It's Wednesday and it's a holiday for Translucence. 😆 Thanks to everyone who are here reading, liking, commenting, theorizing and mildly weary of my treatment of Maan and Geet. I haven't been around answering all your questions because if I start answering them, I will be giving the story away. So please don't think that I am ignoring any comments; I don't. Thanks so very much for writing detailed analysis of the characters and their nuances. It helps me a lot when I retrospect on a newly posted chapter and provides me with various perception and interpretation of an incident. They are really, really helpful.

Any questions you wish for me to answer, post them to me today. I will answer them by end of this week.

I am glad that people have now come to understand Maan (also other characters for that matter) better than before. I remember the time when Maan confesses to Geet that he "likes" being with Vaidehi, there were frowns and scowls thrown in my direction. I hope after yesterday's update, it's clear where Maan and Geet are heading. 😊

That being said, Convergence, will be updated this weekend. Last weekend, I totally forgot about it as I was super busy drooling over Mizobata Junpei, reading half a dozen graphic novels and watching the anime - Earth girl Arjuna and Darker than black.

Now on to music for the day:

1. Kimi to Zutto (Always with you) by Yu-Yu: Ending theme of the Japanese drama - Detective Conan. It's a wonderful song aptly suited for the drama. I love the woman's voice and lyrics are little cheesy for my taste. But still, a very good song.

2. That Man by Hyun Bin (From Secret Garden OST): The Korean serial was an instant hit when it aired in winter of 2010. Its funny, has original dialogues and the characters are extremely endearing. (Okay the last three episodes were meh...) The singer in the song is the guy in the video and the male lead of this series. Lovely song!

3. Runaway Train by Soul Asylum: Great theme. Great music. Great band. My cousin gifted me tape that had twelve songs in it.. (Yeah I am that old!) This was the first song in that tape and till my walkman's battery died, I had listened to only this one song.

4. Be yourself by Audioslave: The voice sucked me in when I heard this for the first time. Chris Cornell is plain wonderful in this song. It's like a self-help book summarized in fifteen lines, used as lyrics in a song.

5. Tu Hi Tu from Kabhi na Kabhi: AR Rehman's then-popular, now-forgotten song. This song rarely features in anyone's ARR's favorite list. Its one of those 90s crap movie with amazing songs.

Aww can't listen to the songs :( I'm to lazy to get my headphones 😆

The lazy bug bit me last july and I'm yet to get the antidote. I'll listen to them later and comment :)

That's the lazy bug being squashed under my shoes...

now all of a sudden she feels her head being cleared of the fog in which it seemed to have stuck since last July; either that or the virtual kick on her ass that Sookie sends seem to have cleared up that fog.

And then she gets her headphones and listens to the recommendations...

It worked!!! It really worked!

Okay...

1. Was a little bleh for me. It just seemed a little to umm...I don't know how to describe it...it seemed a little to happy for me 😳 Like you said the lyrics are too cheesy for my liking and I felt like I was in some fairy world where the sun shines brightly, the birds sing and rainbows colour the sky.

2. THIS HAS TO BE MY FAVOURITE!!! I loved this song. I added this to my 'favourites' on youtube so I can listen to it again and again. I loved the music and the lyrics. Basically this is a song that compels you to listen to it again and again. I love the slow start and how it builds up. And kudos to the singer too 👏 boy it took me ages to find the clap emo and I realised it's on the side 😳

3. This song isn't bad, not as great as the above but it was not as crap as the first. Maybe if I listen to it a few more times it will grow on me.

4. This one left me a little disappointed. I really liked the start with the guitar (...or is it bass? *goes and listens to it again* ) and then he started singing and I just paused because it literally made my ears hurt. The music and singing just don't go...it seems off. But because you complimented the lyrics, I did search them and they are much better than the song! I really liked reading the lyrics.

5. Nice song, super weird video 😆 Only listened to half of it, but I added it to my watchlist and will go listen to it again later.

Ok i'm a lil brain dead, so Imma conveniently forget updating my reserved spot n up the TRP of this thread.😆

I hate Damini - If i had the chance of connecting my foot with her derriere, I'd gladly take it.

But, sadly, I do get 20% of where she comes from. And I hate that bit of selfishness in her and her weakness - but I don't blame her for craving love.

However, If seen from Geet's point of view - I so get the anger and the hatred. Had I been there, I'd probably have...aah well - the above lines😆.

Anyway - bout the music, Sook, I love Train and Drops of Jupiter is my all time fav - You seem to put up a lot of my fav stuff...touche!!

And as for today's collection - i like 60% of the songs.

I envy u ur time to catch up on books n stuff...I started a book (it's barely 200 pages) and I end up reading all of one line before I drop off from exhaustion.

How're you btw?? Still on painkillers/meds?

@Amruta: Am doing much better. Yes, still on pain med and the Japanese movie I am watching now (BECK, a movie about alternative rock music) is also putting me to sleep 😕 I lack a social life, that's what makes it easy to catch up on books and movies 😆
