Geet walked closer and behind her rushed Akashi, Meera and Rani Abha. " Geet?!" exclaimed Rani Abha a little puzzled. Geet put her hand up to stop all the ladies from talking or asking questions.

Geet stepped closer and she heard Maan's voice... and Tej's voice... along with Sumer Singh... Geet pushed the white curtains aside and saw Naintara on the floor constantly laughing hysterically.

" I'll drag her to hell... She'll be burning with me..." chanted Naintara.

" Disgusting woman" said Tej as Naintara was in chains.

" Aapki himmat kaisi hui kay aap Rani ko choot ponchayein?" demanded Maan as he sounded furious. Naintara spit at the mention of Geet. " Dirty prostitute" mumbled Naintara as she bit her nails.

Geet looked so shocked, but then again... she knew not to interfere into Maan's matters. " You'll be rotting in chains forever" snapped Maan. Naintara pointed at him and laughed wickedly.

" Churail!" yelled Geet as she clutched the side of her dupatta and stormed up behind Maan.

Naintara looked over and smirked, " Aagayi Rani GEET" " Aap ek purush hain kya Raja sahib? dharam patni ke pallu mein lipte hue hain kya?" sneered Naintara...

Geet looked at Naintara... she looked completely insane. Her eyes were bright red and she had smeared sindoor all over her maang. and her fingers looked bruised up as they struggled against the chains. She looked like a wild woman... mentally insane...

" Chup ho jayiye!" yelled Geet. " Agar ek aur shabd bhi kaha Raja sahib ke khilaaf... to aapka itna bura hashar karenge kay aapko marte dum tak yaad hogi!!" snapped Geet. "Rani... aap jayiye yahaan se!" ordered Maan. Geet looked at Maan with protesting eyes, but he only wanted her to go...

Geet sighed and Akashi put her arms around her shoulder, " Chaliye Rani saa"

Geet nodded and she only said, " Aapko itni asaan mtrityu nahin milegi Naintara... yeh humara vaada hain... yeh Rani Geetakshi Maan Singh Khurana ka vaada hain aapse"

Naintara just snickered, " Go to Hell..."

Geet stormed out of there... and she went directly into the servant head quarters where Soni was still resting. Geet walked in and all the servants that were around Soni, taking care of her... stood up and they said, " Khambagani Rani saa"

" Ekaant" ordered Geet. The servants left, leaving Soni lying there... Geet sat down beside her and she took the wet cloth and put it on Soni's forhead to cool her fever down.

Akashi was about to come in until Geet softly said, " Ekaant Akashi"

Akashi nodded and she left...

" Soni.." whispered Geet. Soni slowly opened her eyes and she saw Geet there. She tried to get up, but it hurt so much that she laid back down. " Nahin uthiye.." said Geet.

" Geet... aap yahaan? humay bula liya hota.. hum aajate" said Soni softly. " Chup ho jayiye! aap zakhmi hain aur hum aapko iss halat mein nahin chor sakte" said Geet. Soni only slightly smiled, " Aap kaisi hain... humnay suna tha kay aap behosh ho gaye... aap kabhi apna khayal nahin rakti.."

" Hum theek hain... aur aapko bhi theek hona hain... par humara mann nahin lag raha tha aapke bina... aapse baatein karna... din bitana... aap humari sabse achi saheli hain" smiled Geet. Geet felt good to be around Soni, because it seemed like the only one to listen to her... and to truly understand her besides Maan was only Soni...

Geet told Soni about everything and Soni only quietly listened to her. " Iss liye hum bohot pareshaan hain Soni" said Geet.

" Geet.. aap fikar mat kijiye.." said Soni softly.

" Humay bus yeh choti si jaan ki fikar hain" said Geet as she touched the tiny bump. " Aapko khush hona chahiye..." said Soni. " Hum khush hain... par yeh Rajkumari Naintara humay pagal kar dengi!" said Geet.

