He indicated her to follow him to the terrace; she obliged him, both stood there,
after much of hesitation, which she sensed but she too was feeling awkward, he pointed his finger telling her to change the style of her veil which she was wearing covering herself in a v shape,
she raised her eyebrow asking then how should I wear,
he put one hand on his shoulder and pointed side ways,
she put her veil on her left shoulder and let it slip from the right one and again looked at him for approval
he smiled and then raised his right hand indicating her to put the other part on her arm,
she did as told, he indicated in a thumbs up,
when she was done she scanned him as if saying not bad, then as her eyes went to his feet,
she hit her head, pointing at his shoes like what's this,
he shrugged any thing wrong,
she asked him to wait and went his room and came back holding a pair of Jodhpuri's in her hands, and gave them to him smiling widely,
he took them and changed his footwear,
NT who was observing all this behind the curtains again thanked God and promised herself that she will defiantly have this girl as her sister in law.
Then she quietly went down,
Dadi asked her about Maan's whereabouts she just shrugged and said she does not know
Downstairs Meera's family had come, and both Rajji and Meera were looking for Maan and Geet.
R: hey NT where's Geet
NT: she might be somewhere here
M: and where is that stupid Maan
NT: just getting ready
M: really! remember, how can you? you were not there, in your marriage we all just have to drag him out, and you know he was not even dressed up and he just sat there wearing those loosely fit ridiculous clothes of his, seriously NT he needs someone to tell him that its high time he should at least dress properly
R: who purchases his clothes?
M: he him self does, and what ever NT brings only enhance his wardrobe collection
NT: not today M, see, you are his friend and are going to become her sister in law today he will definitely dress up in style
R: style and Maan are two different things, just as Geet and style are, you know M, I am surrounded with two most unstylish people, one my sweet cousin and other my good friend, poor me, both never listen to me
M: yes NT you should meet Geet she is Ms. Maan you may say Maan in a girl's disguise, she also hates to communicate, and above all adores books.
R: forget it. Let me go and find her before she hides herself in some place we can't find.
M: let me go and see where Maan is
NT: wait!, I mean see Vikrant is coming and so are the elders you both wait here, I'll just go and get the ring and find where these people are hiding.
M: come soon, I will not slide the ring in Vikrant's finger if Maan is not by his side.
NT: ok wait he'll be here in a minute
She goes upstairs and calls their names bringing them out of trance.
They go to her and she smiles to find that Geet has loosened her hair to fall down she was mesmerized and felt proud of them
Asks them to come with her, she holds Geet on her right side and puts her hand in Maan's arm, who was on her left and descends the steps one at a time.
Every eye in the hall looked at them, it seemed as if NT was escorting the couple,
Maan was looking very smart and handsome; Geet was looking beautiful and gorgeous
They looked heavenly made for each other,
Rajji and Meera were surprised by the transformation, both were very happy.
