PART-14

Next day morning. Maan opens up his eyes, the 1^st thing he finds that a heavenly beauty is lying there just within his embrace. Maan tries to recall about that last night, when they were in so much love & passion that can't even realize when did that stormy night pass by & a sunny day has come out. Maan gently kisses on Geet's forehead. His warm touch makes her awaken.

Maan : Good morning my Princess.

Geet smiles ...Good morning Maan.

Geet tries to restore herself from Maan'.

Geet: Maan , chodiye mujhe'...koi aa jayegaa..

Maan doesn't want to leave her, he nods his head for a 'NO' & pulls her hand again. Geet pops up her eyes'..

'MAAN'.!!!

No , its not Geet , this voice is coming outside the room'.it's Maan's Mother.

Geet stares at Maan worryingly; Maan assures her not to be worried & opens up the door.

Maan's mom gets shocked watching Geet inside Maan's room. Maan tries to explain about her situation to his Mom .He is telling that Geet has left her family due to some sort of situation & both of them want to get married , Maan avoids Geet's original identity & also those weird incidents very carefully. His Mom hugs Geet & caresses her cheek. Maan looks happy as it seems that she accepts Geet as her 'Bahu'. His mom is about to leave from there, but Geet stops her.

Geet: Maa, Maan ne jo kaha woh adha sacch hai, mujhe iish ghar ki bahu banane se pahle mere bare mein sab kuch jaan lena aapke liye zaruri hai.

Maan's mom looks pretty much confused, Maan signals Geet to stop right there, but Geet still continues.

Geet: Nahi Maan'...main Maa ko andhere main nahi rakhna chahti'...aaj nahi toh kal uunhe iish baat ka pata toh chalna hi hai naa!!! toh aaj hi kyun nahi.

Maan's Mom is gazing at both, as she can't figure out what Geet is saying.

Geet explains her everything, from how she met with Maan to that brutal experience of that night & finally she also tells her the truth behind Maan's amputated hand. Maan's mom gets shocked for a while. Geet can easily take a guess what would be the obvious reaction of Maan's mom, so before she could tell anything, Geet starts to disperse from there, Maan looks clueless. But surprisingly Maan's mom stops her.

Maan's mom: Beta, kahan jaa rahi ho aap'?

Geet: Maa, mujhe pata hai , yeh sach sunne ke baad aap'.

'main kaya'.!!! tumhe yeh lagta hai key yeh sach jaan kar main tumhe yahan par rahne nahi dungii!! she smiles, even Maan gets quite surprised after watching her reaction.

Maan's mom: Beta, main bhi ek aurat hun, main samajh sakti hun tum par kaya beeti hogi'...aur mujhe fakr hai key mere bete ne apni jaan daon par lagakar tumhe banchaya tha ushdin'...baki jo kuch bhi huya , uushe ek anhoni maan ke humein bhul jana chahiye beta'...Geet's eyes get drenched up, can't say a single word, just staring at her without a blink .Maan's mom continues...beta, mujhe khusi hai, iitna sab kuch hone ke bawajood bhi tum dono ek saath ho'...aur Maan, mujhe sabse achhi baat yeh lagi key Geet ne humse kuch nahi chupaya'...mujhe iish ristey se koi pareshani nahi hai beta'...main bahut khus hun'... aaj hi pandit ji ko bulake main shadi ki muhrat nikaalwati hun.

...'nahi Maa'...Geet interrupts.

...jabtak Maan apne makshad mein kaamiyaab nahi ho jaate'...tabtak hum shadi nahi karenge. Maan looks so very surprised.

Maan's mom: Par kyun beta'.?

Geet: Maa, main jaanti hun Maan mujhse bahut pyaar karte hain, aur unhke liye mujhse jayda important aur kuch nahi hai , par mere liye Maan aur uuhke carrier sabse jayda important hai'...uunhone jo sapna dekha tha woh jabtak pura nahi hota tabtak main uunhe kisi bhi bandhan mein baandhna nahi chahti.

...par Geet...Maan tries to say something.

Geet: Maan, main humesha aapke saath hun'...par aab aapka pura dhyan aapki carrier mein hoga'...main aapko phirse uush uunchayii pe dekhna chahti hun, jahan pe pahuchne ka khoyab aapne bachpan se dekha hai'...she indicates to that old , childhood picture of Maan , hanging down from the wall, dressed like a cricket, posing with a cricket bat. Maan's mom gets so much touched with Geet that she takes Geet in her embrace; both can't control their emotions, which come out as in form of heavy tears. Maan feels very satisfied as his mom accepts Geet by all her heart.

After a while both Geet & Maan's mom control their tears , suddenly Maan interrupts.