Soni put her hand on Geets and said, " Humara vishwaas kijiye... kuch nahin hoga iss nanhi si jaan ko..."

Geet trusted Soni's opinion and she just talked to her until Soni fell back into sleep. Geet crept out of the room and she went directly to her chambers. She found that the servant girls were making her bed and preparing the wash basin.

Geet was too tired... she needed rest.

" Ekaant" said Geet as she entered... The servant girls left and closed the door behind them. Geet sat down on the bed and thought about the thing that happened in the last two days.

Geet took her duppatta off and loosened her hair... and took her heavy jewellry off. She laid on the bed... She put her hand on her stomach and then she closed her eyes... suddenly, she felt sick and shot out of bed.

She ran towards the washbasin and threw up... Geet was going insane... she felt so sick... It was hard for her to even concentrate. She threw up for about an hour until she felt weak on her knees.

" Akaaashi... Soniii" called Geet as she was clutching onto the walls.

" Akaaashi... Soni... koi haaiii!" screamed Geet.

Suddenly, servant girls came rushing in and they saw Geet almost on the floor. " Get her to bed!" ordered Akashi. The girls helped Geet to her bed and cleaned everything up. Geet looked so pale... Akashi pulled the covers over her and took off her maang teeka...

The servant girls tended to Geet... " Jab koi iss halat mein hota hai to phir aisa hota hai" said Akashi to Geet. " Humay-"began Geet. " Nahin... aap araam kijiye" said Akashi. Geet slowly closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.

As the servant girls cleaned up the room and warmed up the water for Geet's bath when she would wake up from sleep.

Just then, Maan entered and all the servant girls stood in a straight line and their ghunghats were down in front of him. " Khambagani Raja sahib" whispered all the girls in unison. Maan looked at Geet who was fast asleep... It was early in the day? She usually is out in the courtyard with Meera or her mother.

" Rani saa ki tabiyat theek hain?" asked Maan. Akashi stepped forward, " Rani saa ki tabiyat thori si bigar gayi hain..."

Maan started to worry... this was happening too often. " Ekaant" said Maan. The girls nodded and they all left quietly out of the room, closing the large doors behind them. Maan took his shoes off and sat on the bed beside Geet. She looked pale, but she was looking very peaceful. Maan could see the little bump on her stomach and he only smiled... He was so proud of what the result was after their union... Maan stroked her forehead and kissed her sleeping eyes.

He quietly slipped out of bed and began pacing around the room... " Yeh Rajkumari ka kya hoga... unka kya karenge? agar woh yahaan rehi to jaane kya karengi..." thought Maan.

He turned to look at Geet again, " Agar humari jaan bhi chale jaye... Geet ko kuch nahin hona chahiye" thought Maan. Maan paced around for almost half an hour.

He sat on the edge of the bed thinking deeply about what he should exactly do.

On the other hand, Geet slowly started to open her eyes and she yawned a little. She sat up slowly and saw that Maan was sitting on the edge thinking deeply. He never did that... what was wrong?

She combed her hands through her long brown hair and said, " Maan..."

Maan turned around and he smiled, " Jaag gayee aap?"

" Ji haan" smiled Geet. She shuffled towards Maan and put her arms around him and said, " Kya hua?" Maan stroked her hand, " Kuch nahin Geet"

" Aapko jhoot bolna bilkul nahin aata Maan" whispered Geet as she kissed him on the cheek. " Itna prem aarah hain hum par Rani" joked Maan.

" Hum aapse prem karein... aur kis se karein?" teased Geet. Maan turned around to face her and he said, " Aapki tabiyat kaisi hain.. Akashi ne humay bataya kay aapki tabiyat theek nahin hain"

Geet went into his arms and said, " Humay bohot pareshani ho rahi hain"

" Kyun?" asked Maan. " Humay darr hai kay agar Rajkumari yahaan rahi to..." began Geet. " Kuch nahin hoga... hum par vishwaas kijiye... " whispered Maan.

