This was one of the enlightening updates I would say...

Damini seems to have made some choices in life the timings and methods of which were not right.

Loved Geet today - i guess she's stronger that i imagined her to be - she is very protective about Maan. I loved her fiery replies to Damini. The concept of acceptance was bang on.

I was wondering, just as Maan at 20 had lost his head after seeing his mother with another man, maybe Vikram/Varun and Mitalee were equally affected when Damini had come over in their house with a new occupant... I mean the hurt is evident and justifiable on both sides...

I still dont seem to see how Maan is so "capable" enough - he has still not proven himself. Yes, he has a great degree but thats not all when you have a business to handle. I would much rather praise Vikram and Mitalee who worked hard to establish themselves irrespective of whatever means they used to do so.

S, did you stop sending me PMs since I said I will be out? I am still half a day away from leaving😃

Sometimes I think, love is probably the most abused and the least understood of all human emotions. I mean look at this "love is accepting the other person as they are and not asking them to be someone else" or "your love makes me want to be a better (wo)man- because you make me feel like I could be someone, someday"

Talk about not knowing what you want :)

I was thinking about this story the otehr day, and I think I am the only one probably- who finds her being miffed at Maan out of place.

They have no sort of emotional contract. They "were" friends while they were growing up, but as far as I can tell that friendship never went anywhere especially after Maan became the wild child. Sure they had a couple of moments- but then neither of them made any effort to explore where "they" could possibly go...so status quo persisted.

If Geet dislikes seeing Maan with other women (or have I got it wrong, and the reason she was pissed on seeing him with Vaidehi was far more altruistic than jealousy)- then thats her problem...if Maan has been on a downward spiral- I havent seen her do anything to stem that so far..but then that never stopped me from moaning- so cant really fault her =))

Coming to the update- Damini's entry into the story was quite a surprise..I guess at this point in the story, every relationship needs a catalyst to get moving- I hope Damini "aunty" has a domino effect!

It just feels so heavenly when we see Maan and Geet together...😳 They both have this bond that can't be defined in words...you have done a great amount of justice in developing their bond! 👏 👏

Now can't wait for the time they are officially togetehr... 😳 so many mysterious happenings...Maan's dad is some1...i know i like him...i guess and am sure and i want him to be positive... 😛 you know as surprise...😆

Now i wanna see wat happens when Maaneet eat Maggie... 😳 😳 should i blush??..i already am... ☺️

odd but I seem to feel sorry for Damini. I mean she probably had some feeling that DK will be in her life at some point which is why she had Maan with him. Then to be cast aside and treated the way she was, would probably break a person internally. Sometimes there is so much hurt within that the person is not able to fulfill their responsibilities any better than minimum. Seems the new guy gave her a lease on life and she grabbed it to pull herself out. Right or wrong I don't know and don't like to pass judgement but from her angle is would only seem right considering DK and his kids are a bunch of vultures.

Geet on the other hand would have a very hard time in this relationship. She can see what he is doing to himself with the alcohol etc and she was allowing it as a compensation for what he has suffered. I think with the Vaidehi issue, it was more that he was becoming a user of people like the rest of his family that had her disappointment lashing out at him. The protectiveness she shows towards Maan is for what he has endured.

It would take Maan to forgive his mother and realize that even though she is his mom, she is after all human and as such flawed. Very hard to forgive parents. It takes a great clarity of the mind and consciousness to do that. When he acheives his own self worth he may have a realization of what someone else went through. Maybe he will feel charitable at that point, still not sure if he will be able.

Sookie, I adore all of your writing and am always waiting for more. Also people who comment here, I am remembering so many bits of poetry and writing from you, Thanks.
