Preethia – Maan's feelings are much stronger than Geet and he is sure he is in love where as Geet...she is still confused. Maan is also more experienced to worldly things and love due to his past and fame as a doctor. Geet is strong emotionally but is quite naive and innocent as well. Just like our serial...I hope this explains the difference. Maan definitely has work cut out to convince Geet

Chapter 16 – Pyaar ke liye kuch bhi karega

Maan spent next day or so dreaming and thinking about his Geet. She was everywhere around him. Home, Hospital even his car was filled of Geet's thoughts and aroma.

He was going crazy in love. "Main pagall ho raha hoon…tumhari yaad mein jaan…lekin ab to yeh bechani bhi achi lag rahi hai….pata nahin tumhara kya haal hai…kaash ki tum bhi mere bare mein soch rahi ho"

"Kya karoon...Kaise laaoon tumhein apne paas. Man to karta hai ki tumhein apne andar basa loon….bhag kar aa jaoon aur aise bhar loon aghosh mein jaise tum meri saans ho"

"Kuch to karna padega...par kya. What to do? I don't think I will be able make it as a long distance relationship especially so early….when I don't even know of her feelings. I have to be close to her to make her fall in love with me"

"I will do whatever it takes…Maan Singh Khurana kabhi haar nahin mang sakta and that too when it is matter of life and death"

Maan gave lot of thoughts to what can be done. But it was difficult. He was scared of anybody in family finding about his feelings. It could bring a storm as all were quite possessive about Geet. Finally after lot of ideas, rejections and thinking, he came up with a plan. He prayed to Babaji. Crossing his fingers he walked towards the first step of his plan – Annie's room

Maan knocked on Annie's room. Annie opened the door and her jaw dropped in shock of seeing her bro there.

Maan grinned "Muh band kar, machar chala jayega"

"Bhai aap…."

"I know recently I have been a very serious brooding bhai. Sorry guddan. Andar aa jaaon…tujhse baat karni hai"

Annie just hugged her brother. "I know bhai. Main bahut khush hoon aapko wapis paake."

"Thanks guddan"

Maan made himself comfortable on a bean bag while Annie sat on bed.

"Tune colleges mein apply kiya hai…kahin se kuch jawab aaya kya?"

"Haan Xavier aur Mithibai dono se yes aa gaya hai"

"Cool, to tune choose kiya kahan jaana hai tujhe"

"Nahin abhi nahin, kuch aur results aane baki hain…par bhai aap yeh sab achank se kyon puch rahe ho"

"Woh…." Maan hesitated "Actually, tune sirf Mumbai ke colleges mein hi apply kiya hai ya…"

"Haan except for LSR Delhi. That college is my absolute dream but it is tough. I thought ho jayega to I can stay with Bade Pa and Badi Ma"

Maan suddenly felt good "Cool…that's nice"

"Bhai, please aap mujhe bataoge ki aapke dimag mein kya chal raha hai"

"Actually, Delhi se waapis aane ke baad main soch raha hoon, ki dad/mom wahan kitne khush they. They were really happy and contended. So I was thinking, why don't we, shift back to Delhi forever. I mean, dad is trying to transition business responsibilities to Rajat (Maan's cousin) as we both are not interested. Mom is already retired and I think this will really bring happiness in their lives. For them, there heart is where bade pa and badi mom are" (Ritzy wonders - kitne shatir ho gaye ho Maan Babu…khud ka ullu seedha karna hai. He is keeping the gun on his parent's shoulder for his own benefit….par kya karien…after all everything is fair in love and war)

Maan patted himself with the self thought: "I know I am being selfish but then everybody is gonna gain from this move...right…koi nahin Maan….you are doing this for whole family and it includes you too. I may not be saying full truth but I am not lying either. After all Mom and Dad miss Delhi a lot."