" Agar humari jaan bhi chale jaye... to hum apna prem de kar jayenge" said Geet as she put his hand on her stomach. " Geet... aisi baatein mat kijiye" said Maan as he held her tighter.

" Kuch nahin hoga humaray prem ko..." said Maan as he kissed her forehead.

" Aur Pitta jii aur Maa saa aur bhai saa bhi kal jaa rahe hain naa... issliye hum thore se udaas hain" said Geet. " Hum Jodhpur bhi jayenge.." said Maan. Geet broke out of the embrace, " Maan!? sach mein?!"

Maan smiled, " Jab yeh nanhi si jaan iss dunya mein aajaye... phir hum chalenge"

Geet was so happy! She hadn't visited her maayka since she got married...

"Dhanevaad Maan!" said Geet as she hugged him again.. " Aapki khushi... humari khushi Geet" smiled Maan.

The next day, Geet said goodbye to her mother, father and brother. " Maa saa.. aapki yaad humay bohot aayegi" said Geet as she hugged her mother tightly. Tears rolled down Geets eyes and Sumer Singh only put his hand on his daughters head, " Sada suhagan rahiye"

Geet hugged her father quickly and she cried, " Aap aur nahin rukh sakte?"

" Nahin Geet... humay jaana hoga.. yeh aapka sasural hain aur zyaada der tak hum nahin reh sakte..." said Sumer Singh. Geet nodded and then she hugged Tej... " Bhai saa..."

" Arey pagli... ab aap Jodhpur aayein... aapka kaksh abhi tak saja hua rehta hain..." said Tej as he hugged Geet. " Chaliye.. ansoo pochiye..." said Tej. Geet wiped her tears and she tried to smile, " Hum aayenge"

" Chaliye... hum chalte hain jamai saa" said Sumer Singh as he folded his hands. Maan touched Sumer Singh's feet and Sumer singh blessed him.. " Jeete raho"

Maan also touched Rani Abha's feet and she blessed him as well. Maan and Geet walked them to their procession that was about to leave to Jodhpur.

Rani Abha was helped into her palanquin and Tej and Sumer Singh climbed onto their horses. They waved for the last time... and Geet waved goodbye, while Meera and Dadimaa were behind them and seeing them off.

Geet felt sad... she wanted them to stay longer but they had to go back sooner or later. " Araam kijiye bhabhi saa" said Meera as she put her arms around Geet. Geet nodded and Maan smiled and nodded... He left with his ministers towards the court.

Geet, Meera and Dadimaa walked to her chambers and Geet only sighed, " Jaane kya hoga aab"

**************************9 MONTHS LATER**************************

Geet was resting in her chambers... she always felt tired... Soni was back to health and was always tending to Geet. Geet was nine months pregnant and she felt like her belly was about to burst...

" Soniii" called Geet as she tried to get up. " Ji GeeT?!" rushed Soni. " Humay paani chahiye" said Geet a little breathlessly. Soni nodded and she went and poured a cup of water for Geet.

Geet was about to drink it until she heard a loud scream... She dropped the cup and she said, " Soni!?! yeh kis ki awaaz hain"

Even Soni was surprised, " Rajkumari Meera nahin ho sakti..."

" Awaaz wahaan se nahin.. yahaan se arahi hain Soni... " said Geet worriedly. Geet didn't care... she said, " Soni.. humari madat kijiye!"

Soni nodded and she helped Geet up and Geet put her dupatta on and covered her bulging stomach. Soni helped Geet out of her room and she slowly walked out of her room to see no one there. .

" Koi nahin hain Geet... chaliye..." said Soni. " Nahin... Raja sahib kahaan hain?" asked Geet. " He is in the royal court at the moment" said Soni. " Unko abhi aur issi waqt bulayiye" said Geet.

