Maan "I am married!" geets lips froze on his... Her heart stopped beating, skipped several time. She felt dizzy, just couldn't understand what she to think...
She backs way slowly, confused...
Geet "when did you start to joke?" she smiles and sits up, along with maan, "I need to go home!" his voice didn't change which told geet he wasn't lying. Her heart skipped more beats, drinking saliva, not sure what to say or what to think...
Geet "what are you talking about?" maan looks way, because he just have made a mocary of the word marriage...
Geet started to shiver and instantly she backed way... Maan stood up, crossing his arm and leaned against the black tinned window... "I still love you!" he whispered... Geet just backed way... Barely could think. He is married, but they just...
Maan spines around, finding geet no where...
Geet covers her mouth, crying, what she have done... She wore one of her tight and maans White shirt... She hopes in her car and drove madly, unknowingly she went to maans home direction... Crying her eyes out... What she have done? He is married... She just may have stopped him from moving on... Oh no... She cried...
Maan was right behind her, rather worried now...
They stop there car right at the same bridge... Crying on there loneliness, she steps out of the car... Hugging her self under the cold shivering rain, maan instntly walks out, taking her back in... He closed the door... So no rain touched them... She cried her hearts out in his embrace, regretting at her action, what she have done? How could she? Why would she expect even after 5 long years maan would be waiting for her... How can she? "I am sorry.." she shivered, crying "I am so sorry... Meri koi haq nahi hi, koi haq nahi to walk out and walk in to your life like this... I am sorry..." she tries to push way, running way from him but maan didn't free her at all... He kept pulling her in.
Maan "aysa bath nahi hi geet..."
Geet "I am sorry." she pushed way again, it was like fighting, geet trying to push way while maan kept pulling her in. He could see the guilt of the night, oh he could never see that... It was there love.
Geet "meh bohot buri hu, bohot buri.." maan kept her close, Fearing if he let's go, she will do something silly. "I was never a good daughter or a girlfriend. Meh bohot buri hu..."
Maan "geet... Aisa math bolo..." he tried to control, but she wasn't stopping.
Geet "meri galthi hi maan, how can I be that stupid, how can I expect you to wait for me after all this years. Meh bohot buri hu. Girls like me could never deserve your love. Your pure love. I am evil.." she cried & with those words maans heart ached... He could dare not here now, not any more that his geet is bad. Never...
Maan "no..." she doesn't listen so maan snaps.. "GEET!" he shouts...
Maan "mera geet, kabhi bura ho hi nahi sakte. Kabhi nahi..."
He kissed her lips... "you are the only one who deserves my love... Just you... Maybe that's why I have never been able to move way from your memory.."
7 am... Maan walks in, it's time for breakfast, Maya smiled, he did look so tired.
Maya "mama aur papa went out..." maan kept quit, barely could say a word... "ap tik toh ho?" she comes close and check his temperature... He looked fine... He dare not look at those eyes, full of pain, unbearable pain and somewhere Maya could see through clearly.
When maan comes close to her, the thought of cheating hovers round in his mind, even though knowing, it's love, only love. His heart, every part will only belong to geet, no one els. Every right, every aspect of him is only geets. Nothing he could do to change that, nothing will ever happen that will change it, maybe that's why after 5 long years his heart still beats for her. Wasn't the word marriage about love, understanding. What's the point of marriage when there are no love! No commitment... There are only trust and faith, she trust me blindly, why? What he exactly done to win this trust, he don't deserve anything.
Maan "I am ok.." he turns around and walks off... Maya felt confused, rather surprised...
Maan didn't go to the office, while geet makes her way after lunch... She felt so guilty, just couldn't bare to look at anyone's eyes... How could she?
She was in deep thought when Maya walks in. No one knew that maan was even married... Nor they knew she is mrs khurana except pinky who she called to make an appointment for this visit.
Pinky stood up instantly... Shivering. She was soft and calm, a very innocent and sweet lady.
Pinky "ma-mam! You have called..."
Maya "good afternoon pinky..."
Pinky "good afternoon mam!"
Maya "maan looked really tired, is everything alright here? It's just he looks so worried!
Pinky "no! No... Sir looks normal.." Maya smiles sadly, wish she could help, but, it's like he is still living in his past...