"Lekin kisise koi bhi baat karne se pehle I wanted to talk to you. Off course mom and dad will be really happy. My only friend Adi is also in Delhi and it will be relatively easy for me to shift hospital as well. But I am worried about you as all your friends are here. If you have any hesitation, tell me guddan because I will never want to put you in any trouble. Sach sach bol de if this is a stupid idea"

By now Annie was listening quietly. Suddenly she started talking with excitement "No no bhai…I think it is a brilliant idea. You are right; this will bring new life to mom and dad"

Maan smiled to himself "me too guddan... me too...meri bhi nayi life wahin hai "

Annie continued "If you can manage then I have absolutely no issues. As a matter if fact I will be really happy. My friends - Tashu and Jia are leaving for USA for their further studies. If I got to Delhi, I will have Geet di and Pari bhabhi. Oh I am so excited bhai…I just can't wait. Let's go and talk to Mom and dad about this"

Maan was relieved seeing Annie's reaction. "Major battle won. Geet I am coming. Now nothing can stop me…ab main tumhein apna bane ke rahunga"

Maan and Annie went downstairs. Rishab was immersed in newspaper and Juhi was in kitchen. Maan and Annie sat down.

Annie "Dad...Mom …Maan bhai has come up with the most brilliant and exciting idea"

Rishab lowered his newspaper "achaa…kya idea hai"while Juhi came out of kitchen.

Annie nodded towards Maan and Maan started speaking "Dad, I think it will do good if we go back to Delhi…I mean move back to Delhi permanently"

Rishab and Juhi were shocked.

Maan continued quickly "Dad, you always planned to go back but because of Nanu's business you could not. But now Rajat can look after things and it will be a good time to move back when we can"

Rishab – "Lekin Maan, achank se aise"

Maan – "This trip to Delhi showed me what my entre family is missing dad. I don't want to waste any more time. Annie and I are also happy to move as there is nothing special stooping us in Mumbai"

Tears glistened in Juhi's eyes. "Thanks Maan and Annie. You are right. Life is just not complete without Raj and Nisha. Rishab, let's do it. Just imagine, we can all be together again. We can talk to them everyday." Juhi broke down with anticipation while Rishab comforted her by patting her back.

Rishab "you are right…."

He immediately picked up his mobile and called Raj. After all how could he take such a big decision without talking to Raj?

Raj -"Hello Rishab"

Rishab - "Raj, I am putting u on speaker phone. Everybody is here. What do you think of us coming back to Delhi?"

Raj - "you are more than welcome…Miss kar rahe ho na hamein...we are also missing you guys…kitne din ke liye aane ka soch rahe ho"

Rishab – "Hamesh ke liye"

Suddenly there was silence on the line.

"Hello…Raj u there?"

"Nisha…Rahul…Pari…Geet…jaldi idhar aao" "Tu sach kah raha hai Rishab…you guys are thinking of this seriously…dekh aisa ganda mazak mat karma….taangein tod dunga teri"

"Mazak nahin kar raha hoon….we are all in agreement bas teri marzi ka intezaar hai"

By now Nisha, Geet, Rahul and Pari had also gathered. Raj put the phone on speaker and updated everybody. All were really excited.

Geet "Bauji aap koi bhi fikar mat karo…Main Annie ka admission dekh lungi…bas aap jaldi se date fix karo aane ki"

After a long discussion and a planning session phone call was disconnected.

Maan self thought "Thanks Babaji…I take this as a sign that I am not wrong in thinking about Geet like this. I just want to loose myself to her. I want to be with her, see her, touch her…Maan control. Kisi ko pata chal gaya na to sabse pehle tere apne dad tera murder kar denge. Babaji, please meri madad karna."

Geet self thought "Cool, this is so exciting…Bauji, Beeji, Annie and Maan. Wow. Lekin yeh kya Babaji…main to Maan ko leke itni confused hoon…socha tha kuch dinon mein sab thik ho jayega…lekin aap meri mushkil kyon bada rahe ho…uske saamne kaise control karoongi apne emotions pe. Chi chi Geet…he is family…your family is going to be together aur to Maan ke bare mein aise soch rahi hai. Waise bhi thode din hai na. Just control your feelings. Thand pa…Babaji, please meri madad karna"