" Par Geet-"began Soni. " Jayiye!" ordered Geet. " Hum ek sevak ko bejhte hain" said Soni. Geet nodded and she started to breathe hard... " Geet. aap theek hain naa?"

" Humari saanse phul rahi hain..." said Geet a little breathlessly. Soni laughed, " Aisa hota hain Geet"

Soni called a servant boy over to call Maan. Geet walked a little bit more to find Meera sitting in the courtyard alone... " Meera" said Geet breathlessly. Meera looked up and her eyes went wide, " Bhabhi saa! aap yahaan! aap iss halat mein bahar nahin aasakti!"

" Hum aapko dekhne aaye thay" said Geet. The servant girls brought cushions for Geet to sit on, and Soni slowly helped her to sit down. Meera sat down in front of her and said, " Aap ne kuch suna bahar bhabhi saa?"

" Haan.. humne suna tha.. par woh kaun tha" said Geet. " Woh... Rajkumari Naintara hain..." said Meera quietly. Geets eyes went wide, " Woh abhi tak yahaan hain?"

" Jii..." said Meera. " Lekin kyun!? woh itnay mahinay chup rahi thi.. aur aab kya ho gaya hain?" asked Geet. " Bhai saa ne yeh faisla kiya hai kay unko door bheja jaye..." said Meera.

" Matlab?" asked Geet. Geet heard the loud scream again and this time it said, " WITCH"

Geet shuddered, " Yeh kya ho raha hain!"

Just then, Maan came walking up and said, " Rani.. aaptheek hain?"

Geet smiled, " Aapke laadle humay tang kar rahe hain"

" Kuch mat kahiye humari laadli ke baray mein" joked Maan. " Laadli?" said Geet. " Ji haan... humay lagta hai kay ek laadli humaray angan mein janam lengi" said Maan proudly.

Geet was about to say something until she felt two kicks at the same time. " AAHHH!!" yelled Geet as she clenched her stomach. Maan quickly kneeled down and put his arms around her, " Geet! kya hua! phir se dard hua!?"

" Maan..." said Geet breathlessly. " Hum aapko kaksh mein le jaate hain!" said Maan as he picked her up in his arms and Meera and Soni ran after them. " Maan! humay lag raha hain kay woh aanay wale hain!" said Geet breathlessly.

Geet screamed and then Meera said, " Shayad woh waqt aagaya hain! Soni! Call the physcians! and Dadimaa!"

Soni nodded and Maan carried Geet while she was crying and screaming, " MAAAN.."

Maan quickly carried Geet into their chambers and the physicans came running in and said, " Raja sahib! aap jayiye! Rani saa ab janam dene wali hain!"

Maan put her down and he hated seeing Geet screaming and crying... " JALDI KIJIYEEE" screamed Geet.

" Araam se Rani saa!" said the ladies. Maan went out of the room and he was joined by Meera who was standing outside with him consoling him. " Kuch nahin hoga bhabhi saa ko" said Meera.

" Unki fikar bohot ho rahi hain" said Maan as he heard the screams outside of their chambers. Maan wouldn't move an inch... he didnt want to leave. He felt like going in there and taking all the pain away. He had never heard Geet scream like that before...

Geet went on for about a few hours and Maan only paced around furiously for about five hours... He had not eaten anything, nor had he changed or anything. He was worried sick about Geet.

Maan was pacing around until he stopped... he heard a cry... a baby cry..He looked over and he smiled, " Meera!"

" Humnay suna!" said Meera excitedly...

Maan was about to go again until he heard another cry... but this one was more lighter than the last one... One of the ladies came out and she said, " Raja sahib.. aap abhi thori der se dekh sakte hain..."

" Boy or Girl!?" asked Maan. " Woh hum nahin bata sakte Raja sahib... Rani saa ne mana kiya hain" said the lady with a smile. " Par kyun?!" asked Maan. " Aap unse hi poochlein..." said the lady.