Pinky "mam you came here for the first time, why don't you see your office!"
Maya smiles and nodes flowing pinky...
Both geet and Maya touches maans cabin door at the same time.
Maya "I am sorry!"
Geet "no, no I am sorry..."
Maya "please do go in, I will flow..." geet smiles, accepting her offer... She looked tiared, barely could stand, but still here to work.
Pinky "this is our accountant mam. She handles all the money. Miss khurana. And mam this is mrs Maya maan sing khurana." geets heart skipped beats, she almost stopped breathing. Her mind went blank, her heart was shattered, how many time maan haven't wrote that name in his diary, except it was mrs geet maan sing khurana... Instantly a tear threaten to come out... She showed a forcefull smile, with her painfull heart...
Maya "I guess we have same sir name now." she spoke softly, elegantly. Her voice was so sweet, everything about her was perfect, oh geet felt guilty, guilty to ruin her life like this...
Geet "oh... Meh... I.." she mumbled, barely could talk. Her heart beat raised, she have ruined someone's life...
Pinky "mam works with maan sir always, maybe she will be able to help you, why sir is so tensed now days!"
Geet looked at pinky in shock, her mind instantly went dead. She wasn't sure how to confront, she wasn't sure what to do and what to say. She feared...
Pinky "I will be back soon with some drinks mam."
Maya pleasantly smiled.. Then looked at geet, then her husband office... "it's such a nice office."
Geet forcefully smiles, she was fighting with the file she held. Sweating in a extent, like she have done a crime, but her heart cried how this should be her, she should be geet khurana, she never in her life thought about this day, not even in her wars nightmare.
Maya "tum maan ki bohot acci dost ho?"
Geet could never lie, her mind was only thinking about to hide, hide way, she seems so nice and naive, a gilt was building up... "no, I- I know him since - collage day!"
Maya "you must know geet then!" she was about to faint with her each word, "he love her. Allot.." Maya looks down sadly. A tear was about to come out, and respect in geets eye was increasing. "I am sure this is the reason he always styes like this, but lately he looks so miserable, specially today morning, he wasn't home all night!"
Geet sank to the ground. Her and maans moment of last night hit her hard.
Maya "do you know what happen? I really can't see him like that... It really hurts me allot..."
Geet "I- I... I.." her voice was stuck in I. She couldn't say another word. Her heart cried, oh what she have done, why did she return? Geet instantly rushes out, and maan walks in, both bumps in to one another hard, it nearly made geet unstable but maan holds her firmly. Geet looks at him for fraction of second and then quickly rushes out...
Maya "is she alright?" she asked worriedly. Maan wasn't sure what happen, but he could see his geet is pain. The dream of hers being his forever... He couldn't explain, how much his heart cried...
Maan "I will see... You wait here!"
Maya smiles and nodes...
Geet held her mouth, leaning against her canine door... She could barely think, barely whisper her inner Tromala.
Maan slowly pushes in... Locking the door behind... Geet backs way. Covering her face in shame... Maan comes up and hugs her tight, but geet tries to free her self... "what have I done? Why? What have I done?"
Maan "tumne kuch nahi kia!"
Geet "meh bohot buri ho! I have no right! Nothing..." she screamed on his chest. A silent scream.
Geet "I have stopped you, I have ruined your perfect life! How could I! What have I done!" she cried...
Maan "no... No!" he cups her face, looking right in.. "it's both of us!" geet nodes a no to him...
Geet "it's me, if I didn't leave that day, we would have been together. Wish I didn't listen to papa, other wise we would have been to gather today!" she instantly stops, realising what she just blurbed out. Maan slowly pushes her way, he never knew the real reason why she left him to die, why...
Both of there heart beat raised,
Maan "what do you mean?"
Geet mumbles trying to free her self, looking way, towards the door. She wanted to leave. Wanted to run out...
Maan "what did uncle say?"
Geet "it's nothing.. You need to know!"
Maan "geeet!" he grits his teeth. Holding her hand firmly, "what is it!"
Meantime Maya sat in maans cabin, looking through his file, one after another.. Taking some intrest in his work, she was surprised, how the business have grown since last months! Allot. She smiled... So proud, so happy... Maybe the work have stressed him out. She was worrying for nothing.
