First of all sorry guys for a late update. It was my son's birthday yesterday and we had a great party (atleast for my son?.you can imagine my plight with 15 kids running around in my house😃😃😃)

Thanks for your cute comments. I am not able to reply but hopefully my life will be on track from next week.

Last chapter was dedicated to Geet's POV. So here is Maan's day same time... what he is thinking?does he even miss Geet. Hope you like it. Enjoy!!!!

Chapter 15 - Kya yehi pyaar hai...haan...haan?yehi pyaar hai

Dil tere bin kahin lagta nahin?waqt guzarta nahin

Same time, Khurana Mansion Mumbai

Maan was sleeping when he felt wet hair seducing his cheeks. A sweet aroma was engulfing him. He parted his eyes slightly to see the face of an angel wrapped in a white bathrobe. He was lost in those hazel eyes when she whispered "Utho Naa"

"Aise Nahin" Maan replied with mischief glinting in his eyes.

"To kaise uthenge"

Maan finally gave into his desire as if this is what he wanted to do with his last breath. He snaked his hands into her wet hair and pushed her rosy lips onto his. Her lips felt like petals and he wanted to part them to explore the secrets they were hiding. He caressed them with tip of his tongue forcing them to part. He finally reached his manzil and started tasting her. She tasted sweet like honey. His Mishti?his jaan.

Suddenly she pushed him and straightened herself. "Good Morning Mr. Khurana. Aaj hospital nahin jaana hai kya?"

"Nahin?aaj tumhari baahon mein hi sona hai." He snuggled in her lap playing with the robe's knot.

She slapped his hand and got up with a huff "chaliye uthiye?.koi bahana nahin sunungi main?phir late aaoge aur kahoge tumhari wajah se late hua"

Maan sighed and got up pouting his lips. She just smiled and pecked him. "Good Morning Jaan"

Maan opened his eyes to find himself hugging and kissing his pillow. He exhaled heavily "Maan Singh Khurana has officially lost it...oh but it is not entirely my mistake?I can really do with getting up like this everyday. Oh how nice it will be if Geet was really here."

"waise woh yahan hogi bhi to kya hoga?I am such a wimp?sapne mein bhi knot nahin khola 😳😳😳 "

"Maan?gadhe sudhar jaa?.kya soch raha hai tu Geet ke bare main?yeh sab kya hai?kisi ko ghar mein pata chal gaya ki tu uske bare mein aise x-rated thoughts soch raha hai to zinda zameen mein gadh denge"

"Dreams ke bare mein kaise pata chalege?.aur waise bhi yeh koi mere haath mein hai"

"Nahin nahin?God please help me?this girl is driving me crazy?.aakhir mujhe hua kya hai?.am I in love. Bahut ho gaya?jab se dili se aaya hoon, ek minute ko bhi use nahin bhul paya. Har waqt usko miss kar raha hoon. Just yesterday night I spoke to her and all I want is talk to her again, see her again , touch her gain, kiss her again?..Maan stop?just stop it right there"

Just like the entire last week, Maan was restless the whole day. But he realized he was a changed man. Even though he missed Geet like crazy but he felt light hearted; as if a big burden has been removed from his heart. Even his mom and Annie were shocked with him spending more time at home and he actually smiled. But what drove them most crazy was his taking up music again. He knew Geet was responsible for this change in him. Suddenly he wanted to sing and play his guitar everyday. He knew he needed to analyze his feelings for her. Things could not carry on like this for too long.

After office, Maan drove to his favorite place for some hard thinking and soul searching. He sat at his corner of the beach with a bottle of beer in his hand watching the waves break on the sand. Serenity of the night brought some calmness to his listless heart.

His thoughts wandered towards his past with Sameera. "When Sameera broke my heart, it left me lifeless. But one thing is sure, when Sameera was gone I never felt sad. Yes, I was angry and bruised. My ego was hurt but I never wanted to see her again. I didn't compromise on my research and didn't go after her. So was that only infatuation? After all she was the most popular girl in college. So what was it? Just a conquest!!"

"I am more mature now and I know that what I feel for Geet is deeper. . . I can do anything for her or can I? Am I even worth her? If Sameera was just a conquest for me then what does it make me? A shallow and a selfish person."

Maan's head was filled with shame and disgust for his past. "I know probably I am not as good as a person as Geet deserves. But I love her. I really do. And if there is no one other than me in her life who has feelings for her than I will make my life and love worth her. I can't let go off this chance to redeem my heart. I will prove it. Not only to her but to myself too. I have to prove that I am worthy of loving an innocent girl like Geet"

With a new realization and purpose, Maan finally walked towards home. There were still questions around how he will achieve what his heart had set out to do but one thing was sure. He was a determined man with a new mission in his life. A mission which finally brought solace to his wounded heart.
