in the mountains. When they found him, he seemed to be in a daze. He said he had wandered higher up looking for a camp site when he tripped on something. He peered closely at what looked like a part of a tail. and he followed it to the most stunning sight he had ever seen. There seated against a huge rock , resting on an elbow, and legs stretched in front ,was the most magnificent , gigantic human form he had ever seen. His beard was long and white and so were his hair, his skin ,wrinkled, and old, but alive and rested, beautiful and glowing.. the aura was blinding and he had had the barest glimpse of of half closed eyes on a face turned to the side, when he lost all awareness..The man could only tell so much before he went silent , .. he left everything and lived on the banks of a river for a few years before disappearing for ever. He never could come out of the daze.hmm.. half the time I dunno why I make some posts .. This might sound like taking the Gods in the quote in a too literal and a bound concept, but for me the story always was something more than just what it reads out to be.That the concept of God and the nature of devotion, has really been too trivialized. hmm. hell, I'll understand if you totally do not get the relation here.😆will comment on the part in a while Sooks. wanna read it again to enjoy. :)
When I read the story I was wondering if you had gotten it because of "Morningstar" reference. I will wait for your comment till then :-)
Ashwatthama and Hanuman yes. Actually there is one more immortal - Trishanku. Of course he doesn't walk on earth but he is very much a man.
There are several aspects of this comment which made me jump in joy because those elements are very much present in Convergence (if not now then in future). Let's see what you make of the update 😆