Maan sighed and nodded, " Chaliye.. hum thora sa aur intezaar karenge"

The lady nodded and she went back in.

Meera hugged Maan, " Bhai saa! badhaaii!... aap pitta ji.. aur hum bua saa ban gaye hain!"

Maan smiled... he had little tears brimming in his eyes... his child...!

After half an hour, one of the ladies called Maan in to see Geet and the new baby. Maans heart was racing and he stepped in to find Geet laying down smiling... " Ekaant" said Geet.

The servant girls and the ladies left, leaving dadimaa and Meera only left in the room. Maan looked at Geet and he smiled... he sat down beside her and took her hand, " Aap theek hain?"

Geet only nodded peacefully and she said, " Dekhiye..."

Dadimaa and Meera brought the babies over. Maan looked over and he was surprised. " Geet? do?" kaisay?"

" Ek ladka.. ek ladki" said Geet softly. Maan had tears brimming inhis eyes, " Geet! aapne humay sabse bari khushi di hain!

He stood up and he took his children in his arms. He took his baby girl in his arms first and kissed her nose, " Ek dum pari jaisi" said Maan softly...He cradled her in his arms and then said, " Humara beta?"

Meera took the baby girl and Dadimaa gave him the boy... he kissed his son on the nose and cradled him... " Humara raja..."

Maan was overjoyed! The king of Jaisalmer had twins... boy and girl! This was more than what they had asked for and Maan said, " Hum bara sa jashan karenge ab... humara raja aur pari... janam le chuke hain!"

" Maan bete... first the naming ceremony and then" said Dadimaa. " Ji Dadimaa" said Maan. " Hum unko akela chor dete hain Meera.. chaliye" smiled Dadimaa as Meera gave the baby girl to Geet.

Geet kissed her children on the forhead, " Humara prem..."

" Humay yakeen nahin araha Geet!" said Maan as he sat on the bed where Geet was sitting up holding her children. " Dhanevaad Geet... aapne humay yeh dono tofay de diye hain"

" Yeh sab aapke liye Maan" smiled Geet. " Aap bohot pareshaan ho rahi thi iskay baray mein" said Maan. " Agar ek Rajkumari janam leti phir hum utna hi khush hotay kyunki woh humara khoon hain... humari beti" said Geet as she kissed her daughter on the nose.

" Aur humara rajkumari bhi aaye hain... " said Geet as Maan shuffled closer so Geet could her son on his tiny nose. " Aapne naam soch liya hain?" asked Geet. " Humari rajkumari ka soch liya hain... soch rakha tha pehle se" whispered Maan.

" Acha? aur humnay kya socha.. yeh nahin poochenge?" asked Geet. " Yeh hum bhool sakte hain kya?" smiled Maan.

" Arjun" said Geet. " Arjun?" asked Maan. " Arjun..." repeated Geet as she kissed her son on the forhead.

" Humari beti?" asked Geet.

" Payal..." said Maan.

" Payal...?" asked Geet.

Arjun aur Payal... Geet and Maan would be proud parents of a prince and princess...

The next day, it was the naming ceremony and Geet was brought down with her children in the utmost splendour and Geets parents and brother were there as well.

Rani Abha cradled her granddaughter and grandson with her arms, " Naazar naa lage..."

The naming ceremony was to begin and they performed all the prayers before determining a name. Geet was praying that it would end up being A and P for her children.

The priest had said that the girls name needed to start with a P and the boy with an A...

Geet and Maan looked at eachother beaming in pride, " Rajkumar Arjun Maan Singh Khurana aur Rajkumari Payal Maan Singh Khurana" said Maan. Everyone cheered! All of Jaisalmer was celebrating... it was a joyous atmosphere!

Geet would not let her children out ofher sight, she was always tending to them... " Rajkumari bilkul aapki tarah hain Geet" smiled Soni as she cradled Payal in her arms.