Maan: Mujhe practice ke liye late ho raha hai,main chalta hun...Geet gives him a smile, which conveys a thousand of meanings to Maan, he smiles back & departs.

In the field Maan's batting performance was awesome, even though he is playing with his left hand, still all the bowlers have to face a real tough time to beat him up. His coach is looking very much satisfied with his performance. After watching a few marvelous one-handed shots placed by Maan, coach comes directly on to the field, & hugs him in joy.

Coach: Maan, mujhe yakeen hi nahi ho raha hai , key tum apne right hand se nahi walke left hand se shots khel rahe ho'...you are amazing Maan'... koi right handed batsman ko apne left hand se bhi iitna achha shots lete maine aaj tak kabhi nahi dekha.

Maan looks shy...Samir enters into this conversation.

Samir: Aare Sir, hamara Maan sahab hain hi khaas'..

Coach: Bilkul sahi kah rahe ho Samir'...ohh, by the way, main ek baat batana toh bhul hi gaya, next week yahan pe ek Charity match hone wala hai, wahan pe Board ke ek selector aa rahe hain'...maine saree baate kar li hai, Maan , tum uush match mein hamare club ke liye khel rahe ho.

Maan : Par Sir'...Maan looks hugely surprised.

Samir: Kaya par-war...chup kar na, beech mein bolna zaruri hai, Sir aap continue kijiye plzz.

Coach: Hain Maan'...no excuse, tumhe yeh match khelna hi hai, kisi bhi kimat par, aur agar tuhne uush selector ko impress kar diya , toh samajh lo koi tumhe India team mein khelne se nahi rokh sakta'

Samir: Par woh kaise Sir'..?

Coach: Woh aise...jahan tak mujhe maaloom hai , agar Maan iish match mein achha perform karta hai, toh uushe anewale Delhi-Bangalore RANJY Trophy match mein ek chance diya jayegaa'...aur uush match mein bhi agar tumhara balla aisa hi chala naa'...toh '.

Maan: Toh'..!!!

Samir: Arre toh matlab balle balle '...mera dost INDIA team ka hissa ban jaayegaa, phir vice-captain, phir captain'...hayeee'.

Maan: Oyye, pahle mujhe Charity match mein toh khel lene de'...coach can't stop his laughter after watching them quarrelling like this way, he again wishes Maan & departs from there. As soon as the Coach exits, Samir starts his questioning to Maan.

Samir: Kaya baat hai'...aaj janab ka mood kuch jayda hi khus lag raha hai...!!

Maan : Baat hi aisi hai...

Samir: Reallyyy !!!!, aur tuhne abhi tak mereko bataya bhi nahi'...dekh liya teri dost..."aaye dost'''" Samir is again going to start one of his weird 'shaayeri', being stopped midway by Maan.

Maan: Bas kar...batata hun mere 'baap'. Maan describes everything about Geet, how she left her house, how they have decided to get married, how his mom has reacted into this situation...everything. Samir looks very happy after hearing all these.

Samir: Chalo, der aaye , durust aaye'...finally hamare BABA MAAN KHURANA sahab ko pyaar ho hi gaya'...Maan smiles shyly.

Samir: Ohooo'...blushing'!!! haaye, iiish Geet 'bhabi ' ne kaya jaadoo kar diya hai mere dost par...

Maan: Samir, aab tuh peetega merese...'chal yeh bata ,teri kahani kab tak aage badhi'..?

Samir: Meri kahani'...meri kaunsi kahani'.?

Maan: Reallyyy..!!!!.Arohi ka number liya tha tuhne...? Maan stares at him naughtily.

Samir: Hain'...woh toh kab ka...Samir just gets a slip of tongue...

Maan: Kyun bachhu pakde gaye naa'...Maan starts laughing, Samir joins him in.

Few days have passed by. Maan is surprisingly improving in his performance day by day. Geet feels very happy for him. Both have decided to tie the knot just after the charity match, as more or less it has been confirmed that Maan is going to play for Delhi in that RANJY Trophy match against Bangalore. Maan's mom is very happy with their decision. Today Geet is out with Maan's mom after such a long time; they both are going to the temple as she insists Geet to join her in there. In the temple, after doing all the puja, Maan's mom sits there to listen up the chant, while Geet's phone starts ringing up, its Maan, she takes the call & leaves from there, as there is so much noise inside the temple. She comes outside the temple area for having a long chat with Maan. After completing that conversation, when she is just about to her way back to the temple, suddenly hears a voice from her back'...GEET'..!!!!!... it sounds quite a familiar to her. She turns around.

Very beautiful update...Maan-Geet have decided to tie the knot...Geet has told everything to his mom...his mom has a great heart...she accepted everything with grace...now who has come...is it Dev? or brij? or Arohi?
