Hi everyone!
So I don't know how many of you are familiar with this show called 'Khuda Aur Mohabbat' - it's a Pakistani drama, I personally love it, & while I was watching it yesterday an idea struck me...
(this FF is not based on the show, just inspired by it)

Geet Handa is a young 18 year old girl who lives in a strict patriarchal family in Punjab. Whatever her Darjee says, goes. No one dares to even speak out a word against his wishes.
Geet's parents passed away in a tragic accident when she was 5 years old... or so she's told.
The reality behind her parents' tragic death is that they were killed by none other than Darjee himself. Because Geet's mother and Darjee's daughter Rano, did the one thing she was forbidden to do.
Fall in love.
Which is what Geet finds herself falling into, when she meets Maan.

Maan Singh Khurana, a 22 year old businessman, has distanced himself from everything & everyone he knows.
He's carried the burden of guilt, shame & pain on his shoulders for the past 8 years of his life.
Each day passes him by in a haze, he never stops to register emotions & feelings.
Maan has convinced himself he's never capable of happiness after the incident which left him mentally scarred for life.
Until he meets Geet.