" Aur Rajkumar bilkul Raja sahib ki tarah hain" said Soni. Geet and Soni put the children in the wooden cribs that were held up with soft fabric and you could lightly rock it.

" Soni... aap jayiye..." said Geet as she heard Maan coming in. " Ji Geet" said Soni as she got up quietly and left. Maan came in and closed the large doors behind him and smiled, " Humaray bachay kaisay hain?"

" Woh apne pitta jii ko bohot yaad kar rahe thay" said Geet as Maan sat on the floor beside Geet and put his arm around her. " Humay yakeen nahin aaraha kay hum maa saa ban gaye hain!"

" Aur hum pitta jii" smiled Maan. " Humara rajkumar bilkul aapne pita jii par gaya hain... " said Geet as she kissed Maan on the cheek. " Itna prem aaraha hain Rani saa?" said Maan as he inched closer to her.

Geet softly pushed him away, " Sharam kijiye... aapke do bache ho gaye hain aur aap apni purani aadat bhool gaye naa?"

" Kaunsi poorani adat... humay bhi batayiye" said Maan as he got close to Geet even more. She was about to say something until Payal started to cry and Geet jolted out and took her into her arms.. " Kya hua pari..?"

Geet hushed Payal down with a soft lullaby that her mother use to sing to her when she wouldn't be able to sleep. Maan was surprised at the sudden motherhood of Geet... he had never seen this side of her. She knew exactly what to do and knew why her children were crying. Maan took Arjun in his arms and cradled him around, " Humara beta... Arjun... Arjun Singh Khurana"

Maan was so proud. His angel-like daughter and precious son... Geet had given the gift that he wouldn't be able to repay or gift back to Geet.

Geet and Maan were awake all night taking care of their children... " Maan.. humay dar lag raha hain" whispered Geet. " Kyun Geet" asked Maan. " Rajkumari Naintara... " said Geet. Maan understood... " Woh kuch nahin kar payengi.."

" Par.. aap unko door kyun nahin bhej sakte?" said Geet. " Hum nahin kar sakte... Ajmer kay log phir unpar vaar karenge... unki maut ho jayegi agar woh wahaan jayengi... aur yeh insaniyat kay khilaaf hain..." said Maan. " Aap theek keh rahe hain" said Geet. " Hum aapki bezaati bilkul bhi nahin bhoolay Geet..." said Maan reassuringly.

" Humay kuch bhi ho jaye.. par Arjun aur Payal ko kuch nahin hona chahiye" said Geet. " Aisi baatein mat kijiye... hum sab ek saath hi rahenge.. aur yeh Raja Maan Singh Khurana ka vaada hain aapse..." said Maan. Geets heart glowed... she trusted him with every bit of her soul.

Maan and Geet put Arjun and Payal between them as they laid them down on the bed. Maan had Payal right beside him and Geet had Arjun right beside her... They slept with the soft sounds of their babies sleeping...

Geet woke up early in the morning and so did Maan... they took care of Arjun and Payal... Maan went out so Geet could get ready... Soni and Akashi took Arjun and Payal and cradled them in their arms, while Geet was taking a bath...

Geet was dressed in a yellow lengha choli and made sure that her nathani was on right... she put her maang teeka on with sindoor. Geet looked at her children and smiled... " Arjun and Payal are so lucky to have a kind and beautiful mother like you Geet" said Soni. " I am lucky to have such sweet children" said Geet as she slipped rings onto her fingers.

" Aap aur bhi sundar lag rahi hain Geet" smiled Akashi. " Dhanevaad Akashi" smiled Geet as she had her duppata draped over her head. Geet wanted to take a walk outside...

Geet walked out while Soni held Payal and Akashi held Arjun... she enjoyed the fresh air... And again... Geet was interrupted by the louder screams and wails... " Hum nahin jaante! Rajkumari ko yahaan se jaana hoga!" thought Geet. She needed to get rid of Naintara once and for all for the betterment of her children.
